"After Frank the barber left town mysteriously, I was rightfully worried I wouldn't find a place to cut my hair. After a few months of living like a bohemian, my naturally curly hair grew bushy. I didn't mind when people ran to the other side of the street when I strolled along a sidewalk, or when my girl friend's family left out of the group photos. However when my cat stopped recognizing me, I knew it was time to find my new Frank. I tried a lot of barbers shops and they didn't have the authenticity of Crosscuts. I always have a hard time finding a place to cut my hair due to the curl and these guys do it right every time. It's located right next to Backline Comedy Theater, so I get my haircut and hit a show."

"I have been a client of "Balance" for the past 8 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I first tried them because they are located close to my house but now would drive across town if I needed to. I have a regular standing appointment with Tricia but have used and can recommend Teresa and Erica, as well. The space is very clean and professional. Tricia makes sure to check in with you as far as pressure and trouble spots you may have. I am very picky with my massage as I have had a number of shoulder issues and a very stressful life. This is money and time very well spent. Try them and you'll never go anywhere else either!"

"Even though I am related to Jamie I feel it necessary to write this review. Jamie has what I call magic fingers. Because of her knowledge and skill I utilized her talents while healing from 2 foot surgeries in one year. I was in a walking boot for 8 weeks for the 1st surgery and 6 weeks for the second surgery. My calves and shoulders were always so sore from compensating my gait for the boots that it was very hard to function. Within minutes of Jamie beginning work on my muscles I could feel a world of difference. Her technique and knowledge is spot on. During one session she could even tell that there was something wrong with my rotator cuff and recommended I see a therapist. She was right and I had therapy for 10 weeks. Regardless of personal relationship, I highly recommend Massage and Spa by Jamie Richardson. I have not been compensated for this review, I believe in this young woman's skills."

"I've gone to chiropractors since I was a kid and am pretty picky with who I will see. Since moving from Atlanta, I have tried a handful of places... none that I have been fond of yet. Dr. Godfrey truly listens and caters the adjustments to what I need vs what most chiros think I need. Some things make my body feel worse so he skips those modalities. He is able to do full body adjustments for me (I am a massage therapist) and work with my whole body so I really need this and it's hard to find a chiropractor who gets that. He also has enough strength to do the adjustments, I've never left feeling like there's more to be done. They take insurance, appointments are available or walk ins! It's also very kid friendly with things for them to play with. Never had an issue bringing my 3 yr old."

"I was treated to a 50min massage for my birthday and really enjoyed it. I checked in and was able to pick out my own essential oil for my face rest. I chose lavender. The room was dimly lit, soothing sounds of the ocean was playing and the table was heated which was great for the winter time. I loved that I was able to tell her to put deep pressure on spots that needed it and she completely understood my body. Great pressure and gentle touch which was really relaxing. I loved the little sayings on the wall and mirrors. Very positive vibes and energy. I told her my knees were hurting and she suggested turmeric for inflammation. She even let me borrow a few of her tablets which was so kind! Only downside was that since we were downstairs you could hear people walking upstairs every now and then and the coffee shop was right next door. I was still able to zone out and relax - but it did catch my attention at times. When I'm back in Lincoln I will definitely come back again!"

My usual masseuse was out of town so I had to flip quick through yelp and find a place for a last minute adjustment.Molly made time to fit me in her schedule in the late afternoon. She was upbeat and positive not only giving me a great massage but also teaching me a couple stretches that in all my years of chiropractors and masseuses I had never learned. I will be returning to Molly in the future and thank her for all the help"

"First time visitor here and already quite happy. It starts with scheduling, which I pretty much universally loathe. I wish there were magic calendar pixies flitting around making sure things happen when they need to without the logistical madness of reconciling my schedule with someone else's schedule with ... ugh. Here, though, they made it so easy! And they followed up! And they were on time! I felt like they were helping every step of the way, from the moment I made the appointment to the moment I was walking back to the therapy room. The services are also blessedly broad. It's not "just massage": you can also get Thai massage, hot and cold stone massage, barefoot massage, cranial sacral treatments, and about a zillion other things as far as I can tell. I love the opportunities that variety provides.I went for a Thai massage with Jillian. And I really enjoyed it. The focus was more on legwork and trigger points than on super athletic stretching, but it was good nonetheless. Next time (which there definitely will be) I'm going to ask for a bit more intensity in it, but that's my personal preference not a suggestion that anything was lacking. Because Jillian was great! Very professional, with great hands, dry wit, and multi-faceted skill. She even added a cranial sacral treatment to the end, which I now know can be epic relaxing. In fact I liked the ambience and ease of Skilled Touch so much that I immediately booked future appointments with Jillian to try some of the other services. Normally I'm not much for the "spa" feel - that hushed, church-like "shh - Don't. Say. Anything" vibe always feels stifling to me. But Skilled Touch is pleasant and calming without feeling stifling. I'm happy to have found it and happier still to be coming back soon."

"The OM Center is a great spot! We had a rather unhappy situation come into our lives and it was decided that we needed to have a memorial service. Being less traditional than many of her peers we decided that a more spiritual place would be more in line with representing her soul. OM Center stepped up and was more than happy to help. Much more fair in price than $750 the funeral home wanted and we were even allowed to bring in our own food. When we arrived we noted the gentle storefront and soothing tea area, but what struck me the most was the spacious area that was hosting the private event. At our disposal that night was a full size kitchen with large Stainless Steel appliances, a large counter/bar area for serving, linens, tables, and chairs. I was able to tweak the lighting to showcase what I wanted to and it really felt perfect. I know I was being looked upon with smiles from wherever Momma is hanging out these days. A large showing of old friends, family, co-workers and neighbors came to celebrate and there was enough room and warmth for us all. I would love to have another event at the OM Center, just maybe a bit more on the lighter side of things"

"What greater way to relax and ease your muscles than a great massage at a great price? An affordable luxury that I have grown to love when I'm able to. At $35 for a one hour massage from a student the kinks and knots are gradually eased away as relaxing music plays in the background. I've gone a few times already and so far it has done wonders to my shoulders and back. It's been a great experience so far and I look forward to going back. I highly recommend the Omaha School of Massage if you don't mind seeing a student, it's an affordable luxury you can enjoy every once in awhile. If you want to see a licensed therapist at the school it's $55 for one hour. I suggest booking early as they do get full quickly especially towards the weekend. It's located just behind the Hy-Vee on 96th and Q streets, has ample space for parking and the staff are professional friendly. So, if you're feeling a bit knotty go ahead and give Omaha School of Massage a call and book your appointment to get those knots loosened up! Your body will thank you later!"

"OMG. I am tightly-wound, and Bella had me so relaxed, I was drooling and half asleep.(We visited the 4726 Cooper location)I made a "Couples Sanctuary" appointment for my mom & I for Mothers Day. We were running a couple minutes late and frazzled as usual, but as soon as we walked through the front door, it was impossible not to slow down and breathe. I was thirsty; they had water waiting. I skipped breakfast; they offered us a choice of sweet or savory rolls. They gave us a foot scrub and soak in some hot water & herbs as we sat in our robes and drank our tea (sooo nice!). And I'm not even to the best part yet...I've had massages before, and this one was an hour of BLISS. Both of the masseuses actually listened to what was bothering us & modified the massages. I had hurt my lower back earlier that week, and so Toddia gave it special attention. Honestly, my mom & I both walked out like noodles, and we STAYED relaxed for the rest of the day! A new family record - ha!This was the best mother's day gift I've ever given, and I cannot WAIT to go back for a solo session."
