"Wonderful restaurant! We had wedge salads and fried chicken and wild mushroom pork chop! Food was awesome and Desiree is great! We'll be back!PS: OMG! Get the salted caramel cake!"
"Love. Incredible. This place is all I could ever want. Fun drinks, incredible vibes, great servers. Love that you can get food from Buzzard Billy's. I could live there. It is so cozy I feel like I'm in my grandma's basement (in a good way if that makes sense). Such a special place I want to live there. I FORGOT TO MENTION THE Espresso Martinis!!! They are too good. Idk how they do it. Love."
"We started out with a small side salad that is decent sized & their Italian dressing is home made - Yum! We ordered two individual pizzas. I got Phil's Special which is chicken, red onions, mushrooms, Mancini peppers, and light mozzarella. That is full of toppings & delicious. My uncle got the hamburger and mozzarella pizza. He really enjoyed its thin crust & covered in cheese. Our waitress was tentative & quick to serve. She stopped at our table several times to make sure we were doing OK! It was busy on a Tuesday night with groups of people celebrating birthdays all around us so the noise level was a bit loud but we didn't mind. They have a few TVs that had golf on. I really enjoyed dinner and plan to be back soon!"
"I planned on eating at Stirnella next door for dinner, but they were releasing a new fall menu and wouldn't open until later than usual. Fortunately Red Lion Lounge was right around the corner, so I settled into one of the comfy stools at the bar and ordered a Black Manhattan. The bartender seemed a little standoffish until he saw my tattoos, which we got into a conversation about. That's usually a good icebreaker at bars. The cocktail was fantastic, and I love that every bartender here has some sort of seasonal special that they cross-promote for each other. There seemed to be an equal amount of locals and first timers. Great spot for groups. Would love to come back and try more of the drinks. Oh and there seems to be happy hour! Overall cool loungey spot with fascinating artwork and old-timey movies on the screen."
"Holy moly! This is honestly some of the best Italian food I've ever had, and I travel extensively... I'm shocked how good this place is. Try the meatballs, the garlic oil dip, the fresh bread. WOW!"

Party of four with reservations for 6:15. Arrived on time and seated immediately. It was about 90 percent of capacity. Wait staff checked on us and gave us menus and took our drink orders right away. We had beers, soft drinks and a Manhattan. The Manhattan was outstanding. It had an interesting circular seating area and was very comfortable. We ordered pasta, chicken, and surf and turf. Everything was delicious. Did I mention the manhattan was delicious? It was my favorite part of the meal. Here comes the problem. When they brought the bill, we always do a quick audit to make sure it is correct. IT WAS NOT! The waitress had added three salads totaling almost $30 that we did not order! They of course took them off the bill, but it's a good thing we checked. You should also check your bill to make sure it's correct.

Haven't been here for a few years, but am happy we came. Excellent atmosphere (very 50s) and not too loud for such a large busy space. Drinks were amazing (as expected), my favorite is the Bogart. Waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable. Great place to bring out of town guests. Will have to come back sooner next time.

We've consistently had good service whether dining in or getting takeout. The restaurant does great with accommodating large crowds and families. While the pizza quality has been hit and miss- the menu offers other standout items. My husband enjoyed the catfish dinner, and I still love their garden salads (sans the anchovies). I've also heard good things about their spaghetti & meatballs. Speaking of the pizza, there are times when it's perfect, with the right toppings balance, but occasionally, it can be overwhelming with too much cheese and toppings. It makes the crust a bit floppy for my liking. Being a sauce enthusiast, I often wish for more sauce, and I make sure to request it when ordering.Despite these nuances, it remains a classic Omaha pizza place, and it's worth exploring the other items on the menu. Service & atmosphere: 5 stars, pizza: 2 - 3 stars.

This might be my new favorite bar after nite owl. I absolutely love the vibe. Dark, warm, not too loud, and relaxing. The drinks are great and I could hang here for hours. The only thing it's missing for me is more variety in the snacks department. That's why I like nite owl slightly better. But they do still have a small variety of food options. Would love to come here on the regular! I sat at the bar, but the booths with those red velvet seats look so comfy and cozy.

Location & size gives this place potential but it has been in a position as the only option neighborhood area bar/pub for some time. Great pizza / good food but it's very LOUD in that there is nothing to absorb the sound in either room & it can make it hard to talk (Watch out when a bachelorette party comes in.). Also avoid throwing $ in the jukebox bc they'll skip songs from behind the bar or turn it off altogether mid-song if it's not what they wanna hear.

Decided on take out last night as I had a gift card to use and haven't been able to go in person. Pre-Covid we would come here for drinks but have never tried their food. I asked for my order to be ready at 530 and as I walked in the door at 531 my order was bagged and waiting for me. We ordered wings, a cheeseburger and Philly. The wings were amazing and still crispy when we got home. They also have the good ranch. Our sandwiches were delicious and the hand cut fries were amazing! The staff was helpful and didn't mind special requests for our food. We will definitely be back!

I came here with my brother and cousins as we all came together for a family gathering in Omaha this past weekend. The locals in the group had frequented the Old Mill Lounge so we came here to drink a little and reminisce.Since I live in Vegas, I am used to paying large amounts of money for a draft beer or any sort of drink. I offered to pay for 2 beers and a drink when we got there and the total was $9.50! I was expecting more. Draft beers were bud light, bud light wheat, miller lite and sam adams, so most of us went for sam adams. We ended up getting a pitcher of it later for $12.The bar had a large TV showing the Olympics, couches, chairs, pool table, etc. I definitely used the touch tunes jukebox to play some Depeche Mode and Led Zeppelin in the bar. This is a cool and affordable place to hang out and grab a beer. I even brought along adult mad libs and we did those while drinking and had a good laugh.

"Sad! Sarpy county dive bar.Mediocre appetizers that were quite bland. No soundproofing in the ceiling so the sound bounces off of the floor.Bar mostly has the beers of the foreign-owned Anhueser-Busch. The saddest aspect is the theme: Waterfalls.Patrons are subjected to a waterfall that you could buy at the NFM. And then pictures of real waterfalls from around the world are in the menu. No picture of Smith Falls in Nebraska. Why? We can admire a Husker football on the wall but nothing of our natural Husker heritage.Addendum. For some inexplicable reason a wedding party stopped here. One bridesmaid was falling out of her top so that was somewhat amusing. At least no visible tats with this crew so not completely clueless. Maybe the purpose of the visit was a vicarious trip to Niagara Falls."
"I read the reviews about white people at the cove and laughed so I decided to check it out for myself. I counted at least 5 minorities that I could visibly tell. Possibly 2 more for a possible total of 8 (because of yours truly); there was about 40 people here so that's almost 1/4. That's pretty good for a bar that's located west of 90th St in Omaha. The song playing when I walked in was Big Sean "I don't f@&k with you". If it was a country song, I would've considered leaving before really coming in. Beer selection was decent, as was the liquor. I asked for crown and they had plenty of it (Apple, peach, maple and reserve) so that's a big + in my book. There wasn't any PBR on tap, another plus. I ordered some chili cheese tots and asked for fries instead. They obliged and they were great! I always like checking out the bathrooms cause when you gotta drop a bomb, it's nice to know if it's safe. These were good bathrooms, a bit dark, but maybe it's better that way so people can't identify who left the nasty smell. My one complaint is the toilet paper. I like mine softer. It's a sports bar, so college football games are on and there's darts, golden tee, pool and shuffleboard (which a white person did teach me to play). Wait, another minority walked in, I feel good about this place"
"Dark, divey, and a bit mysterious, the Old Mill Lounge is tucked away next to Cunningham's and New York Burrito. You know, the strip mall in the shadow of TD Ameritrade HQ.We stopped by for a couple drinks and some Funyuns on a Saturday night. The place was not busy. There were a few regulars at the bar drifting outside on occasion to smoke. The rest of the bar had younger couples quietly talking to each other at the various tables. The bartender was super nice and even offered table service. Drag racing was on the the big screen.A glass of wine and an Lagunitas draught was about $10. There's also a kitchen that serves up typical bar food, but it had closed down by 10pm.There's a review that says this bar feels like a basement from the '70s. Pretty accurate, although I'd add that it's feels like a basement that hasn't been remodeled since the '70s. I dug it. I'd go back."
"Amazing for brunch! Great vibe, good food, awesome drink selection! Service was fast too!"
