(Not trying to sound like an advert here, just stating it how it is). I only use this company for my rock when I landscape. They load up the bucket, gently dump it in the bed of my truck and I'm done! Fast, easy, affordable. The selection is also good. I definitely saved money buying the mats from here that I needed in bulk, rather than trying to buy what was needed from any garden center in lincoln (lowes, home depot, menards, etc...) I made a minor change to the design and Jeff was able to accommodate it. The crew, the foreman and Jeff showed up on time and we discussed the design and I expressed my concern about keeping the area as clean as possible of little things due to me having a small puppy (3 months old). The crew was great and took my concerns into consideration and answered all my questions. I asked to have some additional sod put in and they accommodated the small change order without a problem. This company and employees were a pleasure to work with and I would hire them again. For my concern of small left over pieces, I couldn't find any and neither did my puppy. They hit my irrigation line, the repair left the irrigation head over 3 inches high and 2 feet from the original site. They never replaced the tubing they cut. Also, garbage was buried in the hole. Flagstones placed were missing limestone underneath. Two pathways made we're not the same width. One was 5 foot wide, the other 4 foot. I won't be using them again. Communication was subpar. I guess I expected a professional job and professional communication."

On the other hand, the team that did the actual job was pretty good, so I'll take down the review if the communication improves. For now... Definitely do not recommend. "We recently used Heartland Lawns for our sprinkler system repairs after moving into our new house. I found them based on a few neighbors using the company for their lawn care and now I can see why. First, their office staff (or at least the one answering the phones) was amazing. She was happy to answer the various questions I had before booking my appointment, and when she didn't know the answer to one, she sent me to a technician in the field to give me specifics. I can't think of the last time a company did that for me.Second, once the technician arrived for the appointment, he walked through the yard with me explaining everything he saw before getting to work. I really appreciated him taking the time to educate me on the issues we were having (a few more than I realized), but also saved me a few bucks by showing me how to do some adjustments on my own for the future. He definitely didn't have to take that much time, but it really went above and beyond for me. Lastly, communication and billing was and is very straightforward. Their website makes it easy to do everything online once you have an account with them. I'd highly recommend Heartland Lawn for sprinkler system needs and I'll be sure to contact them for other lawn needs now in the future too."

They arrived on time to give their estimate, followed up quickly with a bid and kept me informed as to when the crew would come to do the work. I have never seen 3 men hustle and work together as a team like they did. We had them remove landscape timbers from around two trees, move dirt, mulch under 2 trees, clean out a real mess of weeds & overgrowth behind a garage, put down mesh around the plants in the block wall they built many years ago, added river rock to the entire +125 foot wall and sodded a spot where a tree was recently removed. All this in less than 6 hours. I was amazed with their professionalism and work ethics. They were very polite and answered all questions. Before they left they cleaned up everything and checked with me to make sure all was ok. I couldn't be any happier with the work they did and already have another project in mind for them. "Summary - Don't use them. They'll promise the world, and deliver half-done work. Don't pay until they are 100% done, because its impossible to get them to finish the job. 10 months ago our job started, and after months of no responses, we gave up and are going to try to finish ourselves.Longer story - We hired this company based on recommendations from our interior designer. Initial design went pretty smoothly, and ultimately their reviews were good so we moved forward. Work started in November and seemed relatively on pace. Then we saw some things being done opposite of the plan. So I went down to talk to the project manager (who had designed with us) and she was like "Oh yeah, I lost our copy of the plan so I was trying to do it from memory." That was our first red flag....Along the way we ran into these issues:-Tried to put a gas line junction box in the middle of the small grass area in our back yard. When they easily could have put it somewhere else. Eventually after asking mulitiple times they moved it to part of the mulch area. -Our main feature was supposed to be a roaring fire pit. They installed a new product (unknown to us) that couldn't even stay lit more than 5 minutes with a barely visible flame when it was lit. We had to BEG, and ultimately get our lawyer involved for them to fix it.-Over and over they would promise they were going to come onsite to work towards finishing it, only to blow us off with no communication.-We were supposed to be "first priority to finish things up in the spring" but they would occasionally show up and do a few things before leaving promising to be back soon...This was a $30,000 project, and they never finished it. The only way we got it as close to finished as it is...we got our lawyer involved. If you're considering working with them, they'll be great during the design phase until you give them some money...then your project suddenly is the bottom of their list. Run away."

"This place is a great way to spend a fall day. In addition to the landscaping things for purchase, which I need admit I didn't really look at. They are an orchard with TONS of dwarf apple trees with many different flavors. The staff that work here are as sweet as can be. At the farmers market, last year, she would give me a free apple every time she saw me and was so helpful when I came to buy apples. You can save a HECK of a lot of money coming here. I go at least once a year now to purchase a box of apples for about $50. Expensive you say? No not really, considering I weighed my last box and got almost 60 pounds of apples for less than $1.00 a pound. If you're not into buying that much they do sell apples for $2.00lbs, slightly more expensive than the grocery store, but folks I promise you won't have a quality apple like this from the grocery store. I was able to make a year supply of applesauce, juice, and apple powder for $50. Heck of a deal. I brought my foster kids here and thanks to the trees being so short they were able to enjoy picking. My advice to the owners would be to give out little wagons for folks purchasing a big box. Once it gets half full it's hard to carry. By the end we were dragging it. If/when you go, try the candy crisp apples and the cortland. They will blow your mind and thankfully they're almost ready to be picked. Dear mother nature... I am so patiently waiting!"

"My husband and I switched from another lawn company to Kozy about two years ago and we couldn't be happier with their services. The prices are excellent, and are exactly as we were quoted, the staff is always friendly and professional, and the owner is an absolute gentleman. Yesterday when the Kozy team was out at our home mowing and trimming, our cat darted out of our home and toward the street. It was my fault for leaving the window open, but luckily, the owner (I don't remember his name) happened to be stopping by to check on his crew. He saw our cat heading for the street, and saved her from an oncoming car without a thought for his own safety, Tonight when I went to leave this review, I was disgusted to see that there are seven single star reviews on Yelp about this company, posted by obvious friends/acquaintances of another business or possibly an employee with an axe to grind. These people all mention some story of a customer who refused to pay her bill, and do not say they have been clients themselves- one reviewer is even in California. None of these people are active members of the Yelp community with their profiles displaying zero friends and 0-3 other reviews in the past year. They are very likely fake profiles created specifically for hurting this business. As an Elite Yelper, it always bothers me to see this platform hijacked and weaponized for targeting a business, and that is clearly what has happened here. Not one of the negative reviews here states they have experienced Kozy's services, and should be removed from this site. We are very thankful and appreciative for the actions of the owner of this company yesterday, the flawless services we have received over the past two years. We will continue to recommend Kozy Lawn Care to others, and to use them ourselves."

"Just as with the other Campbell's nursery, this location has a well laid out green house area with multiple sections for all the different types of plants. The indoor part of the store also had displays that made it easy to find what you were looking for. For instance, all the small to medium sized pots and planters they had for sale were all located in one corner of the shop, and the different types of pest killers had their own dedicated shelf. For pots and planters they don't have a big selection in the building, but have a sign that says to check out the Pine Lake store for more styles. There is one walkway on the outside that had plastic and terra cotta planters, but on my last visit they were out of stock of some of the saucer and pot sizes.I immediately went to the succulent and cactus section to see what they had. I was super excited to see that they had a bit more of a selection than the other location, but also had more stock available of all the different species of plants. There was way more to choose from for plants that were big enough for 6 inch pots. I don't think I saw a single tray that wasn't either full or close to full, so plenty of stock here.One thing I appreciated was that besides the large carts for holding your items, they have baskets to use for your shopping. Makes it a lot easier to shop when you're know you're not going to be buying a lot and don't want to push around a cart.I found all the employees I interacted here very pleasant and helpful. While one person rang up my items, another loaded them all into a cardboard tray for me to carry out. I'm sure if I had needed anything help in finding anything they would've been able to help. Will come back here for any more of my garden and plant needs."
