"The pomodoro sauce is 10/10. The sauce with our focaccia was the also delicious and unique. They used fennel to add flavor to our meals, which I enjoyed. We tried the pizza and the risotto special. The crust on the pizza was just right. Our server was great. This is very very small restaurant. The kitchen is in view, which is nice, but it's not exactly a fine dining experience. It's more like a hipster Italian joint. There is a political propaganda sticker on the door and the staff has tattoos. I won't be back because this isn't my kinda scene, but the food was tasty."
"Sorry forgot the flavor of the pizza - I just know it was a medium and it was scrumptious and really great to munch on! Service was great - waiter delivered the food to us in a timely manner. Ambiance was great, we ate during a summer month, so there was a nice sunny (non-cold) breeze from the open porch window, while we were eating pizza."

"We had a delightful experience at Mangia Italiana in Omaha! Kicked off the evening with an Italian Margarita - a tasty start to a wonderful meal. The Meat Lasagna was a highlight for my wife - baked to perfection with layers of seasoned beef, ricotta, and that delectable Sugo. Her side salad with Ranch Dressing was fresh and flavorful.I opted for the Chicken Primavera - a savory dish packed with broccoli, mushrooms, onions, artichoke hearts, and roasted peppers, all tossed in a delicious marinara sauce and served with Bow Tie pasta. The Creamy Gorgonzola cheese added a rich and creamy touch that elevated the flavors. What truly impressed us was the courteous and knowledgeable server who made our dining experience top-notch.Mangia Italiana is a gem in Omaha that delivers on taste, service, and ambiance - definitely worth a visit!"
"If you're a fan of the Chicago stable of deep dish staples, then you'll be pleased to know that Omaha has a place of its own that measures up well. Excellent sauce, flaky crust and fresh ingredients. Davlo delivers."
"Jimmys salad! Sooo good. Be ready for large portions. Casual ambience with a bar and wonderful service."
"Professional fancy atmosphere with quick service. The food was great and everything was clean."
"We have visited after church a couple of Sundays in a row now. Huge shoutout to the friendly service. The food is enough variety for our pescatarian friends and for our meat eaters. The house soup and homemade Alfredo sauce is delicious. My last visit I had the antipasto salad- which was the perfect portion. Definitely will eat here regularly."
"I will 100% be back. Luigi's was so good, especially for the price. The lobster ravioli was amazing- i'll for sure go back for that! The rest of the food was really good too. We got the fried ravioli for an appetizer which we really enjoyed!I got their limoncello cocktail, which was ok. Kind of just tasted like lemonade with lake vodka in it, not bad but nothing special. The ambiance was a little cheesy, but I appreciated it. The service was also good!Overall I would 100% go back. The food was really good especially for the price."
"Amazing NY style pizza. This place is amazing! Hands down best pizza in Omaha. Crust was cooked perfect, plenty of crunch."
"Fabulous service, food and atmosphere. I can't believe it took me this long to discover this gem. It was a busy night so we sat at the bar which was fine. Time was limited for us so we skipped apps and ordered right away. I had the pasta Diablo with added chicken & veggies. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo. Both to die for, came salad and bread. So flavorful & huge portions. We will return for apps & dessert soon. All food coming out looked & smelled great."
"Over all great experience and very inexpensive. The environment was very family friendly and our server Zane - although busy was very attentive and social. The Meatball sub was really great, and super filling. Would recommend if you are looking for a pizzeria!"
"After a day of traveling and settling in with our hosts in Omaha, we made our way out to dinner. La Casa was the restaurant of choice and a decent one at that! An historic institution to the area, La Casa boasts its' history in photos throughout the space, creating a homey vibe. The interior is cozy, yet spacious and allows for parties of all sizes. Our hungry party of 5, opted for a round of appetizers (garlic bread and toasted ravioli) and salads before diving into our 2 large pizzas and a house made lasagna. I'll admit the crust on the pizzas is light, fluffy and crunchy, which made the entire thing, but I found the pizza to be a little lackluster. Nothing to write home about, in my opinion. The lasagna was stacked high and tasted good but definitely heavy - so avoid if wanting a lighter meal. Desserts here are decent too - we ordered a round of the zappole for home, which I apparently liked even more after a few cocktails. Service was okay - clearly overwhelmed from the Friday night rush, but our waters were refilled consistently, and wine delivered after a bit of wait. Not sure I'd go out of my way to return, but a unique introduction to Omaha."

This place is tasty! Right when you walk in you are met with an aesthetic pile of wood that is used to fire up the wood fire oven for the pizzas, setting the mood for a delicious rustic meal ahead. We frequent Via Farina often for good reason. Personally, I always love trying items off of their seasonal menu as I feel like they are able to capture the current season perfectly in the dishes and drinks that they create. To start, I got a sprtiz that was lemony and herby and so delicious! The roasted artichokes are ALWAYS a must. They must sprinkle some crack on these they are that good. They are tender and smokey and have the green goddess dip that is herby and light and pulls it all together. For the mains- I always get a pizza. I am gluten free and they are very accommodating and have gluten free crust that is pretty tasty. I got the Salaicia which was full of flavor. I loved the arugula on top as it brought a nice element of freshness. This place is great! highly recommend!

I wanted to bring our boys here after an appointment one night because of the huge portions of delicious food. I went with a seafood pasta. That was really good, but I wish I had gone and ordered the special after seeing my son's dish. Service has always been nice, but we did have to wait a little bit longer than normal for food that night. Everything was worth the wait though, and our boys commented how awesome it was. Huge portions of food for a reasonable price.

We have dined many times at MoMo's. The food is delicious and should satisfy a variety of tastes. I have always enjoyed the ambiance of the place. It's a pizza place with a well-stocked bar! I don't remember ever being dissatisfied with the service I received or the waitstaff in general. If you're in the mood for Italian American cuisine, Momo's is a Lincoln hotspot!

I live so close to this place and had never taken the time to stop here. I will be adding this to my usual spots list! There is something in the menu for everyone. We stopped during happy hour and they have great deals. It was my first time trying the onion soup and it was delicious! Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful little place! Beautifully decorated, friendly service, and the food came fast too! They were happy to give us as much bread for the table as we wanted, and it was delicious, not like that lame Olive Garden bread. My chicken piccata was so tasty, and so much food. I had enough to leave for lunch AND leftovers for dinner. Great spot, I'll be back for more!

"Sgt Peffers is and always will be the go to. It's a cozy little cafe that never fails to satisfy your tummy and emotional needs"
"When I come back home from a business trip, I don't want to go out to eat or really go anywhere, but Lucca is absolutely incredible. It's my first time at the restaurant, and they are incredibly accommodating to my lactose-free diet, and everything tasted amazing."
"I will start with the good stuff. Both my wife's and my dinners were very good. My wife ordered the lasagna and while she thought it was too spicy, I thought it was perfect. It was loaded with meat and the sauce was thick and very flavorful. My chicken Parmesan was very good. It was tender, juicy, covered with their very good sauce and absolutely delicious. Both our entrees came with a fresh and very good warm bread stick. Now for the negatives. Neither or our entrees came with a side salad or soup and they wanted $5 for such. I do not ever remember paying $15 for and entree and not getting a house salad come with it. Next, my Chicken Parmesan came served over Penne pasta. Everyplace else I have had this came with it served over spaghetti. Lastly, while my Chicken Parmesan was very good, I usually like mine on the thicker side All in all we both liked the place enough to agree the we will be coming back in the future to try more items on the menu."
"We ate dinner at Vincenzo's recently on the last night of a 3-day stay in Lincoln. It had been close to 100 degrees every day we were there, the house we were thinking of buying turned out to have a fatal flaw, and none of our restaurant meals had been anything beyond "okay." To top things off, I didn't feel like Italian food that evening! But just the bread and salad tasted fabulous, and along with the ice water, made me feel a lot better! And then the throw-caution-to-the-wind stuffed manicotti I ordered was simply over the top in deliciousness! We finished off the caloric extravaganza by splitting a delish creme brûlée. The food, service, and ambience were each 5-star items! This dinner really ended our short vacay on a high note!"
"Made a reservation for 4 because never been here and glad I did! The parking lot probably needs to be expanded but good location. When first walking in there is a revolving door that you have to push hard. There is a bakery right as you walk in along with pasta machines and a display case of all the desserts. I love the fact that our chairs were roller chairs as it made it much easier to scoot in or out. The service was great, our waiter was an older gentleman and he gave great recommendations! The music was light but ole fashioned and the decor was old parts of boats, and beautiful paintings. The food was so delicious. My friend ordered the feasting bread and OMG it was so much bread but so light, and full of flavor! I was sad they didn't have ranch but the creamy Italian dressing they had was so delicious I could have brought a container home. I highly recommend the Noah's Chicken Parmigiana - it's phenomenal!! There is a small side of spaghetti that is served with it as well. My friend ordered the pork chops for two and she said she liked it. Bf and I decided to try dessert and I definitely was not disappointed. I love tiramisu but the waiter suggested the berry one, it was so flavorful of berries and cream! I wasn't sure I would like it as I'm not a huge fan of berries but it was by far the best dessert I've had in a long time. Bf tried the salted caramel crumb cake and he said it was good. Prices are about average for this type of dining as well. We will definitely be going back!"
"I don't live in Omaha, and I don't know much about the city, but when I was researching where to host dinner for my board of directors gathering there a friend recommended that I look at Cascio's Steak House. He told me that it is "an institution" in the city, part of the Little Italy neighborhood, and have been operating in Omaha since 1946. We gave them a look, and spent a few weeks arranging things with the wonderful staff there. We had an easy time working with the reetaurant to get things scheduled. Tonight, we had our dinner and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was old school charm. It felt like being an Italian family gathering. Things were casually, tastefully presented making everyone feel welcome and at ease, and letting us move at our own pace, like a family gathering. We had steaks of several kinds, chicken parmigiana, and salmon as entrée choices. I had the chicken parm and it was fantastic. The steaks were beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the food. For dessert, I don't even know what else was offered because as soon as I saw tiramisu, I picked it and moved on. So good. I want to give a special recognition to the crew there. Lacey and Alfie were wonderful, and took care of us professionally and kindly. I learned a lot about the history of the Cascio family's restaurant from the displays on the front hall, and recognized Alfie as a younger man in the photos. During our event, one of our group had an emergency and needed to leave. We were working to arrange a ride via Uber as none of us had vehicles in town, but Alfie borrowed Lacey's car and was kind enough to deliver this customer to their hotel. Then, back to serving us. A kind gesture and indicative of the service and friendliness w experienced while enjoying a great dinner. I really can't say enough about the very charming experience that we had at Cascio's. I'm very thankful and appreciative, and I had a wonderful meal. I recommended highly. Also, if you are there during the college World Series, make sure you see Alfie's collection of autographed team shirts from all of the teams that have eaten there during CWS and over Cascio's many many years."
"Went with a party of three adults and two children on a Tuesday evening. No reservation but they were quick to accommodate us anyway. The food was fantastic but honestly the service was impeccable. There were a few things that the employees did that were just beyond the norm and absolutely made our visit incredible. While the kids were waiting on the front bench for their father, one server actually said she didn't have any tables and could keep an eye on them while we enjoyed some wine. Like how sweet is that?! Additionally our server was extremely good at communicating and noticing cues. We did not have to ask for more bread, refills, etc. she was on top of it. The food was exceptional, we ordered the shrimp imbottito, steak Gorgonzola and penne Marsala. The shrimp entree was 8/10 overall. The shrimp were plump and had great flavors. The veggies were slightly undercooked and the angel hair pasta didn't have any sauce which was a surprise. Steak was cooked to perfection and the star of the show, so good. The Penne had great feedback, and I was told the beef on it was really tasty."
"Excellent Italian food in Lincoln. Large portions so come hungry. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the interior vibe. We started with the fried calamari. It was light, crisp and very tasty. Loved it. And then we all had pasta, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. We took my parents and they loved it too. Oh, I forgot the bread... my god that bread is good. Thanks, Villa Amore. See you next time!"
"Our new favorite restaurant in Omaha! Everything was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the Bellybutton Soup! We had the Donatello with a Brunello di Montalcino and it was a better experience than we have had in places like Vegas, New York or San Diego. 10/10 the service was extremely good as well."
"We started out with a small side salad that is decent sized & their Italian dressing is home made - Yum! We ordered two individual pizzas. I got Phil's Special which is chicken, red onions, mushrooms, Mancini peppers, and light mozzarella. That is full of toppings & delicious. My uncle got the hamburger and mozzarella pizza. He really enjoyed its thin crust & covered in cheese. Our waitress was tentative & quick to serve. She stopped at our table several times to make sure we were doing OK! It was busy on a Tuesday night with groups of people celebrating birthdays all around us so the noise level was a bit loud but we didn't mind. They have a few TVs that had golf on. I really enjoyed dinner and plan to be back soon!"
"I first experienced Piezano's while in Lincoln on our house hunting trip for my new job. I asked the hotel front desk for a recommendation for "local" pizza vs national chain crap. He recommended Piezano's but warned me it would take awhile but worth the wait. My first order was Calzone and was huge/awesome. It stuff my wife and me.So now I live in Lincoln and I've done calzone again, but tonight it was pizza. It was so dang good. I will never order chain pizza as long as I live it Lincoln."
"We love this place! They have an amazing brunch menu, and the deal on bottomless mimosas is the best. The servers are always nice and the dining area is pretty. We're always coming back"
"We always have a great time at Florio's. This is one of my wife and I's date night favorites. Bes has created a gem of a place in South Lincoln. The food is good and it one of the few places in town I can get anchovies on my Caesar salad. Keep up the good work."
"Always the best!! Love the chicken Parmesan & any of the pizzas! They are so yummy!! Great portion sizes, too! We always stop when we're in Omaha! Lots of TVs with various sports going on."
"Z'mariks Noodle Cafe' is probably one of the best fast-casual restaurants I've ever been to! The food is amazing. (My daughter's #1 favorite) Not to mention the exquisite service! They are never short-staffed, and employees are always friendly and food comes quickly. Their menu has many healthy and delicious options for the whole family, my daughter's favorite being their "Z'chicken fajita bowl", mine being their "Z'asian salad" and my wife's being their famous classic, "Z'mac and cheese." But the whole menu is certainly outstanding, and so are the prices! I don't believe I've ever even spent over $50 on a meal there! Location is also amazing, right next to the shopping mall! Overall, this is a household favorite and we only wish there was a location closer to where we are!"
"Excellent Italian food. We had (3) pasta dishes (Chix and mushrooms, Chix Alfredo and Sausage w Tomato based sauce) which were all very tasty. Large portions as well so I have enough for dinner tomorrow. The garlic bun appetizer were delicious and even more so after dipping them in Alfredo dipping sauce. We also had the Caramel Cheesecake and Limoncello Cheesecake...perfect way to end a fabulous dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be going back. We also ordered two pizzas, which will be for our dinner tomorrow (I wanted to sneak a slice tonight but was too full)"
"The place could really use a face-lift. It's looking tired and neglected. We had a roast beef sandwich. It was tough and cold. They forgot the French fries. When they came, they were the best part of the meal. The toilet should be an absolute embarrassment. It stank like an outhouse. The place has slipped since I was last there."
"The food is amazing and the staff is pleasant definitely recommend the shrimp dish and the pizza is also very good my wife likes the spaghetti your way the lasagna is also very good"
"I wish Valentinos was nationwide. When I'm in Nebraska I also make it a point to enjoy some Valentinos pizza. The sauce is what makes it great! (I usually buy a few jars and bring home with me.) In Lincoln, on UNL game days, they have an all-day buffet with salad bar, soup/chili, and pizza. Yum! Decor is clean and simple. The host and servers always show true midwest hospitality."
"For the price and speed, this chain makes a great sandwich. The pastrami sandwich is close enough to taste and resemble that of a Jewish deli... it's that good.Today I had the Yonker's sandwich, and it was simply a great sandwich. Omaha lacks a good local deli, but this location fills the gap well. It's also well managed with nice and efficient staff.Five stars for taste, service and value... all from a fast food chain location. Well done!"
"Ordered delivery - arrived much sooner than expected and the pizza was delish! Ordered the turkey bacon alfredo. Most interesting pizza crust I've ever had, very biscuit like. Overall great experience!"
"Best calzone I've ever eaten. Alfredo pizza was amazing. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend trying it out."
"I've been here a few times now. I must admit I wasn't particularly enthused with their sausage & pepper pasta. This last time, though, I had the linguine Alfredo and that dish was a joyful plate full of comfort food. It totally hit the spot! I've also had their Red Pepper Soup a couple of times and it's very good. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza, but as other Yelpers here have stated, this is a solid spot for lunch."
