"Has apparently been...8?? years. Maybe so. Lunch here today for updates. Having a variety of curry options. Veg/Chicken. Spinach naan bread. Some of my favorites. Haymarket area not as busy today. Naan is wonderful. A side cup of celery-like dip. Very good also. And all was really good and we want to get back again."
"This is a pretty solid choice for Indian in town! I've only gotten take out from here a couple times, so I can't really speak on the experience dining in, but I can comment on the food. I've mostly just gotten their chicken curries like their butter chicken and tikka masala, and those were both great, creamy and flavorful. They do charge less if you pay with cash (~10%), so if you're the cash carrying type then that's something you might want to keep in mind."

"Highly recommended! I am so glad that Aroma Circuit came it Norfolk. My wife and I are Indian Food snobs (Just FYI--she worked in Indian and very much approves of AC food) and we really enjoy the food we get from this place each time. The service can be slow (new business growing pains) but they are always friendly and very willing to answer questions about the food and accommodate your requests. This is actually a wonderful addition to the less-than-exciting food scene in Norfolk. I imagine the residents here haven't had much exposure to Indian food but we are LUCKY to have an authentic, delicious, and friendly Indian food experience here in town.Just go now. And take me."
"Came in on a Monday night with my family for my sister in-laws birthday dinner. We had a party of 8. This is a newer restaurant that only just recently opened. The service was great. The 2 gentleman working front of house were very attentive and checked in on us pretty regularly. The food really was the star of the show. Anytime I go to a new Indian restaurant i always start with lamb biryani. It was splended. The cheese and garlic naan was great. As was everything else that the people in our party had. They gave us 2 deserts on the house and they were also out standing. Will definitely come back!"
"Clean, well lit space, with lots of healthy plants, which I take as a good sign. Outdoor seating options, friendly/knowledgeable server. Delicious mulligatawny soup--spicy, extra nice with the lemon. Dense, crispy, satisfying samosas. I would've preferred tamarind on the side rather than the yogurt/mint sauce, but it was ok. More yogurty than minty. The rice is delicious but there's too much served with tandoori shrimp. As to the shrimp, meh. Not bad but not enough tandoori hit for me to order it again. The side of saag was generous. It tasted green and clean but didn't have much spice or character.I'm usually gf but I did order a piece of plain naan, which was nice with the saag and rice, but a tad sweet on its own.And yes, this was way too much food for one person. LolAll in all, recommended."
"This is an Indian food place located in Inner Rail. I've tried this place a couple time, and it's pretty okay. Most recently I had the chicken tikka masala, the curry was a bit soupier than I would have liked. I prefer it a tad bit more thick. The chicken was also bit on the drier side. It wasn't made to order or anything either though, just laddled out of a container. It wasn't really bad, but there are other places in town that I like a lot better."
"The Chicken 65 dosa was wonderfully spicy to my preferences. The sides to dip the dosa into was a great journey of flavors. Wow"
"Food was spot on for Indian cuisine. We were hoping for the lunch buffet, but that is only on Friday & Saturdays. I ordered the Chicken Kadai which was noted spicy, but I didn't think it was. The chicken has a good mix of the flavors: onions, tomatoes, ginger, & garlic; nothing too powerful or stood out, just tasted really good. Of course every order should be put in with an order of Naan bread to complete the meal. All 4 of us enjoyed the dine in experience, other than the loud door opening & closing. I'm not sure what could be done about that, but the food is what we went for & it did not disappoint! We all agreed it was delicious & we would all go back!Just a few steps away from Douglas County Court House."
"We already like Jaipur near our house, so while visiting Dundee, we decided to try this new location. So glad we did.The aesthetic is clean and elegant. Tall ceilings and a wall of windows gives the place a vibe like you're on holiday. Seating is plentiful and comfortable. They were configuring tables for several large groups and we still had easy seating as walk-ins.The service was prompt, friendly and professional. She was always by to check on us without overbearing. The meal was plentiful and delicious. Three choices, plus naan, for two people, assured us leftovers. Always a bonus. The price was right for what we ordered too. We'll definitely return."
"I've been here a couple of times and the food and service are spot on! I do feel like I'm "cheating" on equally fabulous Mediterranean restaurants nearby. I tend to order off the menu because what I want is a bed of salad with chicken on it, lemon potatoes, and a pita on the side which is different than the menu item that has a side salad. Just make sure you are clear, and they will happily accommodate."

Grabbed dinner at the Oven during my stay in Lincoln. We didn't have a reservation, but got there around 5:00 and got a spot on the patio with no problems. However, it was PACKED when we left. We shared the thali, with extra naan and it was perfect! We got to try many dishes and the right amount of food for two. If you aren't sure what you like, it is a great way to try new things, without committing to an entire dish of something. Our service was VERY slow, especially after it got busy.

Astoria has become my favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha!I've tried many Indian restaurants in search of the perfect chicken tikka masala and have found it at Astoria. The creaminess is perfectly mixed with tomatoey sauce and is full of flavor and spices. The chicken is soft and tender as well. The butter naan dipped with the chicken tikka masala is so delicious! The best I've had. I usually get the vegetarian samosas for appetizer and the potato in is full of spices and flavor as well, goes perfectly with the mint chutney dipping sauce. The price is very reasonable and the service is great. Food comes out fast and piping hot..just how I like it! Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Oh my! Lots of authentic dishes from India here!We had chicken korma with rice in an onion sauce and cashew paste, pakora (a crispy fritter with chick pea flour and chicken, aloo paratha (potato stuffed oven fried bread with yogurt dip), a house salad with chopped lettuce, cucumber, and carrots with house dressing, and gulab jamun (fried condensed milk donuts in rose syrup)Everything was so tasty, including the rum and mango drink called Dreams of Goa.We are not very familiar with Indian cuisine, and truly enjoyed these dishes. Ordered mild sauces because we're not fans of really spicy foods and all of the ones we ordered were just right!

We came for our anniversary and shared the non vegetarian Thali. Home run! And insane value for money! The waiter was on-point with his input. We asked if it was enough food to share. He said it would feed 2 1/2 people. Sure enough, we were full, took home leftovers and my 4-year-old son had it for lunch the next day. Great variety on the Thali plate, flavorful but not overwhelming. Highly recommend! And the dining area is chill, a bit more casual than I anticipated but not in a bad way. Comfortable, organized and the staff seemed well trained.

WOW! I had the Chicken Korma and shared the garlic naan with my friend and I absolutely loved it all! The food was so delicious that I'll def in Italy be back to try their other dishes! We went on a Wednesday night at 5:30 and it was empty which made for a nice quiet setting to talk, with a nice and attentive server.

"This modest downtown fast casual restaurant has delicious food without frills or pretentiousness. Stop in for a quick sit-down meal or order food to go! We tried the chicken momos, paneer naan, Navratran biryani, and the chicken tikka lunch special. The momos were really great, and the hubs said they're just as good as what you can get back home in India. The dumpling wrapper is tender, the flavorful ground chicken filling is juicy, and the dipping sauce complements well. My chicken tikka was juicy, roasty, and tasty! The lunch portion is pretty small, so if you're hungry, you should probably get something in addition or order the regular portion. The navratran biryani is seasoned rice with golden raisins, cashews, and veggies...super delish and not too sweet! The paneer naan was sooo fresh, and the coriander chutney served alongside is herby and awesome. There are a couple drink fridges with canned and bottled drinks, and serve-your-own water in pitchers with refrigerated glasses.Put your worries aside and definitely try this place out. Your belly will be happy you did!"
"Another new dining option in the Old Market. If you're in the mood for some Indian fare, this place may have something for your craving. We really liked their Korma and Tikka Masala dish. We opted for the lamb, but have other protein choices. The garlic naan was also good and a great for dipping."
"Delicious Indian food (that's not very spicy) inside the Valero gas station! It's available only on Fridays for a few hours each for lunch and dinner. The Facebook page has the menu you can check out before heading over. Lines are long but the food is worth it! It's made for the taste of the locals (i.e. not spicy), but the flavor is still delish. The owner is super nice as well, so come support this family business and check out the food! You won't regret it!"
"Opting for take-out, our experience was great. I recommend the Butter Chicken. The Afghan Naan, although a very generous portion, didn't align with my taste. However, you get a lot of it. For a smaller group of 2 to 4, one order should suffice. In Omaha, where there's no shortage of excellent Indian restaurants, this establishment comfortably holds its ground among them. While the location might be a bit concealed, reminiscent of its proximity to the old Sushi Japan, it's at 144th & Center within the complex shared with Old Chicago Pizza."
"This is probably some of the best Indian food I've had in Omaha. Every person I dined with thought the food was incredible. The service, however, was somewhat lacking. All of the entrees came out at different times, which meant some people in the party felt awkward staring to eat before others. And it was difficult to flag down the waiter at the end of the meal for boxes and to pay. On the basis of how delicious the food was though, I will certainly be coming back or getting takeout in the future"
"Valentine's Day Dinner with My BrideNormally, I don't get caught up in the Hallmark holiday hype, but this year, we decided to enjoy a special meal--just a day early. We had some incredible Indian food, and the experience reminded me of what dining out used to be. The service was outstanding--so polite, so thankful. It was a refreshing change to be somewhere that truly appreciated its guests. Thank you, Rakshya for treating us so kindly. The food? Outstanding. From the rich flavors of the Lamb Vindaloo, to the perfectly cooked rice and the deliciously spiced momos, every bite was a reminder of why I love Indian cuisine. Even the naan was something special.A great night with even better company."
"Good food and outstanding service! A great option for dining if you're in the Gene Leahy mall area in downtown. A great selection of Indian bread as well as vegan options on their menu. I recommend the garlic naan and the lamb korma. Some parts of the place can use a little refresh, but overall a great spot to wine and dine."
"Taste of India delivered lunch via DoorDash recently. I was surprised by how quickly it arrived and it was piping hot! I ordered vegetable samosas, papadam, mulligatawny soup, and butter naan. I was given a choice of spice and chose the lowest one. The samosas were still a bit crunchy on the outside despite the styrofoam box, since they were delivered so quickly. The tasty potato pea filling was very good. The naan was foil-wrapped with four big pieces, also very good. I liked the soup too, with naan dipped in it. I'm saving some for later to dip with papadam. Papadam was a little blah alone, but many crackers are. The sauce was puzzling. It was bright green, almost fluorescent with not much flavor. It didn't add anything to any of the foods as I dipped them. If I order again, I'll skip the papadam, but everything else hit the spot."
"This Indian cafe was an excellent choice from amongst the array of eateries at North Park. My bro had tandoori chicken with medium spice which he really enjoyed. I had kadai vegetable curry that was at the lowest spice level. It was delicious and the spiciness was just right. We both had steamed rice and roti. The space is very bright with windows on two sides. One wall has a row of booths with tables and chairs providing the rest of the seating. I didn't pay much attention to the bar, so I'm not sure how well-stocked it is. There was a tv playing music videos from India. That was fun to watch but the music could have been a bit softer. If this was closer to my house, I would probably come here more often."
"Very very good Indian! A huge menu! Probably some of tho most authentic Indian I've had along with some of the best. WARNING-- they take their spice level seriously. They mean business. Nice place, clean and smells amazing when you walk in. Our server was great and brought more than enough water which was needed with the heat of the food! But so so good."
"The family wanted Indian food and they said Star Indian is the place to go. Large shared parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall. Our order was Samoas, Garlic Naan, Chicken Korma, and Chicken Tikka Marsala. Rajkeesh (sp?) took my take out order, was so friendly, offered me water while I waited. Great hospitality. The order also came with complimentary rice pudding and a fried doughball that was soaked in a honey mixture. The restaurant has a great dining room, bar and semi private large party area. I would love to return here. Ok, bye."
"Everything was so good! We had a new to the cuisine participant and he was instantly in love. Try the Korma"
"Another great visit to Kinaara! My friend and I are creatures of habit and ordered the same meal as last time, and it was just as good as we remembered. I also added a hot chai tea to my meal, and it was the perfect beverage for a winter evening. In addition to fabulous food, our server, Devin, was super attentive and upbeat. The whole experience was lovely!"
"Decided to door dash some Indian food and this place hit the spot. The medium spice had just enough for what I was wanting. Each dish come with rice which is nice. The rice was flagrant with saffron. It was very good. The chicken in the Saag chicken was tender. The korma was delicious. The garlic bread had a couple of inconsistencies in it (soft with crispy side, a little over cooked in one part), but overall it was still really good."
