"This was my first experience not only at Bungalow 8 but also at this type of hair salon as I have spent the last 40 years at places like Sports Clips, Great Clips etc. I decided to grow my hair out and finally felt I needed a more professional spot with greater talent. No offense to any other place as they have served me well for years. I called to make an appointment and as expected they are booked out pretty well but depends who you want to see. My wife recommended Elise. I was quite nervous coming into it and Elise did a fantastic job. Very easy going and helpful. I highly recommend her and will feel much more at ease for my next cut."

The staff did such a beautiful job especially accommodating the photographers. Make up turned out beautiful, all of the girls looked amazing. Staff was great and super friendly!!! Would definitely recommend for special events!!!"

She and another esthetician share a room in this salon (they work at different times in the day). Cara also provided me with a 20% coupon for my next visit there, which I have already redeemed. Past reviews on Yelp weren't very good and I did realize that the last review was back in 2018. I decided to take a chance and make an appointment. The facility looks clean and individual stations are leased by stylists. My stylist took the time to discuss how I wanted my hair to look, my type of hair texture, and how to best achieve the look I wanted. I've had average haircuts and one in a long while, I will get a real bad stylist. I was pleasantly surprised to get a great result and a person who took their time and frequently asked questions during the cut. I will most likely be returnimg back soon."

I really enjoyed getting my hair cut here with Clara. She moved away since I visited but I do think I will come here again and see another stylist for my haircuts. They use/sell bumble & bumble products which are my favorite. It was super easy and convenient to book an appointment here with their online system. My haircut turned out really nice and it was exactly what I asked for. The ambiance of the salon is very pleasing and they offer you a drink while you wait for your appointment. I'd recommend coming here for haircuts. It's also close by to Trader Joe's/Whole Foods for errands right after!

Marissa has been cutting my hair since I moved to Lincoln over two years ago. Her prices are more than reasonable, she's fun to talk to, and when I want to try something new and don't know what to do she always has the best ideas. Marissa recently did hair and makeup for my wedding, styling myself and my bridal party. She did an amazing job, was quick and efficient, and my makeup didn't budge all night even with the NE heat and humidity. Eve A Salon is beautiful and Marissa is the bomb, I won't go anywhere else to have my hair done!

This is four stars for what it is...an education facility. When you go anywhere to get your hair cut it's a risk. I have had multiple great experiences here with long layered cuts and fixes. I have long hair so if it gets screwed up it's less of an issue but the best part about coming her is you have a professional instructor who guides the student and fixes anything that that gets messed up. I had an expensive jacked up cut from a salon and I swear to you, it took them almost two hours to straighten it out here...and for only $8. I will never complain about that. They offer a large selection of products. I did try a pedi and gel manicure here once. Neither of them were very good. My cuticles weren't pushed back on either service so they didn't even look good for 3 days. You do get to pick and keep your polish so that's a good deal if you like doing your nails at home...but... the pedi look looked like a 4 year old did it and she didn't apply the base of the gel all over my nails for the manicure so my nails started peeling within 5 days. I have a gift certificate so I'll go again, but be more specific about what I want done. It's not worth the time or money otherwise.

Genevieve W. "Came here with a large wedding party for hair and makeup the day of the wedding. Jennifer did a nice job with my hair. It didn't need a lot but she made sure it was going to stay. Corinthia did a good job on my friends hair. Too bad her hair is super heavy and fell out just before the reception. It looked beautiful for pictures though.The pricing was pretty good. It did take longer but that is ok because the students are still learning. The teachers were pleasant but stretched for the amount of people we had in the party getting their hair and makeup done. Overall pretty good experience."
