"This is a 'go to' place for golf outings, it seems. And they really have it down... always have a good time here. The course is nicely groomed, and still plenty challenging (though for me, what's not when it comes to golf?)"
"I think this is a really beautiful course - it is pretty flat with lots of mature trees (providing much needed shade in summer months). I would describe the course as long for Omaha standards, a par 5, a bunch of par 4s and only a couple of par 3s. Overall, the course is pretty well maintained despite the fact that Omaha got 7 inches of rain in 3 days a couple of weeks back. The greens were fast. Only reason for 4 stars is one of the Marshals we came into contact with was nothing short of rude (somehow accused us of playing slow when we were waiting 10 minutes at each of the first 4 holes to tee off). Other Marshals were very polite and outgoing. Domestic beer prices were also great - $3.50 a piece."
"Great spot, great people and good food! Lucky to have this great course so close to home! The live music is truly awesome!!"
"Shoreline is one of my favorite local golf courses. Since it's close to both the river and the lake, you get a nice variety of wildlife and habitat, which is partially why I like golf in the first place. I've seen a variety of animals here, with the most recent being a bald eagle and baltimore oriole. The carts are all electric too, so as to not interfere with enjoying the aforementioned nature. Plus, you get some fantastic views of downtown Omaha from here. I think this would be a good place to bring 'out of towners' for that reason. And as for the golf... I think that it's a challenging course, but at the same time enjoyable enough and with enough variety to make it interesting enough to keep playing week to week."
"My husband and I had our wedding reception here several weeks ago and it was wonderful. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere nice and cozy, and the service staff attentive, but Dawn, the wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She single handedley saved me from a bridal meltdown the day before the wedding. The Friday before the wedding, I showed up at the Field Club with about 75% of my decorations ready and my ideas totally scattered. I spent months and months online searching for the perfect tabletop and the best lighting, but the day before the reception, I was stressed beyond belief and I no longer cared if my tabletops matched my theme or not. However, Dawn listened to my rambling and told me not to worry about a thing. She double-checked to see if I had eaten that day, and sent me off on my way feeling so much better about everything. Two hours later, I realized I had forgotten to create several important name cards and I sent her a quick email. She responded back that it wasn't a problem at all and she'd create something for them. When I showed up at the reception, I was amazed at what she had done to the room! She had totally transformed it! I later found out that she and her husband had sliced over 120 wine corks for me the night before the wedding! How is that for customer service?!?! If you're planning any sort of event, Dawn will totally take care of you! The room itself is beautiful (I also rented the Swing Room- it was perfect for all the Husker fans that wanted to sneak quick peaks of the game through out the night) and the outside deck is perfect if the weather is nice! All in all, highly recommended!!"
"This place is great! For younger kids, stick to one course. My 6 year old had a hard time with 36 holes. Wish they had beer, this would be a great date night activity for adults."
"fun place to go to. good food options to snack on. i've been many times and always had a good experience!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed this golf course. Never even knew it was here. It was clean, well kept and great staff. I enjoyed the variety in the holes."
"I absolutely love Adventure Golf Center. My husband and I found ourselves here so often in the summer, this year we new we needed to get season passes. The courses and landscaping are very taken care of no matter the season. Each course has super unique characteristics to each hole. The owners are so nice and staff members always have a smile. They go out of their way to learn their regulars names as well. This place is amazing for any age and any group size. Not to mention their Tropical Sno cart in the parking lot.... AMAZING. Love this place, it's a must-do. In fact, I'll probably go today!"
"This was the worst golf course I've ever played. Don't waste your money and your time. Greens hadn't been moved in a week and full of burnt out spots . Every tee box was like a swamp and torn up. We will never play this course again"
"New virtual golfing in the Capital District. There are two areas. One for memberships and the other on the west end of the district, which is where we were. There is regular golf and mini golf, each with several options. We played mini golf which was really fun! We had four people and played almost two hours. They serve drinks and you can order food from a restaurant in the district they have a connection with. It was clean and well organized with lots of separate areas for golfing. It's new so maybe not every detail has been thought about so I suggest coat hooks maybe by the bathrooms."
"This review is simply for the club house for an event I attended. The club house is very nice with a classy feel. They have a nice large bar and great set up for a variety of events. The staff here was extremely efficient and friendly and did a fantastic job getting drinks and just being good people I would recommend having an event here just from my limited experience."

I have worked at Player's Club for almost three years and the atmosphere is great! Most of the members really get along with each other and hang out outside the club. They remember our (the people that work there) names and treat us really well, so we make a point to treat them the same! I have made some lifelong friends at the Player's Club. It's a great job for someone who hasn't found a career yet and we make sure it's a great time for our members and guests! 5 stars for Player's Club!

I have driven past this place so many times and missed it! Sad because it is a gem in Omaha for golfers and fun enthusiasts alike. Not only does Miracle Hill offer 18 holes of golf, tennis and golf lessons, a restaurant, but it also has the Top Tracer lounge. This is about 10 indoor bays that face the outdoor driving range (think Top Golf). The bays are heated, with multiple television screens and games to play, much like Top Golf. There is a full bar with beer on tap, cocktails, and light food as well. It is done very well....more low key than Top Golf, but better suited for those who actually enjoy golf as you hit off the ground level only and the range has standard golf pins.Great place for a date night, group outing, or just golf practice!Tip: during covid, you must bring your own clubs.#ThankYouThursday

I came out to Country Drive for a concert but we had time to kill so we hit some balls at the driving range. It's a very pretty course. If you didn't know where you were you could easily think you're out in phx, or palm springs the way the bluffs around the area look. Wasn't too expensive, and the ladies in the club house are super sweet!

I'm a fan of the driving range! I have never played the course so I have no comments for that from personal experience, but many friends have found it to be challenging and fun, while affordable for students, or people who like golf but don't have access to some fancy private club. Just a nice, well maintained course for a fun morning or afternoon without the frills. The buckets are affordable to just hit balls once a week or so, and the staff that I have encountered so far have been friendly (unlike some of the reviews complaining about rude staff). They allow dogs at the driving range ON-leash. We have taken our well behaved dog and let him off leash (I like the test the limit when it comes to the pup), he wanders around the trees out of the way and lays in the shade, staff has seen him and I got no reprimanding. That's enough for 4 stars for me. I'm thrilled to find a low key place that lets us both enjoy the outdoors.

I'm from Omaha. My husband is from Utah. We live in California. :) So, when we recently got married, we wanted to have a reception to celebrate with all of our family and friends in Omaha. The Field Club fit our needs perfectly. We were able to choose from a wide variety of food and beverages for our guests, and the space we chose was spacious, yet intimate. They provided us with microphones, slide projectors, and just made everything so easy!Dawn (their new event coordinator) is wonderful. She transitioned into the job only a week or two before our event. Because of this, she did a thorough check up to make sure we were all on the same page, and went above and beyond to make sure the afternoon ran smoothly. Excellent customer service from both her and her wait staff. :)

Took my 11 and 13 year old grandkids. We had a fantastic time! This course is not for a miniature golf purist, it's much more of an adventure. 18 indoor holes, all varied in delightful ways. Zip line and maze games add to then fun. The theme is carried throughout. Clubs are available for any age of player. We look forward to taking on their companion courses, Pirate Putt and Medieval Putt.

Great spot to hang out with some friends. The food is delicious and typically bar food. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, and it was good. I was there on a Friday night, and it was busy. If you really like golf, t his is a spot for you. They have five golf simulators, which is cool to watch or play.

This is a nice course and I enjoy living nearby! I've got to hand it to the maintenance crew for doing a consistently good job of upkeep. The greens are in spectacular shape this year, they really roll fast and true. The layout is relatively challenging and forces you to use just about every club in the bag. Rates are decent, you will pay (with cart) $24 for nine holes and $36 for 18 during the week. Weekend rates are a few dollars higher. They are busy most of the time so walking on is not recommended. I have not been forced to pair with another group here.

"One of Lincoln's oldest and best courses. If you don't believe me come see four yourself."
"This course is fun and has a good variety of holes and the back nine is really scenic. It is well run and the staff is friendly."
"We recently came here with my whole family for vacation and it was just like visiting when we were kids. Back then, we used to come here just for the day or so since we lived nearby in Elkhorn. They've got all kinds of things to do - camping, trails for hiking, a water park, mini golf, tons of playgrounds, the main lodge for events and so on. I remembered it fondly from childhood, but the experience is WAY different as an adult. In terms of the whole stay - we had a few hiccups. My parents had a reception for their wedding anniversary, and we didn't receive any of the centerpieces we'd ordered. In general, everything was laid back -- which is nice on the one hand, but frustrating when you're trying to coordinate an event. Once we checked into our cabins, I was looking forward to some quiet time - but WOW. I don't think the beds have been upgraded since the 80s when we were originally here. My back hurt so badly after a few days of sleeping on this bed that I was taking ibuprofen on the reg just to stay functional. Couldn't sleep more than 6 hours without waking up it was so uncomfortable. With your park stay, you'd think you get passes or something to attend any of the events onsite -- but everything is extra. So if you want to go to the water park, it's $10 for the day per person. Mini golf? Per person per round. And you have to buy a parking pass on top of all of that just to park your car. It felt like it should be a kind of all-inclusive kind of vacation, but then became a lot of nickel and diming.I'm glad we did this for the nostalgia - but would I do it again? Probably not. I'd rather stay somewhere in Omaha with better accommodations, restaurant choices, and things to do."
"We golfed Grandpas Woods with some friends this past week and had a great time. There is new management and it is working well. It was our first time there but heard others remarking how nice the improvements are. You can judge a lot about a business by bathroom cleanliness and attention to details. Jake is a Rockstar and things were spotless. Want to support your local businesses at fair prices with people that appreciate it, I suggest Grandpas Woods highly. Golf course is on an improvement track also, but was in great shape for the price. 4 of us with carts for less than $100 is a deal anywhere."
"We have lived on the Knolls golf course for six years now. Since the city took it over two years ago there has been an enormous improvement. The course is much better maintained. The one area where I think some investment needs to be done is on the cart paths. Those are still pretty rough. This is a nice/casual course to play with reasonable prices. We always enjoy it when we get out there. There is a nice mix of long and short holes however be prepared for some distance on the back nine!"
"This is a great place to come sit down, relax, meet some locals, have a beverage and bite and play Keno. Owners are really cool and you can't beat Taco Tuesday and the awesome Prime Rib Friday's. Sometimes I even treat myself to a ribeye. You can count on both always being cooked to perfection. During the day grab yourself a game of golf or hit some balls while enjoying some beverages, burgers, hotdogs or snacks from the clubhouse. The course is unique with challenging fairways, great views and elevations. I promise you won't be disappointed!"
"We had our wedding here in November and it could not have been more perfect! Becky, Jason, and all of the event staff were so helpful in the 12 months of planning and answered every phone call and email in a timely manner and never appeared annoyed (despite how many annoying questions I may have asked). The day if we were allowed to go in as early as we wanted to set up and everything was perfect. My husband and his groomsmen played golf that morning while the girls were in the beautiful bridal suite getting ready. The outside ceremony site is gorgeous! The inside reception space was set up exactly as we had discussed. Not to mention how amazing the meal was! We had multiple people tell us it was the best meal they've had at a wedding. I cannot thank everyone at tiburon enough for helping make our wedding day go so smooth and for helping it be the best day ever!"
"Great set up. If you're an extremely serious golfer, you may not like this course because there are few challenges but it's a great option for most. The course is flat so easy to walk if you want. The golf pace was very well managed. We weren't pushed and didn't have to wait. The food, while not super great, is fun and priced right. The breakfast food is really pretty good. To top it off, we were able to pop over to the casino after the round. Great outing."
"We had lunch before running a training class, and EVERYTHING was amazing. Mains were amazing, the salads were envied, and the service was superb. One of the members told us of her experience with crab cakes and happy hour wine. Large portions and tasty for a great price.I can't speak to the cost as I was treated, but the value was certainly there. I plan to run more events there when I can. Thanks!"
"Whether with your children, alone, or a gathering of friends, Oak Hills is great. Outstanding service and excellent food. We joined socially for our summers with the kids by the pool. And all 3 children, a variety of ages (9, 4, & 2) have fun at the various events. Cheers!"
"Hands down the most beautiful course I have ever played. Exceptionally well maintained, greens in outstanding condition and the scenery is phenomenal. The course is nice and secluded as well. Now, the course is challenging, most holes 400+ yards with lots of hills, bunkers and a handful of water hazards. Do yourself a favor and pack some extra golf balls because you will lose more than a few unless you are a scratch golfer. After your round enjoy a drink on the patio of their beautiful club house a take it all in. Not a cheap course but definitely worth the money to check it out at least once."
"I recently dusted off the old clubs and headed for a quick 9 at Warren Swigert with my brother and his fiance. Now, it had been about 10 years since I played ball golf (I'm more of discer), but this little city course was a nice reintroduction to the sport.Overall, the course is well maintained (it was a little soggy due to all the rain) and was a breeze to play through. Quite a few of the holes were super short though, and only required a pitching wedge from the tee. Still, I'd say it's definitely worth the $11 fee to play. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things at a few more local courses."
"My family and I tried to use their driving range on memorial day, and they were out of balls...what range runs out of balls?"
"Course is flat and in great shape with pretty views of the lake. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. It generally is pretty busy but we played 9 in an 1 & 1/2 hours. Would come back for sure."
"This is a beautiful par 3 tucked away behind Center street. Lots of beautiful trees, small creeks, etc. and the course is well maintained. Our daughter also takes lessons here 3x a week so we are here frequently. I have one major gripe, and yes, I am going to play the sexist card, the scorecards do not list the distances to the hole for the women's tees. Yes, they have women's tees but only list distance for the men. This was very maddening for me. The clubhouse is pretty bare bones but has reasonably priced items. Tee off is a bit of a free for all on the weekend with no Marshall and walk-ins welcome but it seemed to all work out after a hole or two. It is a family friendly place so don't expect to play the round quickly unless you come during the week."
"Course has really matured over the years. The greens are in fantastic shape!!!! They are being rolled as I type. The views are spectacular! Tough layout...but tee boxes available for different skill levels. Bunkers are a little rough & could use some refresher of sand. Pretty reasonable rates when compared to similar courses in Omaha."
"So here's the deal, I have golfed since I was seven years old, and while I do not get the opportunity to play nearly as much as I would like to I would like to think that I have a decent perspective of what a good golf course is and what isn't. Ironhorse is absolutely amazing! The views are breathtaking and this is probably my new favorite course. The hazards are a good challenge but not overly difficult to navigate, a good balance. Even the sand traps are well-maintained and appear to have proper draining systems so that you don't have water sitting in those bunkers making a muddy mess. The fairways and greens are well-maintained. I believe the Teebox and green on the fifth hole were a little bit rough, and could use a little bit of work, but otherwise everything was in excellent condition.Nice mix of long and short holes, some straight shots, others dog leg. Definitely worth a trip to Ashland!"
"Indian Creek is a privately-owned, daily fee 27-hole course, with self-described "challenging greens and spectacular views." There's plenty of water, bunkers, large mounds coming into play as well, so for me being a mediocre-poor golfer it's plenty challenging, but also just nice to hang out on the course as well during those double-par moments. Since it's in Elkhorn, you get that nice 'remote' feeling as well (even though, yes you're still surrounded by houses).I've played here all of six times now, and honestly every time is still different. For a more experienced (i.e. better) golfer, I'm sure it's much more fun and maybe even a little more consistent."
"I LOVE Stone Creek. I've golfed every one of their courses and even as a novice golfer the courses are challenging but not impossible! I've been taking lessons with Drake for a few months now and he's great! Very encouraging and always knows what to tweak to make your hits better. Also the drinks here are top notch. The Bloody Mary is literally one of the best I've ever had. It has to be the "spicy" one. It's really not spicy but they infuse the vodka and it's absolutely delicious! The margarita is also one of the best I've ever had! Again it has to be the "spicy" margarita that uses infused vodka with pineapple and jalapeño but it really isn't spicy. Try them both you won't be sorry! The patio is such a great place to sit and have a drink after golfing a round."
"Wow! What a difference 3 months makes! The first time I tried the Mexican Night here (Previous review dated 5/25/16) it was outstanding! I went back tonight for takeout and it was a sad, sad experience. Sides were less than half the portion and tasted like warmed up Old El Paso. The Enchiladas that took up an entire styrofoam take out container and were smothered in melted cheese, fresh lettuce, and a wonderful homemade salsa were less than half the size, soggy from swimming in some watery approximation of mole' and filled with unseasoned ground beef. A good thing gone horribly bad. Too bad, it WAS really good."
"I believe this is the best public course in Nebraska. I played it for the first time in the fall when the leaves were changing colors and the entire course was still in magnificent condition. They also had discounted rates due to the time of year and that made it very affordable. Hole 6 is so beautiful, I stood on the tee box for at least five minutes before I decided how I wanted to play it. I can't wait to go back, golf is so much more enjoyable when you play with spectacular surroundings like those you'll find at Woodland Hills."
"Good Muni Course.....Good variety of holes with #2 being a real tough hole that requires a perfect tee shot. A couple of Long par 4's can play tough on a windy day and not a lot of trees to work around.Pricing is very reasonable, around $13 for 9 holes.Greens- 6Fairways-Tee Boxes- 6Walking Difficulty- 6Tee it up!!!"
"This is one of the best city golf courses in Omaha. I've played a few times here now on golf league night. Formerly Applewood Golf Course, it's long (the four par 5's average 516 yards!) where you can tee it high and let it fly! The greens are tough and humbling; where it looks to break left and it doesn't or the infamous putting green that has a hill on it. Putt with a little too much umph and it will keep rolling and rolling. On all of the par 3's, you have to hit over water. There are apartments and houses that are fenced along the way so make sure to be accurate with your shots.Sand traps are strategically placed where getting in one is easy; but getting out is a different story. I prefer to stay out of them. Overall, a fantastic course that's well maintained."
