"DELICIOUS burgers and fries in Omaha Nebraska. The lancer was delicious and filling I loved every bite! The heat sauce here is amazing and goes great with the fries! They have a food truck too they travel with. Awesome service you won't be disappointed! :)"
"I was finally able to sneak into this hidden gem here near downtown Lincoln! First of all, the owner Nick is really cool to talk to! Very down to earth people here as expected, with great service. The inside decor is really cool and vibrant on entrance! The outside front looks cool too! Well, getting down to the food and drink now... I ordered the Brisket Breakfast Burrito with Avocado crema sauce inside! Awesome mouth-watering best brisket Burrito I have ever tasted yet!!! I love their red and green salsas, which I had on the side. The lovely lady at the counter made me an iced Golden Graham latté. Such a wonderfully made coffee drink! Love all about this place. Be back again soon! Please stop by here if you haven't yet or if coming from out of town!!!"
"We're traveling and wanted to meet a friend for dinner. He suggested Mary Ellen's. I'm so glad he did! This is soul food and you can tell the food is made with love. Everything sounded good, we had a hard time deciding. Hubby ordered the fried catfish, baked beans, and mac'n cheese. I ordered the hot butter wings, greens, and mac'n cheese. Everything was delicious. We talked with the owners and they were very nice people. Great service! We'll definitely be back when we're in Lincoln. I highly recommend. Food: 5/5Facility: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5, not fancy dining, just good foodValue: 5/5, great food for a reasonable price"
"Our visit to 402 BBQ left a little more to be wanted. They were set up at the Mastercraft building in N. Downtown, and there was a little craft fair going on at the time as well as live music and an "open house" for some of the business there. We wanted to try as many things as we could on the menu between the two of us, so we ordered the brisket and pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese on top, and sausage/brat with mac and cheese. Perhaps we got there just a little too late, but the food was luke warm when served to us and seemed like the end of the day type service too. The speed was also surprising, I was handed my meal to me immediately as I was paying. Almost TOO quickly. I understand it was BBQ but that was too fast.As far as the brisket and the pulled pork- A OK! Nothing to write home about but certainly not bad in the least. The sausage/brat was just a disappointment to me, I thought the casing was rubbery and not snappy, and the temperature was too cold for my taste.I'd give it a try again, but this time I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be."
"My second visit for take out. I had their Greek salad again and it is as good as I remembered. Fresh, tasty and plenty for linch or dinner. Absolutely recommend!"
"Tasty organic smoothies and bowls. Smoothie Truck is a healthy and tasty alternative to a full meal. Great selection of smoothies and bowls. My wife found this truck some time ago, but only recently dropped in for a trail. Truck has been open for 5 1/2 years. Must be doing something right. So far we have tried the Sweet Green (spinach, mango, pineapple, banana, organic coconut milk), the Beast (vanilla or chocolate with organic plant protein, berries, banana, acai, sunflower butter, dates and organic coconut milk), and the Berry White (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas and organic coconut milk). Also tried the MaHalo Bowl (organic mango sorbet, topped with organic granola, blueberries, strawberries, banana, honey and shredded coconut). These were all delicious. Not inexpensive, but definitely filling and healthy.Well worth a try. Go and hunt the truck down off of 84th Street in the parking lot where Small Cakes and Saint Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop are located. Hard to miss the big blue truck."

I love trying unique places and this certainly fits the bill. Hyde's is tucked in a small little plaza. If you didn't know it was there, you would totally miss it.While they seem to be know for their burgers, we went with a wrap. The snoop has crispy chicken, bacon jam, waffles pieces and peppers. It was everything I'd want from a breakfast wrap...minus the peppers. It was $11 and comes with fries. For $5 more you can supe you fries...which we went with the banh mi. A ton going on here, but really the highlight was the steak and fries. Totally worth it and huge portions. I added a drink for $2. I love that they are Coke products. All and all, I think this place has real potential. Can't wait to try the burgers next time!

I would like to start this with saying this was from the Omaha Muchachos before they closed! Either way either location, the food was always fantastic, everything was always quick and hot! The first time we went they were SLAMMED, they actually turned people away because they needed to get through their orders already taken before taking more! Happy we got in before them! The Hatch Mac quesadilla and burrito was fire, we always got "all the toppings", which had a lot of flavor that brought the meat and mac n cheese together as one. We will miss you here in Omaha, but now we know where to eat in Lincoln.

I was so especially happy to find this place. Since I don't live in Lincoln I don't know where to find the black owned businesses. So SCORE!!! There's no donate out from yet, but it's right on the corner, suite B. I'll update my review after I've tasted the food, but I can say the prices are very very reasonable $5.99 for meat and a side. The music they play is amazing, it would be a great place to eat in, the music gives it a great vibe. Insider's tip, it's not on the menu, but they have collard greens, so don't forget to ask.

Maybe it was just an off day or something but I stopped here to grab a quick snack for lunch in between beers and tried the special of the day meatball sandwich. Overall, meh. It was actually on the cold side, given it was cold outside I didn't expect a scalding hot sandwich but luke warm would have been nice. The flavor was decent but I'll pass next time I see the truck.

Good food--tangy, savory, high quality. Good service--friendly, engaging. Nice atmosphere--bar, games to play, energizing. Well priced-- good cost to serving. It's the whole package. Loving me some Mediterranean food.

I wandered over to the Smoothie Truck one Sunday after attending yoga class at Genesis next door. It seemed like the natural progression of things. The avocado toast may seem pricey at first glance, but the ones I got at least were rather large portions, and had some pretty fancy toppings like goat cheese and honey. The bread is that really thick cut whole grain toast with bits of "better for you" in it, the kind that really makes you feel good about your choices, not just toast-wise but life in general. The avocados are smashed in-truck.I ordered two avocado toasts to go, the mexican style one off the regular menu, and a goat cheese one off the specials menu. They survived the trip home just fine in their boxes, and I was able to share this millennial revelation with my husband. We found both toasts to be excellent, though my favorite was the special. The name escapes me, but I hope it makes another appearance on the menu. Naturally, I had to try a smoothie as well. I ordered the starburst one, and it did not survive the trip home. Should have bought two, I guess. It was so good!! It really did kind of taste like the candy. But again, better for you. Like I could have had a bag of candy, but I had a smoothie instead, ok? I'm trying to make good choices here!Definitely check out the smoothie truck, you'll love it! Namaste, you guys.

Overall this is an excellent option for what really is more or less fast food. They use good quality ingredients and do an excellent job. The staff is friendly and genuinely cares. They are very helpful with gluten free needs and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back for sure. The tater tots are a must try and the pulled pork nachos were quite tasty. I would eat that meatloaf sandwich all over again, very good. Of course sharing space with Ted and Wally's makes getting ice cream a must.

Great local food truck, so glad we finally got to try it! Everything was freshly made, flavorful, and better then expected. Hands down one of the better Mexican food stops in Omaha! If you haven't been here take the time and stop by!

"Ran into this food truck at a concert at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. First up, they take the green in their name seriously -- you'll find locally sourced produce and hormone free meats. They both cook with and power their truck with compressed natural gas. Their utensils and containers are eco friendly as well. On to the food. You'll find a variety of sandwiches featuring smoked meats and veggies, plus sides like cole slaw, mac and cheese, and tater tots. I took what I thought was a risk by ordering the smoked veggie sandwich, which was various veggies, hummus, and mozzarella on a ciabatta bun. It exceeded my expectations. It was smoky, with just the right amount of crunch. Top it was a little of their house made sauce and it definitely gave me some needed energy on a blisteringly hot Friday evening. If you see the Big Green Q truck out and about, stop on by for a delicious and eco-friendly casual meal."
"Great Mexican food truck located just south of 132nd and Q. I live in Lincoln but a friend of mine from Omaha has been telling me I need a visit this spot for a couple months. Finally had the opportunity to swing by for lunch and was not disappointed. Not a huge menu, but quality dishes across the board. My Abbado burrito was massive and delicious, and cost eight bucks. The house salsa that came with it was fresh and unique. It's a pretty low-key establishment. I couldn't find hours of operation or a functioning website. But they do have a Facebook page with their menu and some contact information. Sounds like they also cater."
"I was hungry for pad Thai last night, and wanted to be adventurous. I heard about Pim's and set my mind to get there! Boy oh boy am I glad I did!I had the best Pad Thai of my life, and I have had a lot of it! I got the shrimp because, Friday, LOL. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, not chewy and rubbery like some places presented to you. Tender shrimp cooked to perfection, the amount noodles-to-vegetables---totally on point. Cannot fully express just how fabulous it was. I endured driving home with the smell tempting my taste buds and admittedly the last thing on my mind was taking a picture when I placed it in the counter. I even called back and asked to talk to the Chef and told him that it was "perfect."This is a little gem, a little hole in the wall set in a northwest strip mall that I hope more people discover I will support this young couple to the moon and back!"
"Oh boy, is this GOOD!!!! Greek salad and a chicken shawarma. So tasty and fresh. I could literally eat this every day. I unwrapped the shawarma and put the ingredients on the salad. Great job!"
"Love the taco truck... though this is my preferred location. Tacos, burritos, tortas, all affordable and amazaliscious. Yep, that's a word. You can apparently call ahead, but the wait isn't too bad. Cash preferred."
"We stopped for a quick bite to eat. We both had a smoked brisket taco. It was very good with cilantro sour cream and a sweet chili sauce. My friend doesn't like cilantro but she said it was such a small amount in the sour cream that it was good. The sweet chili sauce was a great flavor for the taco!!! A bit pricey for a taco. A small menu easy to decide. Only bottle soda, no fountain. There isn't anywhere to sit inside but there are a couple chairs and tables outside and it was a nice evening to sit outside and it is in the shade. Service was quick and they will bring your food outside to you. I would probably go again for a snack!"
"Pomodoro's was the "Food Truck Friday" feature on August 13th at Elk Creek Crossing and the opportunity to avoid cooking on Fridays is always appealing. We traveled a few blocks for fresh homemade Italian dishes, along with a number of neighbors who had the same idea. Arriving at 5:45-shortly after the 5:30 start time, we were surprised at the line that quickly multiplied with families taking advantage of the great weather and playground equipment that kept the young ones occupied.A wide variety of menu options were available including fresh pasta with a choice of alfredo, marinara or meat sauce. Meatball, brats and Italian sausage subs topped the sandwich offerings. Hamburgers and fries were offered but I didn't see or hear anyone ordering from the grill. A children's menu and family feast were also listed on the hand lettered menus taped to the truck. I ordered the fresh pasta with meat sauce and added a meatball. My husband opted for the Italian sausage sub with potato salad. My entree came with a breadstick and the meat sauce was so packed with meat that I probably could have skipped the added meatballs. My husband raved about his Italian sausage sandwich and I was impressed that they wrapped the bun in foil to keep it from soaking up sauce on the trip home. We had a short 5-7 minute wait for our meals which was delivered in foam takeout containers. Plastic napkin wrapped silverware was available for those eating in the park. The young lady taking orders was well equipped for the crowd and kept the line moving very efficiently. Credit cards were accepted and someone from the kitchen shouted a "thanks for coming" as we exited with our order. Food truck Friday is a welcome addition in our neighborhood and Pomodoro's did not disappoint."
"Don't let the dingy dive bar fool you!!We ordered a Rosenblatt and Nebraska Heat burger and upgraded our fries to the loaded surf and turf while on a drive cross country. The fries as they were DELICIOUS!!However, upgrading them made them BEYOND OUT IF THIS WORLD.The burgers were absolutely the best we've ever had. 5 guys.Smash burgers Habit, Shake Shack - Ya'll need a crash course in burger making Truly something extraordinary and special, and we will be back!!!!"
