"We went on a holiday and they were extremely busy. However, they have everything down to a science and are extremely efficient, so we didn't have to wait very long. The service was excellent, all the staff seemed very seasoned and professional, while also being warm and friendly. I had the Reuben sandwich with a side of coleslaw; both were absolutely delicious! My friend tried a chicken and waffle combination that was equally tasty. This place is always a top pick for me!"
"Brother suggested we stop here for brunch while in the area. Glad we did! It was fabulous!Starting with no wait, followed by a wonderful waitress and food.I had the Chicken Parm sandwich, which was really good, the fries were cooked to perfection, crispy and soft in the middle. My brother had the Chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrown and a pancake. We both dabbled in a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. We waited a bit for this but it was worth it! Definitely made fresh!Everything was hot and delicious. Fell in love with our waitress and can't wait to go back to see her and try some other dishes."

"Stopped for lunch on our way through Lincoln. Wanted lunch fare in a quick restaurant style way. This was perfect. You order at the counter, find your table, then your meal is delivered to your table. We wanted a soup salad or soup half sandwich type lunch. They didn't have that on the menu, instead we ordered a full club sandwich with a cup of soup on the side plus an extra cup of soup, Wah-lah soup and half a sandwich for two. Sandwich was good. Lots of turkey, crispy bacon, fresh veggies. Soup was good as well, curly egg noodles and chicken. Refillable fountain soda as well so we got one for the road. Loved the old time coolers, ovens, toys, etc that they had all around. Fun retro-vibe spot."
"OMG can I just take a moment to RAVE about this place? We were in the area and picked it based off Yelp reviews and our dining group dynamics. This always feels like a risky venture when you're deciding on an unknown (to you) place for a bunch of other people; it can be pretty hit and miss. But this place was a HIT. The menu is surprisingly extensive for a diner, with tons of unique options that still represent classic American tastes. We had a big group but were immediately seated in the back room, which gave our group's rambunctious kiddos a little space to get out the wiggles. They have kids menus and crayons! Service was super speedy with all those little touches - we ordered a lot of lemonades so they brought a carafe for easy self-refills. Appetizers and salads and entrees were timed perfectly and everyone's food came out at the same time.Speaking of appetizers, you must try the spinach dip! Sooo good and not huge portions, so it won't spoil your meal (although still enough to share with others). I ordered one of their wraps, and that special crispy cheese on the outside was just amazing.Kids meals came with ice cream and sprinkles so the kids were in heaven.Hopefully I'm not setting the bar too high for this place, but we just had an incredible experience. Those reviews that call this place a gem, they are not wrong."
"Came into Coney Island Lunch Room around 9:00 on a Saturday morning. You could tell that the gentlemen sitting at the counter with the coffee and the newspaper were regulars and I bet I could find them there most Saturday mornings. Alas, we were tourists just passing through here for breakfast which would include a hot dog (naturally). I sheepishly asked our server if their hot dogs were available that early. Laughingly, she assured me they were. We ordered fried eggs, toast, bacon and I got a hot dog with chili and mustard. I watched as the hot dog was quickly thrown together, all of the ingredients in the front of the shop and ready to serve. The hot dog was good. Very soft bun with tasty flavor with a depth of flavor that I really liked. I enjoyed the rest of breakfast too. Eggs cooked just right. Bacon had a soft chew that I actually like but I think others might want it a big crispier. Service was great especially on a busy morning as they were getting ready for their annual hot dog eating contest a few hours after we visited."
"The folks working here are very kind and personable! The food was good, the service was good! Y'all come see them if you're looking for that good standard 2 egg breakfast! Eggs cooked perfectly, Crispy hashbrowns, and a nice ham steak! Wife had bacon and it was nice and crisp."
"Super friendly spot right off the interstate. Great burgers and specials. If you like hot roast beef like the 50's diners, this is your place. And homemade pie! Plus the waitress is adorable."

We came in for our first "done in" experience recently, and I have to say, I was underwhelmed overall. We have another local breakfast spot we typically frequent, but we were lured away when I noticed JoJo's has chilaquiles on their menu. As a casual diner, I expected it to be used to having a few kids around, but the general vibe felt a little like "why are you here with children?" Please tell me other moms know what I mean? The wait wasn't bad, but our server didn't seem like he was stoked to be around that morning. The food itself was fine - the flavors on the Nashville hot waffle plate didn't seem to hit the usual bar, the chilaquiles felt more breakfast nacho-y than simmered, tender corn tortilla like I'm used to. The prices were pretty average against other Omaha spots, but overall it just felt like our time there was pretty lackluster and I don't think we will rush back.

Hi-Way Diner is a "home town" diner in a city. The ambiance is great, like it's something out of the 1950s -- Mayberry-ish. You enter, order your food and drinks, grab your silverware and sit down. No matter how busy they are, the food comes quickly. It's always more than you ordered. I order the no. 4, 2 eggs, breakfast meat, and "magic toast." It comes with a third egg. I like the marble rye for my "magic toast."The wait staff is great. They're friendly and attentive, quick with coffee and water.

What makes this place is the people. I loved the atmosphere, very neat and clean and comfortable. You could go business casual and have a nice meal or wear blue collar work clothes and still feel comfortable. The owner is engaged and very friendly. His care and attitude show with the staff. My waitress was prompt and friendly with the perfect amount of attention. The food was good too. I was looking for a tenderloin sandwich and Tish did not disappoint. The onion rings were not my favorite but not an issue, it was the sandwich I was looking for. If back in town, I will go back. Tish recommends the double cheeseburger so that is my order next visit!

Being from a town where Coney Island hot dogs are a staple, I stumbled upon this spot while walking into town and going antique shopping. I decided to give it a shot and see. Though there are similarities in technique, the execution is different than what I am used to. This spot uses yellow mustard rather than spicy brown mustard. Also the onions are more diced than the thinly chopped I am used to. The sauces seemed the same as usual - and their chocolate shake was goodPlace is a hole in the wall (not a bad thing), and the guy who runs it was talkative and hospitable. I liked it overall. Would come back- if, I ever were to come back.

"I probably don't come here often enough for as close as it is to my workplace. That said I got the Southwest Chicken salad today. The line for the drive thru was long (almost out onto Farnam Street!) so I just ran inside and placed my order to go at the counter. I see now that like many restaurants these days, one can order online in advance and then swoop in to pick it up. I think I'll do that next time. The staff was quick and friendly and also generous with the condiments like salsa and chipotle ranch. For $7.99 I had a good lunch that was healthy and filling. I didn't get one today but they have really good cookies, too!"
"The best place in town for breakfast. They have been around for 40+ years. Good after church breakfast with family!"
"We found Jojo's after driving past it over the weekend and decided to stop in for lunch, and wow are we glad we did! It's right across from the Eagle Run Golf Course, so it's hard to miss. The atmosphere is a very relaxed vibe, with big open space and casual music. It has a brunch feel, but offers full menu options! My wife and I decided to share two entrees so we could try a few different things. They had a fried chicken honey biscuit slider special that we couldn't say no to, and my wife wanted to try the coconut chicken salad. First the sliders: Hot, fresh and homemade biscuits topped with a honey glaze filled with fried chicken, bacon, egg and cheese. What's more to love? They were some of the best chicken sliders we've ever had!The chicken salad is on their normal menu and was a semi typical garden salad, but their coconut chicken is what makes this salad stand out. Flaky, coconut breaded chicken slices complete this salad out making it very filling. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit. Service was excellent and the food was extremely fresh and delicious. We will be back to try other menu options soon!"
"We came to Three C's Diner today while trying to complete the Iowa Pork Producers Tenderloin Trail. This was our sixth stop along the trail and we've really had a good time sampling some of Iowa's finest pork tenderloins! We arrived in a busy Corning late this morning but were happy to see there wasn't a big crowd waiting to get in at Three C's. We walked in to what I could a typical small town Iowa eatery - nothing fancy here, which almost always equates to really good food. They have your basic menu, including a full ice cream menu and have a special for the day. The prices are quite good. Two of us ate for under $25 for two sandwiches, a malt and two sodas. As I mentioned, we came for the tenderloins. I got a breaded one and my dad ordered the grilled version. These are some GREAT tenderloins? They're pretty thick, juicy and delicious so make sure you come hungry! The raspberry malt was great! The menu has salads, hamburgers, tenderloins, ice cream and all the typical food you'd find at a small town eatery. Don't quote me on this but I believe they serve breakfast as well. The service was friendly as to be expected. Our waitress was attentive and professional, not to mention very polite. We highly recommend Three C's Diner. Don't expect to be blown away by the atmosphere of the restaurant but expect the food to be REALLY good!"
"Took my family to breakfast here this past Saturday. I've heard great things from friends and had been to the bar portion years ago but wanted to come back to try the breakfast everyone raves about. The menu is full of delicious breakfast options as well as lunch and dinner options and they have a kids menu with activities and crayons for the kids to stay busy. We ordered a couple larger breakfast skillet type items and a few kids items. The food was really good and our waitress was awesome. The food was hot and fresh and came out fast. For breakfast options in CB I would still rank Duncans/legends and Main Street above Sugars but I would definitely keep this place in mind for a great breakfast option and will definitely be back."
"Stopped in for a late Sunday breakfast. I really like this place! It is a total hole in the wall with friendly old fashioned service! I felt as if I was eating in a small town diner. I'd say it reminded me of Mel's Diner (TV show), but this place was not as fancy as Mel's Diner!!It wasn't too busy when we arrived. Grabbed a booth that still needed cleaned off. Our waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink. She then wiped off our table with a very wet rag, and then tossed our napkins onto the soaking wet table. Eesh. Had to use our napkins to dry off the table! Anyway...we laughed that off. There are a ton of knickknacks all over this place. Between that and the menus all over the walls, there was not a lack of things to look at!We stuck with the basic eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns. My eggs came out a touch overdone, but nothing I'd complain about. Bacon was crispy and I asked for my hash browns to be crispy, and they were perfect! Everything was good...prices and quality very comparable to 11-Worth Café! We also ordered sides of biscuits and gravy, and a blueberry pancake. Both were tasty! For many this place would be just too casual for them, but for many folks that are looking for a decent meal that is cheap and quick...this is your place! Friendly service and good grub. I'd like to come back and try something for lunch. They have several lunch/dinner items that sound good! Oh...and cash only!"
"I came to eat here a few times while I was on vacation in Atlantic. A quiet and nice town, this place seems to be the best place to eat in the area, not just in Atlantic! The first time around I ordered their 6 oz sirloin and 3-piece shrimp. I ordered it well-done and paired with the A1 steak sauce, made it better. It was very juicy and the three-piece shrimp is done very well, crisped just right! The meal also includes one trip to their salad bar, boy they make a good coleslaw here and their beer-battered fries are out of this world, very addicting and the best fries ever, paired with a nice pepsi made this a great dinner. The service was alright, it was a quiet Monday night not many folk in here at the time so it was nice having some peace and quiet, compared to where I am from LOLThe other dishes I had here while staying in Atlantic were the Hot Beef Sandwich with sweet potato fries. They serve the most natural fries here as they are also cut and sliced here, with no added seasonings, by far more natural than a chain. I also ordered a pepsi. I went during their lunch hours twice which was almost packed. If you don't want to wait, then come in after their lunch hours, otherwise its hustle and bustle for everyone during the lunchtime.Their patty melt I ordered one of the other times was the best I've ever had in my life. Normally I am used to big greasy melts that ooze grease and cheese but personally, the way they make them here is out of this world. Nice firm meat, nicely melted cheese, served on marbled rye, yummy! I also ordered beer battered fries again as those are amazing again. From what I heard, management is very fussy with that they deliver to their valued customers, which is rare to see that in a restaurant. The fact that they want the highest quality products shows in the taste of their food. This is probably the best locally owned restaurant/diner I have ever been to and I live in a major city, not to mention their prices are a deal compared to city restaurant prices I am used to! If you travel through or visit Atlantic or near, I highly recommend coming here for their top-notch food. I know I can't wait to come back, this will be the first thing on my to-do list next time!"
"Great little diner and worth the drive out of way if you are on 71 heading some where. Staff was great - food is excellent! On our way home from Carroll, which doesn't have much to offer for diners, we decided to keep driving until we found something. thanks to fellow Yelpers, we stopped here. Everything on the breakfast menu sounded so yummy that it is hard to decide. But I opted to be good and ordered the vegetarian omelet (I really wanted the skillet breakfast). This might have to be a regular stop from KC to Carroll from now on!"
