"I stopped in to grab a sandwich- definitely a little hidden and was a little concerned no one was there with a lot of foot traffic outside- but the shop was very nice and had some good looking grocery items. I grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich to eat later- a few hours later it still tasted very fresh and had wonderful flavor. I highly recommend for a sandwich or fancy grocery items."
"FRIED CHICKENFried fucking chicken r dF i e Ch i c n k eI am so whippy in the head after eating this wonderful fried chicken just goddamn fried chicken you pick up in the deli but it's good. I would not put in a review of a grocery store if the fried chicken weren't worth moving your ass all the way to the back to the deli to get it.Plus good selection of foodstuffs, esp Mexican stuff like fresh tortillas, always get *really fresh* eggs ya know the Eggland's Best, betteran avg liquor selection, beer section used to be located on the spot where my grandmother's house was (razed to build this joint many years ago). Some kinda karma there, as she disapproved of my drug of choice. All the Somali and Sudanese cats shop here too, so I really like the mix of people as I push ye olde shopping cart around."
"When you think about Spirit World - you think wine. Think again. Of course they're still known for their large selections of wines (and always will). However, they've stepped up their game (maybe I'm just behind), but they are also well stocked when it comes to varieties of well known alcoholic brands, and their bartenders are more than eager to make you a specialty drink to your liking. My husband is always happy to find a bartender who's open to challenge by making him a specialty drink. It's a win-win situation. My husband gets to try out a new drink especially created for him and the bartender gets to experiment and better his craft! The photos provided was the process making the drink. I videotaped the finale' having smoke etc unfortunately, Yelp doesn't seem to allow video uploads. Stop by and see Sam!"
"It's been a while, and I was back to dine at Market Basket for sit down service a few times since my last review. I can't put my finger on it but still not a huge fan of the place. The food is not bad, in fact, pretty decent. The decor is simple but nice. The staff has been friendly, helpful, and attentive. So why still 3 stars?I think my overall feeling about this establishment is that its a "fine" place to go, but nothing on the menu sparks my interest enough for frequent visits and cravings. I still think the price point on the entrees are a little high for what you're getting, and while I am happy to pay that for an entree, it has to be something I really enjoy. Portions are modest as well. So, perhaps just not my cup of tea, but others might find that "favorite" meal at this establishment. In Omaha, the new American dining game is quite strong, so you have to have a good menu to keep me coming back for more."
"A nice space with easy access. Open daily from 11AM - 2 PM there is a nice seating area with order at counter service. There is a limited sandwich / soup menu and catering is offered. The space is very nice and the staff pleasant. This establishment has been here for about a year, replacing the former wine shop with deli. The folks behind the counter are trying their best. Sandwiches are freshly made."
"This is one of my favorite delis. The food is always fresh here and tastes very good. There is plenty to choose from so you can blame yourself if you don't like your sandwich. You can tell the bread is fresh here, served puffy and thick. I just moved to the area 2 months ago and have eaten here 3 times already because it is delicious and so much to choose from."
"Guess who LOVES Orisi's pizza more than my family? NOONE!!!!! Freshly made to order, freeze what you don't eat in freezer bags and it lasts us for months...pull out and toaster over it..yummness in minutes! Meat lovers FAMILY SIZE PIZZA, and PEPPERONI and PINEAPPLE FAMILY SIZE PIZZA...is what we bought for our family of 2tonight! Sometimes you gotta live a little...ORSI's is always ready with your order (call ahead) when you arrive...I highly recommend!"
"This place has an amazing array of sandwiches like literally an entire page in their menu of different sandwiches, so Deb went Loretta, which was ham but fantastic. I went cream of potato soup with chunks of potatoes served with chips Service was spot on and quick Really good spot if you're in downtown Lincoln."
"I chose two sandwiches the bologna and peppered salami. Sandwich's were oversized and just what I wanted. I picked up some pork rinds and out the door I went. Great service."
"Holy moly! This is honestly some of the best Italian food I've ever had, and I travel extensively... I'm shocked how good this place is. Try the meatballs, the garlic oil dip, the fresh bread. WOW!"
"Exactly why you want from your local store great deals, great selection, and always helpful associates. They always have deals on alcohol and meat. This is always my first choice when grocery shopping!"

I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky in not knowing about this spot when I lived in the Old Market. I stumbled upon a TikTok of a girl getting what looked to be the sandwich of my dreams, and I was surprised to find out it came from a little deli next to La Buvette, one of my favorite spots in the Old Market. My husband and I were downtown for lunch, and I knew I had to stop by. The menu is VERY limited; there are only two to three sandwiches everyday and a few soups. I decided to order the mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic sandwich and he tried the mortadella with dijon. My sandwich came cold and his was hot, but both were served on the most delicious focaccia bread with flaky sea salt. I was in heaven. There is very limited seating, but the shop as a whole was very cute. There are some specialty meats, cheeses, drinks, and other food goods available for purchase, too. Everyone working was very kind and helpful. This is a must visit if you are a sandwich lover!

If you like stores that look like an absolute dumpster and staff members that treat you like garbage, then this is the perfect place for you to shop! Also backpacks are not allowed in the store, so if you're a person who's only form of transport is a bicycle and you use a backpack to carry groceries, shop somewhere else like Hy-Vee or Wal-Mart! You won't be welcome here, they'll very rudely tell you, backpacks aren't allowed and kick you out.

Spiritworld, as the name would indicate, offers a wide variety of liquors...but also with a full bar inside that offers small lunch options. It really is a great place to roam the aisles looking at the wide variety of tequilas, whiskeys, wines, or whatever your vice happens to be.The layout is simple, inviting, and well executed. It is quite easy to find whatever you are looking for, and if you can't, there are plenty of experts on hand to help with finding a certain bottle, or giving a recommendation. If you can't find something to please you here, you are in trouble of finding it.The only drawback is it slightly above average prices. One of my favorite whiskeys ran about 10-15% above other places I could find it...however, for the convenience of Spirit World having EVERYTHING in one place, I understand the slightly raised prices on lower-end liquors. The experience is much different than say...a corner liquor mart.

Finally tried this restaurant the other day! It's a few blocks from my house, not sure why I've never tried it before! I was pretty impressed with food! I ordered the McMarket Basket which was very tasty. A buttery croissant with savory ham, melty cheese and scrambled eggs. It was a very unique shaped croissant that fell apart easily, so definitely a fork situation. My husband got the French Toast which was phenomenal! The "secret concoction" that the bread is dipped in is funnel cake!! So yummy! I also enjoyed their Bloody Mary - not too plain, yet not too spicy. They only downside to this place would be the price. Our meals seemed steep for the proportions, no sides are included. I was hungry within an hour and a half of eating here. So maybe stop here if you're in the mood for a lighter brunch. Otherwise I really enjoyed this place!

For some reason, I like this Big Dally's location better. Perhaps it's because it's in the historic downtown area and in a restored building. I'm a sucker for that! The smoked turkey breast sandwich on wheat bread is excellent along with an iced tea. It isn't the fountain iced tea either. It's fresh brewed unsweetened Lipton Iced Tea.Service is fast and friendly. If you dine in, the place gets crowded just after 12 noon, so it is best to take an early lunch or wait and take a later one. Unless you want to get your sandwich to go.

It's not often that a pizza makes you stop and relish in how good it is, but this one did for me. This decades-old bakery and pizza joint doesn't have any seating, but it's absolutely worth stopping by to grab a pizza or two (and what looks like incredible bread) to share. Made with fresh dough, delicious sauce, and whatever toppings you choose, every bite is a symphony of flavor. In the four days I was in town, this was my favorite -- I'd highly recommend it and will 100% return the next time I'm in Omaha!

I was visiting the area and when I saw there was a Bison Witches so I just had to stop in - this brings me back to my college days and I needed to dive into the nostalgia. I've been longing for their nachos and sandwiches for years!I have no idea if the nachos have changed drastically, if my food preferences have changed significantly, or if my memory is very bad - but these were not great. I do not recommend. The sandwich was ok, I appreciate the lightly toasted doughy bread but it was otherwise a little plain. So this was a bust and I think I've finally decided to stop trying to go to all my old favorite college hot spots.

"A very convenient convenience store in Old Market. It was really nice having this next to our hotel for all the random stuff we ended up needing over our Memorial Day weekend vacation. Cubby's is a little on the pricy side, but not outrageous. There's a deli, groceries, liquor, and your typical convenience store finds. They had coolant for the car (which ended up being crucial on our 100-degree plus visit) and a small stock of sunscreen. It did take two trips to find the sunscreen - we asked a man stocking the beauty aisle if they had any and he pointed us to some expensive full-size options. It turned out he was completely unaware of the travel size options two feet from where he was stocking. My boyfriend noticed it the next day and nabbed a spray sunscreen for about $4. Worth it for our trip to the zoo! There aren't really any other convenience or drug stores in the area that we could find, so I'm happy Cubby's exists for those who find themselves in the neighborhood!"
"Love the staff here! They work together so well! They are super helpful and amazing to their customers. Food always tastes fresh too! Wisconsin Cheese soup.... Not the healthiest, but oh so good! I love how they slice the meat right there in front of customers. Not pre-cut like other sandwich places.Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick deli sandwich... Or quick lunch altogether!"
"This is a wonderful little shop, a European deli with an emphasis on Russian and Eastern European products. Very tidy little shop and wonderful selection. They also have a counter with meat and cheese products. Highly recommend."
"Lots to choose from, family owned and delicious food especially the baked beans. They are so yummy."
"Nice small town feel grocery store especially after the recent updates!!! Staff is friendly and service is great!! You get to the car carry out grocery service which is something that is hard to find anymore! Decent selection of products! And great selection of local products!! Deli service is great! Especially with the newer manager! Bakery is top notch!! Have ordered many cakes from here and they have always been amazing and really reasonable!!! Overall nice small town feel of a store and great associates!!!"
"Sid's is in a strip mall on the south side of Cornhusker Highway. Parking is ample and free. The restaurant is clean and service was excellent. Meats and cheeses were cut fresh in front of us. I had the Italian and my wife had the Sid's Special. I'd definitely make a return visit."
"Lincoln's best family owned Vietnamese place. Pho broth is rich, veg garnish is always fresh. Casual environment with attentive staff. Love their grilled pork and rice platter. Not giving 5 stars because the environment is okay but not fabulous"
"I had lunch here on a Sunday, we showed up shortly after the place opened. The ambience is nice, with dim lighting, floor to ceiling wine racks, a bar, high tops and regular tables. At the counter, we were told they don't serve appetizers on Sundays, because they close early on Sundays and appetizers are only served after 3pm. So we figured sandwiches would do. I asked about the ingredients in one of their listed daily soups, and was told they didn't know for sure, as it just came in a bag from Boar's Head. When our sandwiches were brought out, the waitress asked if we wanted anything else. I asked for a glass of water, and she told me to go get it myself, over there, it's self-service on the weekends. Then why ask? Overall it kind of felt like the service wasn't the friendliest, just a bit short and serious at every interaction. Which is fine, I was there to eat, not to chat I suppose, but things like this add to one's overall impression of a place. As for the food, I went ahead and ordered the aforementioned soup, and it was perfectly fine as a warm accoutrement to a cold sandwich. My sandwich was the only vegetarian option on the menu as far as I recall. It was listed with sprouts as a topping, but they no longer serve these and I was given the option of replacing the sprouts with lettuce. The sandwich was decent, if a bit heavy on the mustard. The baguette bread it was served on was chewy as baguette tends to be, so eating it was a bit messy as the tough bread would squish the toppings out the other end of the sandwich with every bite. Just a structural issue baguette sandwiches so often suffer. My friend ordered a Moscow mule and I had a glass of white wine. The drinks were both good, and there is the option of ordering certain wines by the glass or bottle. The place got busy quickly after we showed up, it looked like they have a fair amount of regulars. I wouldn't mind going again, and maybe trying some of their other sides."
"Only place in town to get a coffee.. Ordered off menu 2 coffees double shot mixed with the medium roast coffee.. They brought out the double shots with steamed milk and let me finish off my coffee. Awesome friendly service... Everything is made right there. We had a yummy muffin. Will be back tomorrow for another coffee...."
"Definitely my favorite place to grocery shop. The prices here are almost always better as-is, but they are always running clearance and promos. Produce almost always is beautifully fresh too!"
"This is just one of those times where I hope good people who deserve the world get it. The folks who run this store are kind, sweet and polite. Every time I visit I'm greeted with a smile and great taste. If you choose a sandwich shop in town, please choose this one :)"
"I'm surprised that there are so many negative reviews for this store! It's clean, larger than I expected and prices are lower than I expected as well! My sense is that if you're buying lots of dry goods or bulk items, you could probably find lower prices elsewhere but it's a complete grocery store so all the staples are here (and then some) and for someone who lives nearby, there's no reason not to come here in a pinch or even do all of your grocery shopping here. I'll definitely be back!"
"Excellent lunch sandwiches. Huge selection. Fresh ingredients. Bread was fantastic."
"While it's unassuming exterior makes it a little hard to find, this old school South Omaha bakery and deli oozes at the seem with character. I drove out here specifically to try their famous Napoleon Torte. They had two sizes of tortes available, one for $15 and one for $25. These are basically flaky, layered cakes with a hint of apricot that are very, very delicious. I recommend bringing one to a pot luck/party/family get together, you'll have something for everyone to enjoy and rave about. And only 10 ingredients -- preservative free! They also have a variety of pastry, cheeses, breads and oils. I'm looking forward to trying the noms at their cafe 74th and Pacific (http://www.yelp.com/biz/lithuanian-bakery-and-cafe-omaha?nb=1) one of these days."
"The food was great and more food than my wife and I could eat. I order the chicken quesadilla and it can feed at least five people and it was loaded with chicken. My wife order the beef taco salad and they must have put a pound of hamburger meat. We have food for a couple of days."
"Amazing little market close to my home. They are always friendly and only have quality products. The deli is delicious and we just love shopping here."
"I am usually there in the dead of night, so you would assume that the cashiers would be annoyed by my presence wishing I would go away, but most of the time I am greeted with a smile and nice conversation!"
"This place has the best food, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! It's a great place to grab some food and do a little shopping in!"
