"Such beautiful work! I asked Lori (Owner of Sugar Coma Treats) to make me a special cake for a friend who was turning 50 years old. My friend is a physician who was also celebrating joining a new hospital group. Lori researched on her own the customer's medical specialty for her cake creation, and made the cake so personalized! Lori incorporated my friend's picture, a personalized lab coat with her name on it, a stethoscope, some scans, a syringe, pills, and many other beautiful details. She made the cake strawberry flavored, and it was delicious! The cake had pink white frosting with a prominent "50" on it. My friend said it was the most beautiful cake she had ever seen! (I agree!) Lori is easy to work with, customer-focused, and detail-oriented. Lori helped me package the cake and gave me preparation instructions for the 3+ hour drive to ensure the cake arrived safely. Her creations are truly beautiful. I recommend Lori Manoj and Sugar Coma Treats highly!"

"I finally got in to Sugared Ledge and boy, the wait has been worth it! The donuts are absolutely delicious, and as a bonus they're beautiful to look at! I got the chocolate sprinkle, vanilla sprinkle, triple blueberry glazed, and the chocolate peppermint. I love that they do a donut of the month, which is currently the chocolate peppermint, and I'll absolutely be back for more! "I very recently heard about this bakery from the Faturday Omaha podcast and if you haven't heard of it yet - you seriously should check it out! I needed to order a cake for my brother's birthday, so this episode came at a very convenient time. Listening to Stacey talk about her baking passion is really what made me excited to get a cake from her - anyone who is this excited about their work must take enormous pride in it. And I'm so glad I did!She has such a huge list of flavors to choose from and all of them seriously sounded so good, especially the OG buttered marshmallow cake and all the happy hour cakes, but I went with a 6 inch 3 layer cinnamon crunch to appease all of the partygoers. Ordering the cake was super simple - you fill out an order form online and then Stacey gets back to you with the confirmation and ways to pay. I wanted to pay with credit card, so I called Stacey and she was genuinely so kind and helpful, it made me even more excited!The pickup was a breeze - just follow the instructions she sends you. The cake looked and tasted great! The buttercream frosting is a lighter, airier version of the traditional. My family also very much enjoyed the cake and my brother was very happy! Will definitely come back to Stacey for more cakes and hoping to try some of the other flavors as well - I've got my eye on the French 75!"

"New Elkhorn location (opened October 2020). We saw it after putt-putt and we were curious. Thinking it might be a little snooty, we decided to go back another day, adults only, to get a cake for a birthday celebration. Well, WE WERE WRONG! Not snooty or pretentious! This is a family friendly bakery and would be a great place to walk to after some holes of putt-putt or after playing at Marks. They offer cookies, cupcakes, bars, buns, turnovers and more. They also offer coffee beverages and teas. On this trip, we ended up buying 4 sugar cookies, 2 lemon cookies, a 7-layer bar, a key lime bar, coconut cupcake, and a small carrot cake for a birthday celebration. Yum, yum, yum. They don't just offer sweets though, they also have house made bread loaves like challah, focaccia, and "plain" sandwich styles. This was only our first visit but we'll be back and my mom wants to order their catering for a girls-lunch in her home."

We settled on Candybar Cheesecake, a Brownie, and an Apple Turnover for this visit. Not only will they work with her to design her vision, but they do it for an affordable price.The artistry that they put into the cakes is stunning! My mom can go in with a vision, a topper, or a color theme, and they are able to bring that cake to life in breathtaking ways. This year my niece wanted an Arctic themed party based around a tiny animal toy set. My mom went in with this request and the final cake was STUNNING! I have no idea how they made it work with all of the little toys, but it was perfect. Check out the pictures I attached. And my niece LOVED it!Finally, and most importantly, their cakes are delicious. For the Arctic themed cake, the flavor was 'blue champagne' with a decadent buttercream frosting. I ate an enormous piece and regret nothing. Also, it's important to note that the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and talented. "I was looking for a cake for my birthday when I stumbled upon baked by sweet Melissa. She has macarons sold out of Edge of the Universe cafe along with some Japanese treats out of Her Company, so I knew it was going to be tasty. It definitely lived up to everything I hoped it would be! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was delicious as well! Ordering her treats and cakes is done through her Facebook page or her website. There is lots of different options to choose from, and she even helps if you want a custom flavor. Pickup is done at Her Company, but she can work with you and deliver it if need be. She was kind and great to work with, and made it so that pickup was a breeze. The macarons are the BEST I've ever had. They are the perfect texture of crispy outside and chewy soft in the middle. The macarons even had a filling in between the buttercream that added a whole new flavor profile and freshness. I highly recommend her treats and cakes, especially those who have to be gluten free!"

Loved it.However, we initially requested that the cake be made in square tiers - I was informed a few days before the wedding that the cake would have to be made with circle tiers instead because of the way we wanted it decorated. Not a big deal, but I do wish that information would have been given to me earlier in the wedding planning process. The color of the cake was off slightly from what I imagined - I wanted both teal blue and green on a white cake and it came with just teal blue. I am nit-picking because I'm just that kind of bride, though."

Love the quaint, homey feel to it. The pastry was great, the prices were reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. The only thing I would change is to make it more noticeable from the street. Maybe Wahoo could put signs up along the main drag through town to let people know there is an old town area with coffee shops, antique stores, restaurants, etc."

"If you're looking for gluten free baked goodies, look no further than Queen GFB. She is an at home baker that you can order from either through her website or Facebook. She was super kind and accommodating to my schedule, and pick up was fast and easy. I was able to pick up a variety box of her goods, and it's as tasty as it looks! There's a monster cookie, cinnamon poptart, brownie, lemon poppy seed loaf, and a lemon cupcake. My favorite is the lemon poppy seed loaf, which I haven't had in years. Super moist and not overly sweet. Definitely doesn't make me feel like I'm missing out on a "normal" lemon poppy seed loaf. All these amazing treats come in this super adorable and easily usable box. I definitely recommend this place for my fellow celiac friends, and will be back to try it again!"

"The Bubbly tart does it again! I highly recommend this amazing place. Chelsie (the owner), made my 30th birthday cake 4 years ago and it was divine. Since then I go every couple weeks for cookies, cakes, and macarons. Everything is SO good. It doesn't help I work right down the street. I reached out to her again for a "Fore-Tee" themed golf birthday cake, and she absolutely nailed it! Everyone loved it and kept asking where it was from. Most importantly, the birthday boy was thrilled! Highly recommend the funfetti cake, almond, and strawberry champagne. But everything she makes is incredible. I also put pics my 30th birthday cake. I requested a pink marbled lemon flavored cake with donuts and roses. It was stunning!"
