"Wow the yellow curry here is amazing. It was the right amount of spicy yet sweet from the coconut milk, and had a variety of vegetables in it. I ordered it with tofu which was great- not spongy at all. I got it delivered from uber eats, and it was prepared exactly on time as it said on the app. It came hot and with a side of rice, ready to eat!"
"What a delightful spot! Cool Basil boasts Thai, Chinese AND Japanese fare. There is something for everyone-- with a good many gluten-free and vegetarian options, as well.We popped in on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. The space is large with a ton of seating options-- you could definitely have a big group dine here, no problem. (They do NOT take reservations though, so plan accordingly.)The egg drop soup, sushi and crab rangoons were fan favorites. The day I came the special was the a crunchy pad thai-- I'd go with the traditional one, next time. (Word to the wise, be cognizant on the spice level! They do offer some very spicy options.)HOLY KIDS MENU. So, so many options -- all for about $8. Honey Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Chicken Satay, Wings, Nuggets, Egg Noodles, Pad Thai and Fried Rice-- along with a drink and fruit. Wowza. My kids left full and happy.Pro Tip: Don't miss out on their lunch specials (M-F, 11-2:30PM). You can basically get a beef, chicken, pork, tofu or veggie dish for $10-12. What a steal!Overall, Cool Basil is a Clive must-have. Pop in any day of the week!"

"I have eaten here a couple of times. They staff is fast and helpful. The egg drop soup was really really good. I also had the seasme chicken. Was really flavorful and well cooked. Meal came out really fast. Will definitely be going back for lunches"
"Dragon Wok is a real gem! Every visit is a delight thanks to the friendly staff and great service. I ordered my usual favorites--shrimp lo mein and egg drop soup--and they were as delicious as ever. Even though the online order wait time is about 45 minutes, I'm always willing to wait because the food is just that good, and the prices are unbeatable. Highly recommended!"
"Took my family here during spring break. The food both sushi train and otherwise was phenomenal! The service was exceptional and quality of sushi was wonderful even though they weren't busy all of the items on the train were great. I would definitely come back for the awesome ambiance and food"
"I miss this peanut butter chicken so much, I wish I had the recipe. I talk about Golden Bowl all the time and will visit again one day just for the PB chicken."
"I really enjoyed trying this place the other night. My date and I were very hungry after work and wanted chinese food. We thought about doing takeout but we're glad to be able to sit down and enjoy it. Service was great and very friendly. I know that prices are higher on everything but it seemed a bit too high... I guess I have other favorite places that I feel are worth more possibly. The crab Rangoon was my favorite part though. They were so delicious! :)"
"Yuki and the staff do an incredible job here! Service is always personable and friendly, along with excellently cooked dishes. I can't stop singing the praises of their Kung Pao Chicken (my fav in the country) and their Chicken with Mixed Vegetables. Stop by for the (consistently) best Chinese in town!"
"It was very good! We'll be back!! I loved the spicy side. Because of the peppers though they are crazy hot! Loved the house noodles and shrimp. The restaurant was very quiet and it was chill."
"The food is great and well presented. You can tell that an effort was involved in the preparation of the meal. The service was slow, but guessing that was due to every business's current issue; finding help. A great place to eat dinner even if you're not a sushi fan."
"My favorite place in Omaha for Chinese food! Great service and great food! And you have to have some Sake too!"
"You know the staff is nice and friendly. I would say the shrimp fried rice. Is very delicious they give you a lot of food. It's even good reheated the next day"

This restaurant was recommended by several people and I can see why! If you are a sushi lover, this is your restaurant. This will be my go-to sushi place from now on. AMBIANCE I really enjoyed the feeling of this restaurant. I had reservations for 5:30 and it only got busier as the night went on. It's clean, there is plenty of parking and it's easy to find. SERVICEThe service was incredibly fast. Menus and waters were brought immediately and it only took about 10 mins after ordering to receive the food. The waiter was attentive and polite. FOOD Everything was great! Appetizers, soup, rolls and drinks. The thing I really loved was that their sushi rolls weren't cut big. They were smaller much more manageable sizes to eat. PRICE The price was very reasonable based on the quality of the food and the service provided. I would have expect to pay a little more to be honest.

We've eaten here many times before but I always forgot to take pictures of our food before diving in! Food is always fresh and delicious, service is courteous and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing (unless you sit at the bar during football season ). Props to Cool Basil for keeping the quality of what they do at such a high level for so many years! As always, we'll be back!

The food and service here are good. I only had one entree but it was the best chinese food I've had in Omaha. Perfect lunch spot and I'm sure dinner is good as well. Great portions too. My only suggestion for the owner is to get a giant flashing florescent sign that says OPEN - CHINESE FOOD in the window so people can see it from far away. It looked closed from the outside and most people are too distracted to notice. Great spot

Dragon Wok is about everything you could hope for in an American Chinese restaurant. I ordered the Jalapeño Shrimp which was very tasty but holy cow - heavy on the onion! There weren't very many shrimp. Normally if I'm going have a small portion of shrimp I'd prefer larger shrimp but it was still very tasty overall. The lo Mein was average. Nothing to complain about for sure! The crab Rangoon had no crab or green onion. It was pretty much cream cheese and nothing else but it was cooked well and filled to the max. Easy, quick and tasty meal.

I recently dined at Yamato Sushi Train in Omaha and was excited to experience the unique conveyor belt sushi concept, where you pick your food as it rolls by. The ambiance was fun, and the variety of sushi offered was impressive. Each dish I tried was delicious and fresh, which made for an enjoyable meal. However, the service left something to be desired. Upon arrival, the server made an odd comment, suggesting we avoid using the digital menu because it was needed for a dinner group later on. This was a bit off-putting and didn't make us feel particularly welcomed. Additionally, the server only checked on us once during the entire meal, which left us feeling somewhat neglected.Overall, while the food at Yamato Sushi Train was excellent, the service experience could use some improvement. If the staff were more attentive and welcoming, it would elevate the dining experience to match the quality of the food.

Mongolia beef and orange chicken are both fantastic! Ambiance isn't great but the food and service are the starts of the show.

I have known about Mr. Hui's for almost a year because it's close to the Little King I frequently visited in 2022. Today, I finally gave it a try. I decided to visit during my lunch, and I love Chinese food. I was greeted right away when I walked in. There was a little confusion at first because the woman behind the counter thought I was there to pick up an order. After I ordered and let her know I was going to eat there, she had me seated in a booth. I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch special. I didn't have to wait long for the food. I asked for a glass of water to drink. I didn't get it right away, but the woman realized she forgot it and took it to me within a couple of minutes and apologized. Nice recovery. The lunch special came with some fried rice, an egg roll, and 2 crab ragoons. While I was there, I noticed that most customers were taking their orders to go. Maybe dinner time is different. The quality of the food was good. Everything was hot and fresh. I also thought the portion size was perfect for lunch. I don't like eating so much for lunch that I want to take a nap during the 2nd half of a workday. The price was also very fair. Lincoln has been blessed with several good Chinese food restaurants, and this is one of them.

The food is amazing. I have never ordered anything from here that wasn't delicious. The prices are fair.

"We are driving from California to New York. We came upon Lincoln at dinner time, and we agreed it was a Chinese food night. Yelp had us go way out of our way to come here. We are so glad for this. The long detour is absolutely worth it. The service was top notch! Then the food came out - General Tso chicken. Oh my goodness! It was fantastic! The fire (tv) is warm and inviting, and everything is very clean! We got eating so fast I failed to capture the food, but the my word for it, you'll be happy here!"
"After six long years we ventured back here to eat after every single other place we wanted to go on a Sunday evening was closed for takeout! I was pleasantly surprised at the food I received and would not I hesitate to recommend them for some pho. I still think the broth is a bit sweeter than I personally have taste for and a little oily, but it's a good bowl nonetheless. They prepared the food quickly and it was ready when promised and pick up was easy- a must for covid times!"
"This was a nice choice for dinner. Chinese/Japanese food in Nebraska??? But Yes!The OMG roll is a must!"
"Not a restaurant you'd drive by, and think I need to check that place out. It is in a dingy old strip mall. The inside had a few tables, and most people came in for take-out orders. We chose to dine in, and the service was very good. The woman made great suggestions, and we enjoyed all of our choices. The special of the day comes with your choice of soup. I had the egg drop, one of the better ones I have had. It was not water and had a good consistency. I would return here for the food but might be more likely to do a pickup order if I was in the area. be sure to add the pot stickers to your order they were delicious!"
"These guys were able to prepare my food in no time, my order of sesame chicken tastes amazing. Definitely an Asian atmosphere, felt like I was at my Vietnamese friend's house."
"Thought I would try a new location for some Chinese food and opted for this restaurant. I was able to order within a minute of pulling up to the drive-thru. The lady was very friendly when she took my order and handed me a pager to park and wait for my order. I had close to a 10 minute wait for my two meals, which were veggie fried rice and combo lo mein. My friend said the fried rice was very good, but my lo mein was lacking in flavor. Plus, I feel like the noodles were a little mushy. I might try this location again for something else, but I know there's a lot more Chinese restaurants to try before stopping here again."
"What a nice surprise. We came here years ago but now under new ownership. The inside has been remodeled and more inviting. The food also is higher quality. The food was fantastic. We came with friends and we ordered Greek salad and gyro plate. Everything was fresh. The gyro meat was moist and tender. The owner was so nice and checked on us often. I would highly recommend. We will be back."
"Great location, I remember when they were at around 120th and Dodge ish before the Menard's remodel. Usually its a toss up for great Mongolian Grill between Huhot and China Buffet. The advantage to China Buffet is that besides a great selection of items and sauces, as a friend once said, "you don't have to pay extra for appetizers, etc"Sushi is usually out on the line, and I have always loved seaweed salad. Unlike some other grills where it's "how many ways can we present a chicken dish" They have a great selection including Mongolian beef and my ever favorite Chow mei fun. The China Buffet on Maple St is also good, but quality is always a constant at 114th and Dodge."
"Great food, if you can actually get what you ordered! We ordered ahead for pickup, and waited at the restaurant over forty minutes from the quoted pickup time. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a busy night, but we found out when we got home that we failed to get what we actually ordered. I ordered a chicken and vegetable dish, and received a half full dish with shrimp, celery, and carrots? Called the restaurant only to be told that the person answering could not help us and a manager needed to call us back.. which took another thirty minutes. Said it's a glitch with their online ordering system. Do yourself a favor and call in to order, and bring your patience."
"Came for lunch, it was walking distance and had decent reviews. I ordered the General's chicken and a green onion cookie. Turns out a green onion cookie is just a green onion pancake, it was greasy and not a lot of flavor. I always judge a Chinese restaurant by the general Tso chicken. I cannot say that I feel inspired to return. It was more or less sweet and sour chicken with Thai peppers in it and it still had no heat. However the rice was cooked to perfection. The woman who waited on me was very friendly and from the decor I saw remnants of the beer place it used to be. I think it still serves the craft beers. So that is kinda cool."
"I'm updating my review from last time based on their buffet. I usually opt for their Mongolian, but today I felt like ordering off the buffet. I arrived five minutes after opening and the two buffet tables were already fully loaded with all their foods. Everything looked great, but the sesame chicken was lukewarm, overcooked, super crunchy. The beef and broccoli was lukewarm. The crab rangoons were somewhat overcooked as well. I will say their teriyaki chicken tasted pretty good. I think I will stick with Mongolian from now on."
"The whole family loves the food from this place. We had orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, Szechuan chicken, shrimp chow mein, vegetables fried rice, crab Rangoon and of course egg rolls. The only complaint was that the Rangoon had soft edges, but o prefer that. The whole meal cost 75, so they through in two 2L sodas of our choosing. This wall all take out food by the way. It's not really a place to sit and eat. We did see one other customer and I asked him if the food was good here. He said he drives all the way across town to get it. I agree with his assessment. It's worth the extra 10 minutes."
"I have never eaten inside this business as I live at Fountain Glen Apartments just down the road. I always call in my order for pickup. They ALWAYS have it ready on time and ALWAYS accurate. I have ordered from this place about 15 times now and it's ALWAYS ACCURATE when I get home. It also ALWAYS tastes fresh and hot!!!! One of my favorites in Lincoln Nebraska!!!"
"I love China taste. It's the only Chinese restaurant I go to. I've been eating here since I was a kid. And as usual I get the same thing. Combination shrimp & broccoli platter with white rice, add mushrooms. Shrimp eggrolls and Crabragoon. If it isn't broke don't fix it Greasy goodness. There chicken wings are huge and tasty. The Chicken noodle soup also good."
"A convenient downtown location. Passed by several times and never went in. Kung Pao chicken and hot and sour soup delicious. A nice option for an American/Chinese palate. I would love to see Cantonese traditional noodle dishes ala King Fong style. Wonderful and courteous service."
"I've always had a soft spot for Chinese food, and this did not disappoint. We had ordered takeout and the portion sizes were larger than anticipated (and great for leftovers). I had the kungpow chicken and the combination fried rice. Both satisfied that Chinese food cravings. Personally, I think I should have ordered the chicken a little more spicy, but overall I was pleased!"
"This is my second time here. How did i forget how amazing this place is? It should be way more packed than it is! The food is fresh and delicious and authentic. We love the dumplings, bimbop, and fresh kimchi bar especially. Highly recommend"
"Very nice people working here. They were all happy to see me and answered all my questions about their menu items. It's Chinese food, so your don't expect a lot of surprise. However, the owner explained what was in a dish, with a ton of detail. I appreciated that. Try the rangoon, and the noodles. One "regular" entre, a soup, 2 egg rolls, and an order of rangoon was _plenty_ for my wife and me, for $20, before tip."
"House of Lee has been around for a long time. I would've been eating at their former Center St location 20+ years ago. Decided to try this location and I am happy to say that everything went well here. The food (beef fried rice & steamed dumplings) was swiftly prepared and tasted very fresh & flavorful. They definitely don't skimp on the portions of rice either. There was so much rice in the box that it actually had a bit of weight to it when I took it out of the bag. Overall, House of Lee doesn't disappoint. Highly recommended."
"There's something here for everyone! Our whole family enjoys coming here. We really like the Mongolian grill-we pile up a couple bowls with our favorite proteins, veggies & sauces, then watch the cook heat it over a Mongolian grill-served at just the right temperature with everything you love to eat!To my surprise I seen a pan with whole tilapia fish-head in tack! I was leery at first, but had to try it! So happy I did b/c it was the best tilapia fish I've ever ate!!! Delicious! Props to the chef on this one! The buffet is always fully loaded with the popular Chinese dishes that include: beef, chicken, and vegetarian. Plus there's plenty of desserts to choose from if you're not too full! Hard to pass up the sugary donuts!? Service is always good & the place is kept clean."
"one of the first buffets i've seen that is back to self-serve since covid-19. they are doing a decent job at keeping things clean and masks must be worn at all times unless seated. they don't have as many options as some other chinese buffets i've tried but what they have is pretty solid. love their rice noodles!! also have a "build your own" stir fry section where they cook on a mongolian grill in front of you. i always appreciate when buffets have this! honestly just a very average meal. not amazing not terrible. still left stuffed :)"
"Phoenix Asian: Clive, IA (Hickman and 156th)This place would be far better as takeaway only IMO. The food was OK, it just seems like their set up would be better as carry out, so I will leave this on my carry out options for the future. Nothing wrong with the service, just an observation.Szechuan green beans - a little sweet for my taste but I do like the pickled vegetable slices mixed in. Adds a salty flavor as well. We seem to be obsessed with trying green beans at every Chinese restaurant we dine at. Each one is slightly, or very, different! We're used to Mandarin Grill's but it's fun to try these at every place we go. Shrimp snow peas - I'm a sucker for snow peas and this dish had great flavor, plenty of shrimp, good sauce. Wings - meh. Nothing to write home about, would've been better with a sauce of some sort. Potstickers - good sauce, thick skin (some people like thin potsticker skins). I like both and these were just fine, not killer and not bad. Hot sauce is not spicy at all, bummer. Hot & Sour soup - better than some places. A good place for carry out in the Clive/Waukee area!"
"A small family owned restaurant that has been turning out good food at reasonable prices for years. Good selection of items to choose from. There are also lunch and dinner specials. Most of the business is take out and delivery, but there are 11-12 tables and booths to sit at. Only one waitress, but the food orders still come out pretty fast. Overall, a really good value for the money. Tasty food, decent portions, reasonable prices."
