"Foundations Nebraska please share and don't bring your kids here. Not only did they leave my sons stuff outside because I disagreed with them the owner basically ended mu contract because I wouldn't shut up when i was trying to express myself to him. And because of them my son got scabies, and a bad case of shingles please don't take your kids here...they are pathetic. I have no problem with the teachers it's the owner he us very immature and has some issues if as a parent I can't ask for better communication. It was a hot day and they left brand new unopened soy milk and bags of breast milk outside sitting in the sun. Again how many places do you know that are scabies infested and when my child got shingles we didn't even know it was going because they didn't post it. One of the teachers school age children was on video hitting toddlers with big sticks and no teachers were near to stop it."

"Bubbles and blocks on 48th and Pioneers is the worse daycare ever. My grandson started there over a month ago he was signed up to go Monday-Thursday. about three weeks after he started they gave My daughter a warning that he had to be there on Fridays her day off for at least 6 hours. Why would she take him on her day off. They told her she would be charged for it no matter what this was never told to us when he started. Then then called her today and said effective today he could no longer come back because he missed another Friday. We were already looking for another daycare but needed just a little more time.. My other daughter was let into the locked door by head staff and not asked for a ID and was able to walk right into the daycare and get him no questions asked. A random lady that they have never met was able to go into a locked facility was directed to his room and picked up with not ONE question asked We didn't want him to have to go back there it's not safe they don't know me or my other daughter at this daycare never seen us never met us and both of us at different times walked in there and picks up my grandson . No one asked us who were no name nothing. When I addressed the head lady regarding this she said if you got in with a code we don't ask who you are. . How they would even know that I got in with a code or i Walked in behind someone when my no one was even uoThere. when asked about it the head director lied right to my face and told me my daughter had called and said he was getting picked up early which was impossible because she was in the hospital and even if she had called and said someone else was picking him up they still didn't know my other daughter or what she looks like at all and was able to walk right out the doors with him The diaper was put on everyday with the tabs overlapping so tight I have pictures ofThe marks on my grandson. From the diaper. They definitely don't wipe their noses. tI wouldn't trust hem to tell the truth about anything if they had to lie about something so simple what else could they be lying about. Don't take your child here it is not safe."

"Our daughter has attended creative minds for ~6 months and she has loved every day of it. The staff has been great, the facility is excellent, and my daughter loves going. I would highly recommend this center. They even made custom snowmen decorations for all the children, and frequently update with pictures via the app."

"Just like Scott said, we looked at a bunch of other daycares in the area, including another Kindercare location, before we decided on this one. We are a bit on the over protective side, and we have a hard time trusting strangers with our kid, but the people at this location do not feel like strangers at all. The director at this location really has her act together. All the teachers are really nice and knowledgeable. They are always learning about something new in fun, age appropriate ways. There is always something fun going on. Our daughter LOVES going to "school" as she calls it. She has made tons of friends there. We have since added on Phonics to the cost of her tuition and she loves that, too. They made popsicles one day. They had a cute little Halloween party (no costumes though). They are going to have pajama day, crazy hair day, and a bunch of other fun things like that. They studied the science of dirt. One of the classrooms was growing some kind of plants. Every week has a new theme for what they study. Themes include things like dinosaurs, occupations, etc. They did a cute little recital in the winter and sang a snowflake song.We had a parent teacher conference where her teacher showed us all the things she has learned so far, what she is proficient with, what she is a little behind in, etc. Any time we have any concerns we can just pop in and talk to her teacher about it so we're all on the same page. It's been really great. We are glad we found this daycare. Our daughter loves it so much, that when she is too sick to go she stays home and plays "school." I feel good knowing that she is having a great time AND learning so much. I really feel like this is helping prepare her for real school. I feel like she is in a safe place, being cared for by very capable people who genuinely care.My only complaint so far is that the only actual credit cards they take are Discover, which is just weird. So I have to pay with my debit card. But at least they send me a handy email reminder every week saying my payment is due, with the link to go online and pay it. It's very convenient to pay online."

The Learning and Play Place

"We had 2 children that went to this daycare. It's a great atmosphere, and your children will learn a ton. They use a special learning curriculum that is not only learning, but fun for the kids. Going here felt like family. The staff truly cares about the kids, and that doesn't stop when they've moved on. My kids still ask to see them, and miss going there now that their too old and in school. She serves nutritional lunches and snacks, and not the bland cheapo stuff you'd see at other centers. Your kids are in great hands here, and I wouldn't hesitate to ask if I was to have another child, or know of a child looking for placement."

"I have two grand-daughters that attend this particular La Petite. The oldest (3 yrs) has been going there for a couple years, and the youngest has been going since 2 months old. I have been very impressed with this daycare. Their instructors have been very friendly and loving throughout their time there.I am also very impressed with the educational lessons that my oldest grand-daughter has received. I am pleased to say (being a former High-School teacher) that both of them will be above the academic requirements needed when entering elementary school.I would highly recommend this institution to anyone in need of their services."

"We've been members at the Y for a few months now and this location is nearest to our house, so we come here regularly (probably not regularly enough though!). There are quite a few treadmills, ellipticals, and other machines. So, if you are looking to get some cardio in, you can usually find a machine to get it done. The problem lies in the weight area. There are only two dedicated benches, also one incline and one decline bench. So, those are sometimes hard to get to and I find myself keeping my eyes open and almost sprinting when one opens up. It's unfortunate and they could use a couple of more multi-purpose benches that allow for all three to happen. As others have said, it's busy and if you don't time your visit right, you could end up not being able to use the equipment you want. Pro tip: do not go on Saturday morning before 11 am. Yikes. You'll just have to find times that work best for your schedule and that aren't too busy. I find weeknights after 7 pm aren't too bad but do vary a bit. The basketball court here is always overrun with kids, so I've not been on them too much and we haven't yet used the pool. There are only three dedicated lap lanes, so not much help for those just wanting to get in some laps. There are also classes which seem to be well attended. All told, it's fine for what it is. For us, it's a half mile from the house and the price is reasonable. So, it works. But, just bring your patience."

"Montessori Children's Academy takes pride in providing a safe, comfortable classroom for children to learn at their own pace and progress through hand eye coordination, reading, math, language, art, and play time. I was teacher's assistant at MCA before I moved states to pursue a career as an actuary. I was able to work with all age levels from infant to 6 year olds and I loved working with each kid and watching them excited to learn and develop their skills. Not only was Ingrid a great mentor to me, teaching me the philosophy of Montessori and how to best coach a child through and activity, but the entire staff were also kind and energetic with me and the students. I've kept in touch with Ingrid since I left and she's been a great resource with advice and support. This is a great place to work with wonderful students and parents that attend."

"I honestly wouldn't even give this place any stars. I was an employee. I worked there for a very short time. Staff has hardly any training, the director and assistant director have no knowledge in how to run a center. Treat employees like garbage. Treat kids and parents like garbage. Kicking children out with behavioral issues, when instead of trying to work with parents on a solution. Not breaking employees, or letting them eat, when someone like myself has a medical condition. Hires anyone, leaves children in timeouts for long periods of time. Don't work here or bring children here!"

"I think you should follow these three steps. (a) do what a Detroit-based rapper would do and join this place. (b) come every day. (c) listen to Eminem. Why Em? See (a).So I've figured out that a tree must be located downtown, in order for it to have a Downtown Branch.Mind... Blown.It's an older facility, and some of the weights are a little clunky and difficult to use, but once you get in here you'll have a pretty good work out like I did. There's parking across the street - which I'm not sure if you're always allowed to use, but at least it seems like you can and I didn't have any problems using it.This Y is on a slanted downward Street, and I didn't have a problem getting into the facility, and the locker rooms were fine and it's definitely got a lot of decent new equipment, especially the machines - so I appreciated that. One of the better downtown Ys I've used in the country.There's a running track right around all the weights and stuff. Feels kinda funny with everyone running around you. It can get a little busy at times but it's usually not too bad. It could use a bit of a revamp but for an older Y it's not bad at all. I couldn't decide between a 4 and a 5 for this one. I think it could use better visibility to the outside, like some of the cardio rooms have. But all in all, it's good.And one more thing. Don't join up and then bail on them. Like, if you're gonna pay all that money, then use it. This place was founded by the Christians. So we should learn from them. I have never seen a Christian, Bale. Ever. Get it?"

Their older brother also attends during school vacations and after school. The staff is always so warm and welcoming and the children always seem to be enjoying themselves whenever I visit."

"When we began the process of finding a school for our fist child, I knew I wanted a learning environment that practiced the Montessori methodologies. While CCP doesn't yet have a certified Montessori educator, they're working toward that end and they follow and practice Montessori's methods. My husband and I toured several local school, and we knew we found a real gem when we met Miss Ashley and Miss Krystal. Within a week, our son was verbalizing much more. The week prior to his first day at school, Miss Ashley gave us he opportunity to transition - so his first day wouldn't be traumatizing at all. What a blessing! On my son's first day, instead of being afraid, he was thrilled. Instead of tears, he was smiling. Instead of clinging to his father, he ran to meet his friends at the breakfast table. Thanks to the efforts of his teachers - even Miss Natalie - who is the primary class teacher - and Miss Courtnay - who is a regular on Fridays - my son is really developing into an independent and self-reliant individual.Also, for you parents who might be on the fence about brining your child or children here, the security, care, and precautions taken to keep our kiddos safe is so much more than I ever anticipated. Key-fob entry and requested identification for alternate adults when picking up our kids is absolutely appreciated by this mama!!!So, hop of the fence. "Wow where do I start. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. First of all my son is very high-functioning ASD and was part of the school ager summer camp. They all wore red shirts, however there's 3 kids that were forced to wear last year's pink shirts claiming was for safety. Note all were on the Spectrum. Seems a little more like discrimination but that's besides the point. So my wife sends a message one day and asks if he could wear red like everyone else. Basically her response was yes if he wears a "BRIGHT" hat. Her words per - verbatim caps in all. So we send him to school in a hat, and we get a message that same day it's not "BRIGHT" enough. Literally he was the only child in a hat. Sounds like maybe a case of too many kids, not enough help. My son told me 40 kids go on these trips and there's only 3 teachers. Yikes. The director Allison, or joke of a director I should say, literally got vindictive and she is not at all a nice person. All kinds of problems started the minute we asked to not put him in pink. Again unreasonable request I know. When we signed up I specifically told them how to handle my son and they said hey no problem ($$$$), and I explained that if there's an issue, he's a very smart kid and just get down on his level and talk with him about it. We show up today and she's being stern, telling him he can't go on field trips any longer and claims he actually tried to hit a teacher (if you want to call them that). Basically looking for a reason to give him the boot. Everything there is on video. My wife asked her to prove it and was told it's a live feed and not recording. Sure lol. At the end of the day we're obviously done effective immediately and want to put the warning out there. Stay away. All the reviews you see from past employees are true. I've seen them ripping into kids walking in. Was skeptical from the go but gave it a chance. Bad idea...I promise don't do it. Worst of all my son is the victim in this. He was devastated and doesn't know the difference. All he knows is basically was kicked out for nothing and not wanting to wear pink. $170 weekly to have kid treated like garbage and a smug director who isn't qualified to clean their toilets in our opinion. Skip this place and go to the next. You'll be glad you did!"

"We had a good experience until we didn't. My kid was coming home telling me that kids were running around, running out of the rooms, and flipping over shelves. I voiced concerns about the lack of curriculum and activities, staffing ratios, and the fact that another kid punched my child and left a mark. I had to call and complain to get an incident report. I didn't receive the report until the following day. Similarly, there were kids playing with skip-its on the slid and my son was smacked in the face. The teacher on staff never saw My kid was coming home hungry, would scream at us, telling me kids were engaging in aggressive behavior (kids who had prior to this time frame he was playing well with). I was also given the run around for months about staff who was hired and being trained. They also were operating under a probationary license, which parents are supposed to be informed of this by messages and license information posted in front. They've been through 5-6 directors in less than 5 years. When I pulled him, after the punch in the arm and no communication, I was charged 4 weeks of non-existent care. I could not send my child there anymore and ensure he was safe. YBR violated my contract and still charged me. I asked to speak with the owners and left messages about my concerns with corporate. I was told the owners do not talk calls from parents and don't have a phone to call. Come to find out, in talking with other parents, this is inconsistently a policy they enforce. Other families that we remained close to, along with former staff we've remained in contact with, echo these concerns. I would advise people to read the DHHS violations and not enroll your kid there."

"This place is extremely hit-and-miss, with many locations and classrooms MiNO (Montessori in Name Only).We had our daughter here for over a year, and in the end I really regret it. We were on the fence, because once we started having misgivings, we worried that she'd made friends she'd miss. Even after knowing two families who pulled their children and told us how glad they did, we left her in. I think it was a mistake.We started at one location, where my normally very outgoing daughter cried every time we dropped her off. We switched to another location, where I was told that the first location was just acquired, so they'd revamped the classroom with Montessori materials, but none of the teachers were trained.While the second location was better, I noticed that many very normal Montessori conventions weren't followed. (I have two older kids who were in several Montessori schools for 10+ years, so I know the drill.) Teachers don't shake hands with kids when they arrive. No parts of the plant, no living/non-living signs, no land and water forms, no Montessori birthday celebration(!). At four years old, my daughter said she and several other kids had completed works that kids normally can't do until late in kindergarten, which leads me to believe that the work wasn't being done properly. Assistant teachers rotate regularly, and I never heard of a single one that was Montessori certified. In the end, the teacher we'd been with for over a year was fired without notice. Either she's way less dependable than I thought she was, or they didn't manage something well. After calling and demanding more information, they admitted that neither teacher in the classroom was Montessori certified _or even had any training_.This is a big company. They are good at (and focused on) making money, but they are not providing Montessori education except in hit-or-miss ways. In the end, we went to another community-based Montessori school with certified teachers that was actually cheaper. It's under new management now, but there are a lot of locations and classrooms and teachers that need addressed. I'm sure some people have good experiences here, but we most certainly did not. I hope others make sure they know what their teachers training and background is before sending their kids here."

"After searching and searching, taking half a dozen tours and looking online I was very worried putting my kids in daycare. This place put me at ease with my concerns and made me feel like part of their daycare "family". I was very pleased with the service they provide and all the staff is wonderful. If your looking for a very clean, organized put together environment bring your kiddos here. I will be for sure sending my kids here again. Pricey? Yes! Every daycare is but you can't put a price on your children, their happiness and safety. I will do an update as we go a few more times but I'm sure it will be just as good of a review. "This school has provided my 2 children a very safe and relaxed environment to develop their little minds. I had tried several daycares and was never fully satisfied with the level of service I received as the parent. CCM has no turnover in their staff which is a relief. Also, when I found out my son has a severe allergy, they were quick to work with me to write up a plan which would provide a safe environment for him and other children. The teachers are experienced people who take pride in the level of education they provide the children. I don't have enough kind words to say how much we support Curious Child."

"I was referred by a friend to check out Premier Academy for my 4 month old. I went a looked at two others before Premier Academy and was completely terrified! Premier Academy has wonderful staff who made me feel like my daughter would be well taken care of. They also have the Tadpoles app where they send you pictures throughout the day which is the number one thing I love most, honestly! Seeing my babe in a great mood and smiling while I am at work feels great! All of the teachers I have met are the sweetest and seem to really enjoy their job which is also very comforting. I don't plan on leaving this daycare as long as I need it!"

"Constant staff turnover is hard on kids. The director of this place is so high and mighty, you or your child will never be as perfect as her and she will let you know it, constantly. Good enough for short term but think twice about long term care of your child. The constant yelling at children is ear piercing. Feels odd to me that the staff wants so many hugs from kids especially when they staff is always so new and unknown to the kids."

My kids love it there and have made several friends."

"Where to start..... If you want the short version, this is the most amazing preschool out there and ANY CHILD would be lucky to get a spot there. I toured more than 10 preschools between Omaha and Phoenix and not one compares to Bluebird, including three other Montessori Preschools.We are on our second child at Bluebird, it simply has been life changing for our family and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Every staff member knows every student and they are all great individuals, not to mention it's the same group as when my son started. In other preschools we tried we've experienced high turnover, and since children thrive on consistency, it really interrupts the learning and experience they are they for.We have the option to have kept the kids home doing a home-school preschool but what Bluebird offers teaching the Social, Emotional, Intellect and Independence could absolutely not be matched.I believe THE WAY THEY TEACH and THE TEAM they have in place is what sets them apart, I can not say enough about the staff. The Director is phenomenal, the owner is there all of the time, maybe every day and the teachers and their assistants are just great at what they do. It's not too big and that's why it's like a little family, a family we are SO GRATEFUL TO BE A PART OF!!!"

"This daycare is great for taking your newborns and infants but I wouldn't recommend taking your toddler. We had so many days where our son would come home with diaper rash and one day his butt was literally bleeding as I was trying to wipe it. The toddler teachers don't seem to check the kiddos as often as they should and don't care after being repeatedly told to do so!"

"Took my son there for day care and there were multiple times when there were more kids than teachers allowed by law. Also, one day I picked him up and there was a huge rash on the side if his stomach. It was hard to miss. However, these jokers seemed to completely miss it. Needless to say I pulled my son from there and recommend nobody take their child there."

"Our daughters have been going to Hamilton HEIGHTS for almost 2 years. They have spent time in the infant room, the Toddler room and the preschool room. All of our experiences have been outstanding. One of the strong suits of this facility is that they seem to have very little turnover. Our experience with past facilities was that turnover was very high and it was disruptive for our daughter. Many of their teachers have long tenure. Everyone our children has interacted with has been wonderful. They are nurturing, caring and seem to have a true love for the profession that they are in. It is such a relief to drop your child off at a place where you know they are getting good care.Additionally, the assistant director Angie, is great. She is accessible, kind and very knowledgeable about your child's needs.I strongly recommend this facility for anyone who might be looking for good childcare."
