"The wings was so delicious, I only dipped maybe 3-4 in the ranch sauce and that was it. I felt the ranch was robbing the wings of their unbelievable flavor. The nachos...I was extremely disappointed. I paid however much I paid for the nachos and was disappointed in the end. My disappointment was that I couldn't finish them!! I read a review that said if you order the nachos, don't order anything else. But I'm a big boy so I ordered wings to go with my nachos and yeah, I barely finished half. It's an extremely generous serving and was delicious. I forgot to mention I didn't want sour cream but thankfully the staff didn't put the sour cream on my nachos, it was served on the side in a little cup. I really appreciated that. They did have a bar you could go sit at, looks like a really nice place. I definitely look forward to stopping by again next time I'm in town. One last thing, I'm very big on leaving tips to those who work in restaurants. In a society that suddenly has become "tip hungry", it's those in the restaurant industry who are affected the most. A guy helps an old lady cross the street then ask her if she'll like to give him a tip. It's ridiculous. But it's those in food service who don't ask for a tip, despite that being more than 50% of their pay. I ordered my food online and intentionally didn't leave a tip because I was planning on giving a cash tip when I picked my food up. I went into the restaurant to pickup my food and forgot about the cash in my pocket. I returned to the truck stop and drove away. 200 miles later, I realized what I did and felt horrible. To the staff who prepared me an absolute amazing meal, I sincerely apologize for forgetting to leave that cash tip."
"Are you kidding me? Buffalo-style pizza (just about), Buffalo-style wings (almost), and BILLS-BILLS-BILLS!!!What's not to love??? Casual place in Turner Park. Not the comfiest seating (just bring your stadium seat and pretend you're at the game), but the servers are friendly and the team spirit is strong!!"
"Came during the week for lunch. Sat right away with plenty of tables open. Tables were closer together so know that if there's someone next to you, you'll hear them and vise versa. The server was helpful and very attentive.I ordered the six boneless wings for $8.50 (not the combo). My favorite wings at BWW are the mango habanero so I like to compare at other places. These had a good spice level, but not too much, with a sweet backing. The breading wasn't the traditional rough/hard pre-breaded wings but a thinner crispy version; I appreciated this. Burgers seemed a little high ($15 for burger and fries) for the ones I was seeing. I'd go back to try more items or even to get the wings again."
"We were in town for the CWS visiting from Colorado. Being a country boy from, I love fried catfish. Prior to the trip I googled restaurants in Omaha that offered the delicacy. After reviewing the choices, I settled on this place. We ordered the full order catfish dinner. It came right 19 strips of perfectly fried catfish and two sides. We choose fried okra along with red beans and rice. My son (10) and I had plenty to eat. The portions sizes were extremely generous. The Flavor of the beans and rice was point on. The okra was delicious too. The catfish was flaky, delicious, and piping hot! If I lived in Omaha this place would be a regular stop for us."
""Beer battered onion rings. Awesome."That's it. That's the review. Come here for good to very good sports bar food and the Roman Coin pizza. Lots of flatscreens and music. But if you're a fan of beer battered onion rings, go to Varsity. Served with a spicy Southwestern Ranch dipping sauce. I like a splash of malt vinegar on 'em."
"Great food at a great price. We had burgers, wraps, chicken strips and pork tenderloin at our table. Everyone loved their food."
"Good food, great service. Never had to wait for a drink. The addition of Irv's deli was a great move!"
"It's your typical sports bar. Typical bar food - nothing spectacular. Mixed drinks and service can be hit and miss. I recommend just sticking to beer. TV's everywhere, so If you are looking for a sporting event on TV, you'll find it here. This is usually the place where they hold my high school reunions, so the party room is ideal for similar events."
"Have been coming here for years but decided to leave a quick review. Oscars is a great spot if you're looking for good pizza and wings! Great sports bar atmosphere and always has good service!"
"Family friendly, reasonable and services groups! For the kids they have games and adults a brewery as a neighbor;)"
"I had an amazing experience at Grata. Food and drinks are delicious! Jamie and bubba are the best. definitely check it out"

This is a half-mile walk from Horseshoe Council Bluffs. Easy walk with sidewalks, a little grass, and you might see 1-2 meth-heads on the way but they'll just walk by you. It's even possibly they will nod or say hello, but they usually keep their head down and keep it moving. My food on this trip had left a lot to be desired and this was by far the best meal. The wings take at least 20 minutes, which is actually good because it means they take it seriously and focus on quality. The waitress was patient although I could tell she might have gotten a little frustrated with all my inquiries about which wings to get--I suck at ordering wings. But she did a good job and remained poised and was friendly the rest of the way. And she made a great Old Fashioned that was also a good pour. The dude that took over for her at the end of my meal had a scowl and didn't say a word (reason for the four stars but food is a five). The vibe is a neighborhood family bar, which sounds odd but it works. They will instantly know you're not from there but they are friendly enough and the wings are excellent. Therefore, recommended.

Always a great time. We fell upon music bingo on Tuesdays there and the host is so fun !Food sub par but the drinks, service, and specials make it worth this trip. The area is perfect too! Great patio. All great !

We tried this based on word-of-mouth from numerous people and it did not disappoint . The place was packed for lunch, but we decided to go ahead and sit at the bar so we could not have to wait. The server was super friendly and all the other staff that checked on us frequently provided refills...everything was great. I loved my blackened chicken burger that had the perfect amount of spice, cheese, lettuce, and spicy sauce. The sweet potatoes and my sandwich were seasoned fantastically. I cannot wait to go back and try their breakfast or one of their burgers.

I had never been to this restaurant. Me being a person of color don't feel good about saying something bad about a minority owned business but I found. My dining experience there to be marginal and mediocre at best.the fish was overcooked and lacked good flavor.sorry but that's how I see it. Good luck

We have only done takeout pizza from varsity, but it is our go to place for pizza now!! So many options on the menu, but the Southwestern hand tossed pizza is always a must!

First let me say that I've been here on multiple occasions and it's been phenomenal. From the service, to the food, and the over all atmosphere, it was really great. Today however, not their day. Again the food was great. The service was not only subpar, but downright rude, then completely absent. For a party of 3 we received 2 refills over the course of our meal. We were reminded as soon as we sat down that shift change was coming and we needed to order. Not only was the service of this individual really disappointing, but the female employee at the outside bar who was completely drunk and let us all know she was, really sealed the deal on us never coming back. It's a shame, the food is great. Maybe a to go order, or on-site management to keep people on their game. Cheers, just not here.

This is a fun and relaxing place the stop by for drinks and tasty food. I went to watch the Nebraska Huskers on their big screen TVs. It was a fun and festive atmosphere and the char-buff wings were very delish, I highly recommend them. They're so good that I went back a couple of days later for more.

"I've been twice now and had the Rueben and a cheeseburger. Both were fantastic. And you will find the best onion rings in Omaha here. Service is great. They take good care of you. Ambiance is typical for a sports bar. The restaurant is nice and clean. My daughter and I both really enjoy coming here!"
"Amazing food! We stopped on our way to go camping! We ordered the special Cajun fried chicken and the tenders were so juicy and flavorful. Tons of rice and beans with it, Mac and cheese and cornbread. My husband got the jambalaya with collard greens and corn bread and we shared a potato salad. I was blown away everything was piping hot and so flavorful and delicious!! Keep up the great work and cookin!!!"
"Excellent food. Friendly service. I go every Wednesday with a few of my neighbors & the staff at Tanner's know us by name & can pretty much guess what we will order."
"Having been to Hyvee numerous times and passing this, I was curious what it was. I recently went with some coworkers on Christmas Eve (around noonish) and the place was packed. I would say it is a hybrid casino/sports bar/dive bar/casual hang out vibe. If I'm looking for a casual place to meet up with some friends, I would consider coming back."
"Great reco from the clerk at Holiday Inn!! We had stopped for the night on our drive west and wanted a quick, casual but good meal. Big Red was a winner on all fronts. It was packed. Upon checking In they said 10 minute wait. We got seated in less than that - looked like a well run machine with folks hustling to clear, turn tables. Our waitress was right there and was very helpful. We started with the house special dry rub wings. Outstanding! Piping hot, crisp skin, moist meat and great flavor from the rub.The meals came quickly and again served hot! The buddy who ordered the strip steak loved it! Cooked perfectly with great flavor. Other buddy ordered the double bacon burger - it was huge. He loved it. Fries were also very good - a unique crinkle cut shoestring style. The salads were ok - good but not exceptional. Apple Carmel pie was unique - almost cake like packed with flavor.A definite repeat!!"
"I don't know what to say here. I'm still in shock and kind of in mourning. I was back in Nebraska for a week and was meeting a friend for lunch, so of course, I suggested my favorite place in the world. This wound be the original Watering Hole on O Street. To my shock and dismay, it appears to be closed for good. In side it was still set up for business with ketchup bottles still on the tables, like a snapshot of days gone by. (Although a much better snapshot of days further gone by would be a couple decades earlier when the Watering Hole was a dive bar with th best wings around.) But I digress . . . . we checked Yelp and went to the closest of their new locations. Feels off somehow, but that's probably just me. Great service and the same awesome wing sauce that I crave every time I'm back in Nebraska (if only the sold bottles of the stuff). Definitely a "must stop" when in Lincoln, or even in a 200-mile radius.Sure could use a bottle of wing sauce right about now . . . . even though I'm fairly certain I've figured out the secret ingredient. ;-)"
"Spicy chicken sandwiches are a solid 9.2/10. Tasty, good portion! Very nice people working. Definitely would come back."
"I came in for a friends birthday party a few days ago and was nearly late. I drove by Pheasant Bar at least twice before seeing it right in front of me. When we strode through the door (the left one is the only one that opens) the wafts of smoke from the black lungers who were by the door. It was a Saturday night and we knew they have karaoke so that was a plus. It was really crowded and our party had a few tables in the back. Drinks were easy to order and the guy taking care of us was awesome. Shout out to B.O.D. (Bag of Dicks) for being on top of shit. The rest of the night I felt like I was at a High School reuinion. Soccer moms and cheer squad. Flat billed, d-bags, and then it happened. Those songs that you hear at every wedding. Cupid Shuffle, 2step, and some other one I try to forget. No chicken dance, though.I'll come back for the rockin out"
"It was definitely packed due to pool night so my first time here I was thinking service might be slow. We sat at the bar and the bartender was fast courteous and efficient. I ordered the fish basket and fries and it was delicious. Fish was crispy and their steak fries were filling. I have a new go to spot in Hastings."
"Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of the food here. They had several options for kids meals, which makes this a great place for families. Friday they have a happy hour that goes until 6 PM, which gives you $2 street tacos, and deals on margaritas and beer. I tried most of the street tacos...some of them were good and a couple of them were great. I was pleasantly surprised by the chorizo taco. I have had several disappointing ones in the past, but this had a nice spice level, it wasn't too dried out because the meat is ground up, it wasn't greasy...it was fantastic. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Carnitas. This is another one of the street tacos that typically gets dried out or bland. But not the case at bomb taco! Succulent meat and nicely flavored. The tacos were served with plenty of fresh limes, and they didn't scrimp on the fillings. The small corn tortillas were filled up, nearly completely. The main drawback was that they were understaffed. I felt bad for the gal who was working behind the register. She was the only one to handle taking orders, bringing food out from the window, and cleaning the entire dining room. She was a busy gal with a smile on her face so props to her. But it did make the wait longer for everyone involved."
"Good/solid bar food and great service. Lots of tv's with pool and darts. Enjoyed my philly with onion rings (which were better than they might look once dipped in cajun mayo).... My better half gave the club sandwich a "pretty good" recommendation. We will be back! - I haven't yet tried any of their wings but they offer the char buffed and double dipped variety which is really the only way to get them."
"This Korean fried chicken and Korean corn dog place is . I really liken Korean fried chicken wings. You can get the wings tossed in sauce or on the side. I got sauce on the side so the chicken doesn't get soggy. The chicken was crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. I personally like the traditional Korean BBQ sauce a lot! My 2nd favorite is the Gangnam spicy sauce. I tried the red devil sauce which is more like a buffalo sauce. For the Korean corn dogs are fun. The potato corn dog is like eating a hotdog wrapped in French fries. The Cheeto dog I got was 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 hotdog wrapped in deep fried Cheetos. So fun to eat. They also have boba tea which then kids seems to really like this special treat. This place has only been open for a couple months. It is clean and airy. This place is worth a trip to Florence."
"Wow is all I have to say. My good friend asked if I wanted to hit RKs bar an grill in Malmo his fathers hometown bar. It took us about 30 min to get there from Omaha an the bar is absolutely awesome. It brings you back to the 70s but let's talk about the food. Holy cow it's insane good. We started w Texas toothpicks that we're fried peppers onions an jalepenos an the fry was perfect. I based on recommendation went w the four piece broasted chicken an sidewinder fries. Ok everyone that's a fried chicken fan this ranks right up there w some of the best I've had. Between it being small town America an absolute dive bar w phenomenal food you can't go wrong making this a necessary pit stop!"
"So far, so good. Loving the quaint ambiance. Will add more to the review with update on food.Must say that the food was better than we anticipated it would be. The salsa was the favorite. It was interesting and different than anywhere else that I've been in the past. There were roasted tomatoes, avocado, and lots of cilantro. && I don't know if it's because I've been in Denver for a year, but it seemed well priced for the amount of food served. The fajitas, for example, were $17 and the margarita was less than $7, tacos $2.99/each."
"This BBQ spot in Blackstone is officially my new obsession. It's in the same spot where Kathmandu Momo Station was before they moved, connected to Scriptown. While I was sad to lose the momo spot from the neighborhood, Lazy Buffalo is definitely making up for it. They opened in April but I didn't get around to trying them until a couple weeks ago, but I've been back 3 times since because I keep craving it!! I've tried the Gobbler (turkey sandy), the Alan Earl (pulled pork), the Blackstone Bologna, & the Rib Boat, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one. One of my favorite elements is the texture of the sandwiches; each one is perfectly paired with the ingredients & type of bread to be a symphony of textures. I loved the sauce on the ribs. Their slaw also rocks, it has a really unique flavor but it's great. They're always super friendly as well! The only downside is they don't seem to have any beverages, which I guess makes sense if it's meant to be ordered while you're sitting at Scriptown, but not as ideal for takeout. I hope this place is really successful, I will continue to be a regular while I live in the area!!"
"Pros: awesome food, reasonably priced, and good service. Cons: lines can be long during lunch hours."
"I came into Little Caesars on a Wednesday afternoon at about 5:30, and immediately when I walked in young gentleman came up from the back area to greet me, and there seemed to be only him and one other gentleman working in the store.I ordered a deep dish pepperoni with cheesy bread and some marinara sauce on the side, and he told me it would be about a five minute wait. It ended up being about ten, but who could complain when your food's coming out fresh? As I waited, I noticed the young guys working both sharing duties in the back preparing food, and coming to the front to help other customers who were walking in.When it comes to the food, no complaints at all. The cheesy bread was soft and pillowy with a nice crisp on the edge, and not real greasy on the bottom despite coming from the hot box. It didn't need the marinara sauce though, which was cold and tastes bland. The deep dish pan pizza was crispy all around with that cheese fried along the edge, and there was enough sauce on the pizza which I appreciate. Overall, everything was satisfying, and what more would you ask for at a Little Caesar's?I saw the negative rating this place had and decided to see for myself since this place is near me. I believe this franchise is immigrant owned and operated, and I think it's important to support restaurants like this and their staff who work hard in these rough times to make it work despite rising costs and staffing shortages. Go over and show them some love. I sure will next time I want a fast pizza."
