"Great Mexican food in Omaha. The competition is tough especially in south Omaha and I would put in top 5 but probably not top 3. At times it can seem that quantity is put over quality and other times it is a 10/10. The environment is family friendly yet bar like with ' games of skill' and dance floor. Our service has always been top notch with great food and drink recommendations. If you visit definitely have some tortillas as those are always freshly handmade and tasty :)"
"I love their selections. The staff is usually friendly and attending. The only disappointing thing is that I wish their selections were a little bit more diverse"
"Great location, I remember when they were at around 120th and Dodge ish before the Menard's remodel. Usually its a toss up for great Mongolian Grill between Huhot and China Buffet. The advantage to China Buffet is that besides a great selection of items and sauces, as a friend once said, "you don't have to pay extra for appetizers, etc"Sushi is usually out on the line, and I have always loved seaweed salad. Unlike some other grills where it's "how many ways can we present a chicken dish" They have a great selection including Mongolian beef and my ever favorite Chow mei fun. The China Buffet on Maple St is also good, but quality is always a constant at 114th and Dodge."
"I'm updating my review from last time based on their buffet. I usually opt for their Mongolian, but today I felt like ordering off the buffet. I arrived five minutes after opening and the two buffet tables were already fully loaded with all their foods. Everything looked great, but the sesame chicken was lukewarm, overcooked, super crunchy. The beef and broccoli was lukewarm. The crab rangoons were somewhat overcooked as well. I will say their teriyaki chicken tasted pretty good. I think I will stick with Mongolian from now on."
"There's something here for everyone! Our whole family enjoys coming here. We really like the Mongolian grill-we pile up a couple bowls with our favorite proteins, veggies & sauces, then watch the cook heat it over a Mongolian grill-served at just the right temperature with everything you love to eat!To my surprise I seen a pan with whole tilapia fish-head in tack! I was leery at first, but had to try it! So happy I did b/c it was the best tilapia fish I've ever ate!!! Delicious! Props to the chef on this one! The buffet is always fully loaded with the popular Chinese dishes that include: beef, chicken, and vegetarian. Plus there's plenty of desserts to choose from if you're not too full! Hard to pass up the sugary donuts!? Service is always good & the place is kept clean."

The Grand China Buffet is one of the better buffets I have been to. The waitress we had was very friendly attentive clearing our empty dishes and filled our water glasses. They have Mongolian grill but typically I selected from their buffet entrees. The food is fresh, always filled and hot. Overall I thought this is one of the better Chinese buffets I have been to in Omaha. My only knock is the decor (tables and chairs) are very basic. Overall this was a great visit and will plan to visit them again in the future. I would recommend this buffet to others.

When we went here it was moderately busy but nothing too terrible. I started in the Mongolian grill line and the cooks took forever with the meals. I estimate I stood in line for over 15 minutes while my food was actively cooking. I have been to several Mongolian grills over the years and have never come close to standing there that long. I finally received my food and was able to continue on with my dinner. Sadly due to the amount of time I was waiting on my food, my party was mostly finished with their meals. Our waiter was amazing and promptly brought drinks even before we ran out. He cleared the tables and offered extras to us. As far as ambiance, there isn't much for decoration here. Pretty bland throughout the restaurant so I wouldn't recommend coming if you're looking for a fun environment.

Food was ok, it was very packed when we came in, but got seated within 30 mins. The food was being replaced continuously since there was a lot of people. It lacked cleanliness around the serving stations but this was probably due to the large amounts of customers. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate us.

This is the best Asian smorgasbord in North America! The staff says there might be a better one in Las Vegas. But I doubt it!Asian Buffet has all-you-can-eat potstickers! That alone is worth the the price of admission! Do you know how much it would cost me to pay for all the potstickers I ate there if I ordered them from a regular Chinese restaurant??? It would cost a fortune. And I love potstickers! Who doesn't?I usually don't like Japanese food mixed in with Chinese food -- as if they are somehow the same thing. But the sushi at Asian Buffet is so good I have to make an exception: They have really good sushi. Not just the filler junk you usually see, but multiple kinds of crab, and all the other good stuff!Asian Buffet doesn't just have the bland Chinese food that other buffets usually fill-out their selection with. They have Crab and Shrimp and Singapore rice noodles (mǐfěn), and -- one of my favorites -- SESAME BALLS. They even have tapioca pudding and pizza for the kids!Asian Buffet has been open for 8 years, but the enthusiasm of the staff seems like they just opened yesterday, and are vying to provide you with today's exemplary culinary experience. And they do! They not only provide you with all you can eat of some of the best Chinese dishes ever made, but on top of that, they even provide bottomless Pepsi which -- to someone like me who is addicted to caffeine with bubbles -- is AMAZING!I love this place! I'm so glad I discovered it!

"one of the first buffets i've seen that is back to self-serve since covid-19. they are doing a decent job at keeping things clean and masks must be worn at all times unless seated. they don't have as many options as some other chinese buffets i've tried but what they have is pretty solid. love their rice noodles!! also have a "build your own" stir fry section where they cook on a mongolian grill in front of you. i always appreciate when buffets have this! honestly just a very average meal. not amazing not terrible. still left stuffed :)"
"The food is not bad depending on what time you show up, sometimes fresh and sometimes tastes like the food has been sitting under an heat lamp for hours. The place is always busy and somewhat dirty on the floors, very dull inside. Very large selection of Chinese dishes, Mongolian grill, sushi and American, lots of deserts. If your in the mood to eat a ton at a cheap price in a not so nice atmosphere then stop by."
"Some of my co-workers and I went to the International Buffet today for lunch and it was an okay experience. We walk in and were seated immediately, in the back of the restaurant. It was kind of weird that they sat us back there since the place was pretty dead. Not a big deal, just kind of odd.I was hungry so I bee-lined straight to the buffet. Total, I got two plates of a bunch of different 'Chinese' dishes and two plates of crab rangoons. (obviously no crab in them but they tasted okay.) I would have gotten sushi but they didn't have any out when I was eating. They waited till I got my dessert to bring out the sushi; not sure how their buffet sushi would have tasted any way.For dessert, I got a small cup of their self-serve ice cream. It was good, not great. The service was good. they came to our table a few tables making sure that we had refills and asked if we needed anything. The price was pretty cheap for lunch. I got a water to drink and my total was $8.20 - which isn't bad.All in all, the food was okay - typical Chinese buffet food texture and taste. Not sure if I'll go back or not."
"I was starving and wanted a lot of food. Someone else was paying, with the little sticky coupons that come on top of your morning paper. The first thing I hit on was the little pigs-in-a-blanket. Now that's hardly Chinese. But that is when a little disengagement is helpful.Bar from your mind the dim sums in San Francisco and Vancouver, what you learned about wok cooking many years ago...just think of it what it is, and that is a buffet. And for what it is, it is pretty good. Above what I have experienced in the past, and hell the staff is friendly too. No I would not take Jacque Pepin here, but he ain't having me over to his house in Madison, Connecticut either. Maybe my uncle Clem from outta town, he would like it. This place is always busy. The chicken offerings were fresh, the seafood (salmon and scallops) not bad for a buffet, the beef and brocolli good. Keep in mind it's a buffet, don't overdo it, there is plenty of dessert available like the soft-serve ice cream."
