"Blackstone Bene is a hit! Delicious new menu options +.50 for egg shortages. Wonderful service always!!!"
"Railcar is our go to restaurant. Never been disappointed over the many years of going. Happy hour menu is one of the best in town! Love the dinner options. The schnitzel is one of my favorites to choose from."

"Great small spot to grab a bite of flavorful southern cuisine. Cute cocktails, smaller sized menu to match the restaurant size--probably seats about 50-60 in a large room with very high ceilings.Great service--we got a party of 20 across a few couches which was perfect. Server did a great job splitting things and food came out hot and quickly! I would definitely come back!"
"In town for the week. Have no idea why I waited so long before visiting. Happy Hour Specials were great. The pretzel bits and Gruyère cheese fondue was that extra little. Chicken tenders had a wonderful breading and all the sauces were on the side. Don't laugh at me but they had PBR on draft. You had me right then. And something even cooler is a beer canning machine at the bar. You can buy a crowler (32oz) and they pour draft and seal it right there. I thought that was super cool. Kinda why I'm here 2 days in a row, now that I know all of the above. Great and friendly staff. You gotta give it a try!"
"I've loved Lisa's for years now and it's always a novelty coming here. Please note that you will more than likely have a very long wait (I've always had a 45-minute to hour wait). Most people wait outside but there is an interior space to wait in the winter. The food is pretty good and a perfect place for your basic breakfast favorites. they always have unique specials that really stand out from other brunch spots and something that you can't find on a typical menu. On my most recent visit, I got The Works which is your basic eggs, meat, hash browns, and toast dish so it's hard to mess up and it was great! My guest got the special, the monte cristo, and they loved their sandwich. However, I really wanted a BLT as we went around lunch but they do not serve the lunch menu on Sundays. Not a big deal at all - just something to note!I love the coziness of the place and if you are lucky enough to get the booth spots by the window on a snowy or rainy day then make sure you romantize every bit of that experience. It's my favorite! The staff is always super nice and attentive - you'll never have an empty cup of coffee! Please note that if you want a boozy brunch to start your weekend, Lisa's doesn't serve alcohol! Overall, Lisa's is a solid breakfast spot!"
"I've been wanting to try this place forever and it didn't disappoint. The cozy, wood filled space and a seat right by the fireplace made it the perfect spot, especially with the snow falling outside. I felt relaxed and at home. The focaccia with whipped ricotta and truffle oil was unreal, I could have eaten the whole thing. I got the timber mac and cheese, which was definitely not your typical mac. The chimichurri and pico de gallo gave it a fun twist. Service started off a little rushed, but our server turned it around and ended up being great. Can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu!"
"Biggest pork chops I've ever experienced. If you come here you better be hungry because they give you a ton of food at an excellent value. Service was fast and friendly Inside is super clean including the bathrooms."
"Found out about this place from a friend recently after years of living in the area. Some of the best breakfast food we've ever had here in Omaha. Still have yet to try a burger (was going to try one for dinner only to see they are only a brunch place and close at 3 all week), but all the breakfast dishes have been phenomenal. The green chili in particular is something special not seen in other Midwestern joints east of Colorado. I like to smother everything with it.The ambiance is a diner classic--we only have a few of these left in the US, so we need to keep them alive. The service is great, they keep a keen eye on your coffee, filling it up very frequently.Truly a great restaurant. The only downside are it's hours, but beggars can't be choosers."
"We went on a holiday and they were extremely busy. However, they have everything down to a science and are extremely efficient, so we didn't have to wait very long. The service was excellent, all the staff seemed very seasoned and professional, while also being warm and friendly. I had the Reuben sandwich with a side of coleslaw; both were absolutely delicious! My friend tried a chicken and waffle combination that was equally tasty. This place is always a top pick for me!"
"Wow! So we got right in and next to the fire which was awesome as it was 3 degrees out side.Hot coffee right away on the table! Added the Capital Crunch coffee holy buckets right on!Had the Smoked Salmon frittata and the hubs had an omelet. Yes filling and super delicious. The establishment runs with many great systems in place with exceptional employees who were so busy but so friendly and seem to enjoy each other while giving so much care and attention to every guest.Hope I go out of the way to eat here again as we take our to go coffees our server got us and head back to DSM."
"This restaurant is amazing!! I can not recommend it more. We have been here a few times, and each time we got the tasting menu which was well thought out and decently priced!Right as we walked in the offered to take our coats and led us to our table. They staff was very attentive, even offering me a purse hanger. They have an extensive wine list, so we began our meal with a bottle of riesling which was crisp and refreshing. We went there for valentines day and did the chef's menu. I am gluten free and they were very accommodating with altering the dishes slightly. I started with the smoked white fish on a delicious creamy dill spread. Then had the tuna for my main which was FANTASTIC and finished with a chocolate mouse- the perfect dinner. The ambiance is moody and I loved how the tables were spaced to feel like you had your own little private dining area. There is also so much fun art on the walls to look at. This paired with the white bricks made it the perfect place to enjoy good company, good drinks, and AMAZING food. Highly recommend!"
"Order at the counter and then seat yourself. Ordered an oat milk latte, morning wrap, yogurt bowl and a vegan hash with a side of chicken sausage. $49.15Hoping it won't take long to get our food, since we don't have a lot of time to eat this morning. The vegan hash is slightly sweet and savory, it's good with the avocado, jalapeño and pickled onions. The chicken sausage is nicely cooked and decently flavored. The morning wrap, it was tasty."

Found this place on yelp while visiting Omaha for a night. I was a little nervous when we pulled in but once we walked inside it was just like the pictures. The service was awesome- very Midwest friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I had the charcuterie board - it was exactly what I was hoping for (although portions were huge!) and I swear my drink was never below the half point. Glad we stopped in for dinner!

We're huuuuuge Herbe sainte fans now! We came in one Sunday and the brunch menu didn't look appetizing so we left. This is a smaller restaurant with a few spots, but some very intimate seating. However, we came back on a Wednesday night before a movie and could have died happy that night from our last meal. We also had to sit at the bar because everything else was booked or full. The bartender was working hard (forgot her name), and the food came out quickly. This gumbo is to die for! And I've grown up with some Louisiana gumbo. The artichoke crab dip was probably my favorite dip to date. You can get it gluten free too! The drinks were so unique and delicious! Definitely go during their happy hour and save some $$! We're going back!!

This joint is located right at the door step of the College World Series Baseball stadium downtown. There is tons of metered street parking available, within a reasonable walking distance. It has a neat set up. There is the main bar area with a full bar, with seating around it, and dining room seating as well. You will find televisions all around that area. There is also another full bar with seating and a dining area off to the side, which is used for private events and over flow. Additionally, the bar has an outdoor courtyard in the back with seating. It is a nice place to sit if the weather is nice. I came on the night of a big show at the convention center, so they had a limited menu. The staff at the place is very friendly. In addition to their full service bar with signature cocktails, they serve burgers, sandwiches, fish, chicken strips, salads, and sandwiches. I ended up going with the fish and chips. I also got a Spritzer to wash it down. It took about 15 minutes or so to get my food. It was ok. One of the fish fillets were overcooked and very crunchy. The other one was fine though. The fries were pretty good and I loved the spritzer. If I had to do it over again, I would probably have gotten something else. Anyway, this is a convenient bar/restaurant within walking distance of the convention center and baseball stadium. A 3.5 rating would be more appropriate for this place, but that is not an option so I went with a 3 because I felt it was closest to it.

Was looking for a place to grab breakfast and saw a lot of great reviews about Lisa's Radial Cafe. Browsing through the menu and one item caught my attention which I haven't had in a long minute and it happened to be under Radial Specialties...the Chicken Fried Steak!Chicken fried steak - 5/5 for me! Perfect breading, cook, and flavor across the board! Portions in Nebraska can be overwhelming so I was happy to see it was a manageable plate. The white sausage gravy was also on point! Would recommend everyone visit Lisa's Radial Cafe, but would recommend making a reservation, if possible, or get your name on the list because it's a pretty popular place and can bring a long wait time.

Great food! Timber is BUSY at peak times so, be prepared to wait or make a reservation ahead of time. Their pizzas are unique and delicious. I had some of the red wine poached pear and it as perfectly balanced and sweet. The Cedar Plank Salmon is so good. Cooked perfectly and a generous serving. The soy glaze is a perfect compliment to the salmon and veggies it is served with. I had the New York cheesecake for dessert and it was SO creamy. My husband and I joked that there had to be at least a brick of cream cheese just in our slice

Edit I just realized I've left two reviews lol oops Our new favorite breakfast spot. Each servers are so nice so are the ones that clean the tables. Food is good. Atmosphere is good and the prices are decent coffee comes with your breakfast I guess depending on what you're ordering and if you don't get hashbrowns and toast, they take a couple dollars off.

"We love Blatt and all three of our kids like something on the menu which is a win! The Mac and cheese is delicious and the Tipsy Cuban is a fave. Not a fan, personally, of the Brussels but the other apps are yummy."
"Great breakfast! Service was polite and friendly. Inside was cool to see so much history. Definitely worth the trip!"
"Love the menu - salads are terrific! Enjoy sitting on the patio in nice weather Great customer service"
"excellent breakfast with alot of history. Old fashioned diner. Service was ***** stars. will definetly be back next time in Omaha.Quiet and relaxed."
"Great hot spot for breakfast and lunch! Waitlist highly recommended as it is typically busy. Seating can be either at the bar, high chairs, booths, and or outside seating as well. Many good choices to choose from. This time around got the Crab Rangoon Omelette that was wonderfully fluffy, stuffed with imitation crab along with a savory sweet sauce."
"Night out with family and friends in downtown Omaha. We ate at @tupelohoneycafe and it was yummy. A party of 8 was sat quickly (we had a reservation). Our waitress was amazing and super helpful. The area we were in was very accessible in my wheelchair and a parking garage was right there. Our party had a little bit of everything and it was all so good. Sorry some pictures were an after thought. The Resturant atmosphere was nice. Can't wait to go back in the warmer weather to sit on the patio and enjoy the area more."
"Cool staff. Great coffee. Yummy food. Great vibe.I stopped here as I was crossing through Nebraska and it's a place I'd now go out of my way to visit again."
"The service was outstanding, food healthy and fresh, and vibrant was positive. We enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend!"
"Super yummy and not badly priced! Visiting from Iowa and wish it was closer to home. Really want to come back before leaving to try the shrimp tacos."
"AMAZING!!! from the appetizers, to the drink, to the main meal... It was awesome! The staff was nice, and even though they were short, they were very attentive!"
"Lola's is a wonderful spot to visit! They are my go to for Sunday brunch. Typically we can get in pretty quick when we visit before 10 am which is a huge perk. I love their homemade pastries and baked goods! My wife and I always have to try a new one to split each time we go. I really enjoy their chocolate knots and chocolate chip cookies. When it comes to brunch, their sandwiches really stand out. I always get the Toastie. This is a sandwich with scrambled egg, prosciutto, and parmesan cheese on their house made focaccia bread. I have had this sandwich at least a dozen times and each time it is just as good as I remember it. All of the ingredients are so fresh and perfectly balanced. The service is very good! I have never had a less than stellar experience."
"Luckily when I first moved to Omaha this place showed up on door dash and it was our move in delivery lunch. I remember thinking whoa...I wonder if all the food in Omaha is this good. The turkey sandwich is INSANE. I'm not usually a fan of ciabatta because I always think it's going to be hard and scratch the roof of my mouth but Get Real toasts the bun like a magician and the bread is soft while perfectly crispy. The pecorino fries also slap. Have never had a meal here I didn't enjoy and the staff are always so kind. We walk with our dogs every now and then and eat on the patio with them. They provide a water bowl for the pups too."
"Great local coffee spot! Food is great and it's veteran owned. Service is always on the spot and coffee is fantastic!"
"Burgers were definitely award winning you must try the bourbon kickin cheeseburger! Great flavor with a little kick. You can taste its local beef. Toasted buns were soft flavorful as well. Homemade thin fries were great and crunchy. Did I mention endless fries! The waitress Amanda was super friendly and helpful. Even a free keychain as a parting gift. If you drive by Adair Iowa you must stop here!!"
"Leslie: "Why would anyone eat anything other than breakfast foods?" Ron: "People are idiots, Leslie."Early Bird is a great stop for either the savory or sweet style breakfast lover. Even greater to us with the newer location on Pacific...much closer. Breakfast Sammies. Benedicts. Bacon. All good, fresh and unique. Waffles: Belgian AND Churro Waffle options! Service is always quick and attentive. They keep my coffee filled up; helping me prepare to Carpe that Diem. Lots of seating, Including a multi season patio. You never really wait long; if at all."
"The new first watch is so nice! There is a bar outsideYou can sit at also. The food is fresh and delicious. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious. This may be our new breakfast spot!"
"Amazing!! A quaint but modern dinner. Comfortable and clean. Tables and booths available. We were told to sit anywhere and Tommy the owner, greeted us and brought our waters and menus immediately. Booths were good sized too. Didn't feel pinned in. Food was Amazing! We had the pork loin and a 3 piece fried chicken dinner. The pork loin was tender and juice with a nice seasoning. The fried chicken was perfect. Lightly breaded, very juicy and flavorful. The breading was excellent. Usually I'm picking it off because it's too much or over done but not here. I was looking for more little crunchy bits. They were out of baked potatoes but the mashed tasted from scratch and the country gravy was excellent. Definitely a must see. You know it's great when the locals eat there too!"
"Stopped for lunch on our way through Lincoln. Wanted lunch fare in a quick restaurant style way. This was perfect. You order at the counter, find your table, then your meal is delivered to your table. We wanted a soup salad or soup half sandwich type lunch. They didn't have that on the menu, instead we ordered a full club sandwich with a cup of soup on the side plus an extra cup of soup, Wah-lah soup and half a sandwich for two. Sandwich was good. Lots of turkey, crispy bacon, fresh veggies. Soup was good as well, curly egg noodles and chicken. Refillable fountain soda as well so we got one for the road. Loved the old time coolers, ovens, toys, etc that they had all around. Fun retro-vibe spot."
"I've been going to Le Peep for years. Each location I've been to has been solid. What I really like about this location is...the location. More of my friends/family are willing to check it out.Highly recommend the stuffed french toast and vanilla latte."
"This place has EVERYTHING I want. Ordering/paying is fast and easy. The food is incredible and so fresh. They have a variety of dishes from breakfast to lunch/dinner. They make their pasta in house and many of their pasta dishes are finished in the giant cheese wheel! I had the Bianca parmigiana on this visit and the pasta sauce/cheesiness was beyond perfection! They also have a drive thru window! AND amazing looking desserts too. I like that it's high quality food but not stuffy overly fancy decor, your food comes on an orange tray and you can sit anywhere. It's a good thing this restaurant is way across town from me, otherwise I would be showing up every week!"
"Early bird is the new hot spot for brunch. At least for my family. :) They have a so many options from pancakes, to sandwiches, creative dishes, to healthier traditional omelets. The service is excellent and always accommodating with our 11month old."
"The food is great, service is super friendly. Try the Sunshine, it's very good. The coffee is good black, as well."
"Dropped in for lunch based on the good vibes from a previous visit. Good food and service. Chips were fresh and tasty. I chose the Chicken Chimichanga with side salad and my girlfriend had the #3 Lunch of a Cheese Enchilada and Chicken Taco which were very good. A pleasant dining experience indeed."
