"Came here for open bowling and was not let down. It definitely has the feels of a local bowling alley, with mismatched balls, clay machines and a small bar.The best thing about this place is it was very affordable. It was 2.50 per game on a Tuesday night, and 2.50 for shoes. Definitely would go back here again!"
"Papio Bowl has been around for a long time and for good reason. It's an all-around nice bowling alley that's been recently updated, has decent food/drink and pleasant and responsive staff.I swung by to throw a few rocks at a fellow Yelper's birthday party. We had pizza, pop and beer. All pretty typical for bowling alley food, no frills and greasy. Just as it should be.The lights went low for cosmic bowling at around 8pm. The kids in the lane next to us had the gutter guards up. A few people were playing the arcade machines in the back. You can't really ask for much more from a bowling alley-a fun environment for all ages.If I didn't live 30 minutes away, this might become my go-to spot for bowling. It's a bit less rough-around the edges as some of the more old-school bowling alleys in town, but still has that classic feel."
"We went to Wonderbowl on a Wednesday at 4, and it was so fun! My parents had been there before, but it was my and my husband's first time. It is a very fun game to play. I don't like traditional bowling because it always pinches my fingers, so this mini ball was much easier for me to hold. It's easy to get a hang of the new version of the game too. They have a full bar, as well as food. The bartender was nice. I ordered an apple mimosa drink that was great! It's a fun atmosphere. I bet it's better at night. And they also have a great looking patio, but it's too cold right now for that haha."
"Western Bowl is your average bowling alley with all the normal aspects you would expect.Customer service was good, but, not overly friendly. Lanes were clean.Food was okay.Drinks were overpriced. All of the above is on par with every bowling alley we have been to and met the expectations we had walking in.Happy fun times Yelpers!"
"Wow, what a nice place! It's very clean. I was there right when they opened for the day, so it was pristine. Yes, it's a little pricey, but if I lived close enough to visit more frequently, I know there are perks to being a member through their app that would help with that. The claw machines were all quite difficult, which was what I expected, especially being there right as they opened. I did end up with maybe 2500 tickets to redeem. Their ticket prizes are "priced" quite a bit higher than what I feel like I've experienced at similar places such as Dave & Busters, Main Event & Great Wolf Lodge. But since I live hours away, I wanted to go ahead and redeem what I had earned for the day.I didn't necessarily find the employees to be all that friendly, although I didn't really have to interact with them much, mostly just the guy inthe "store" and he wasn't rude, but seemed a little like he's rather be anywhere but there. It's a stunning arcade though. It was so nice to be in an arcade that wasn't run down with broken machines, etc."
"My first impression of this place was wow whoever took this over gave it the much-needed facelift it deserved! As a first comer to the bowling alley, I was immediately impressed by not only the very modern, open spaced concept- many lanes, space for people to actually lounge and socialize while they're waiting their turn to bowl. Especially compared to other bowling alleys I've been to, it's much cleaner and organized than others- including restrooms. On top of that the staff were all amazing- big thanks to Debbie for making our experience even more fun!"
"We had a great first time bowling, prices are high everywhere but we felt the staff was helpful."
"Amazing service and always a fun place to have a birthday the arcade is scam tho but the bowling is fun"

This place used to be a pretty good time, particularly if you are the after-work happy hour crowd. But, as with most places, there are a few regular patrons that this bar could do without. The lonely flamboyant opinionated lesbian who will shamelessly interrupt your good time, just to let you know she exists. The old man with the scraggly beard and a lisp so strong you can't tell what language he speaks, but you nod along out of sympathy. The single mother of two who lets the kids run a muck, implementing a sort of kill-two-birds babysitting policy. It's a crap shoot. Any more I usually only stay for one, then I am done.

I have been coming here since I was little and have seen it change shape over the years. The lanes are clean and ready to go when you get there. The staff is super nice and accommodating to your needs. They have tons of different weighted balls for every bowler too. The food is great and the drink specials are super. Don't forget cosmic bowling! They really know how to bring the party!! Make sure to check their website for open bowling times as they do have several bowling leagues.

My friends and I went to Bob & Willies Wonderbowl and have a nice time. The only regret we had was not reserve for more than 1 hour. After your hour is up the lights off on your lane. They have a big bar with plenty of space to spread out. The food we had was good as well. Definitely would be back for an afternoon of fun.

Bowling balls were round. Front desk man was indeed an employee. Strikes and spares all around. Hope was found, dreams were crushed. No complaints other than the establishment is actually not very "western".

Love going here for the arcade games and claw machines. The staff is pretty friendly and the atmosphere is nice. It feels cleaner than a Dave and Buster's.I will say the claw machines can be a bit expensive on the credits side but the plushies and figurines that you can win are very good quality. I haven't had any with stitching issues.Bowling is also a little expensive although it's nice having everything under one roof (bowling, arcade, bollards, karaoke). Having a membership will help with the prices.Membership cards are $6 a year and if you plan on going maybe like once a month, I would sign up.

Since we recently checked out Bowlero in Elkhorn, we figured--why not give the Council Bluffs location a spin? We arrived right at opening, and with only a few cars in the parking lot, check-in was a breeze. Not only did we get a lane, but we scored two for our group of five--talk about VIP treatment!Walking in, I immediately noticed the snack bar's ordering window--it legit looked like a food truck. So cute! The bar area was also impressive--plenty of tables and space to hang out, making it feel more like a social spot than just a bowling alley. Once we got to our lanes, we laced up our (questionably stylish) bowling shoes and got rolling. The lanes were in great condition, with plenty of oil to keep those balls spinning. We had a minor hiccup with one lane's ball return, but the staff was on it immediately--crisis averted!Bowling without drinks? Not happening. We hit the bar and ordered a Power Tower of beer--because, honestly, are you even bowling without one?--plus a Strawberry Splash margarita for me and water for my nephew. I loved that they provided a full pitcher of water with glasses instead of just one cup--hydration matters! The beer tower was huge (and a little drippy) but perfect for our three beer drinkers. My margarita? Sweet, tart, and totally something I'd order again. With a full page of signature drinks, I might make it a mission to try them all.A few frames in, we decided it was snack time. We went with the Alley Sampler--Garlic Parm wings, chicken tenders, cheesy dippers, pretzel pins, and fries--plus an extra batch of Lemon Pepper wings. Ordering was easy--I just gave them our lane number, and they added it to the tab. This location didn't have mobile ordering like Elkhorn, but it wasn't a big deal. The food took about 30 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Bowlero's chicken tenders? Elite. Also, I liked that this location swapped out the mozzarella bites for cheesy dippers--nice little switch-up from the day before. As usual, my crew attacked the food before I could snap a pic, so you'll just have to trust me on this one!Bathroom check: It could've been cleaner. Since we were there right at opening, I expected it to be spotless, but it was okay. Also, no paper towels in the dispenser--had to use the air dryer. It got the job done, so it's all good. We played five games over three hours, and at no point did we feel rushed or crowded. I can't comment on the total damage on the day since I wasn't the one footing the bill (always a plus), but the experience was solid. My bowling skills? Still questionable, so I guess I'll have to keep returning for "practice!" Would I return? 100%! Next time, I'm trying another signature drink and maybe improving my score.

I love this bowling alley. But only is it close to my house, but it's just updated enough that it's a fun and vibrant environment but not so much so that it doesn't feel too hip. It's been a bowling staple for so many years. We came in in a Monday and secured a daily deal lane so we paid less than $30 for a lane and shoes for 90 minutes. Such a great deal. It was just two of us so we went through 5 games. I worked up a sweat ha. We optd for couple beers and had a blast. Highly recommend finding a deal and coming in for open bowling.

"They need to replace the carpet as it's a trip hazard. The machine don't work half the time. I do like the price on the bowling but feel that it needs major updates."
"I'm not a huge fan of bowling alleys traditionally, but Chops is a winner. Good prices for bowling and drinks, small somewhat hidden location, well maintained, clean with a vintage feel and grown-up regulars for clientele. Not too loud, not too gimmicky, and doesn't leave you with that dirty feeling that some other bowling alleys in town do."
"I haven't been to a bowling alley since my beloved Kelley's Hilltop shut its doors for good a few months ago. Luckily, West Lanes is still alive and kicking and close to where I live.It offers everything you want from a classic bowling experience: A musky smell still reminiscent of the good ol' days when everyone smoked inside. Bathrooms that haven't been updated for decades. A spattering of coin operated vending machines and games. A tacky lounge called Blue Magoo that features no fancy drinks and no craft beer. A menu of classic American favs made fresh to order -- we're talking cheeseburgers and fried pickles and all that jazz. Plus, pretty decent bowling lanes that automatically switch to "cosmic" mode once 9 p.m. hits on the weekends. And a decent crowd on a Saturday night to round things out.Yeah, I still enjoy grabbing a few friends, a couple pitchers of Keystone Light and throwing some rocks, and West Lanes is a perfect spot to do so."
"Great place for bowling and brews! The fried cauliflower is my favorite! Good place for a good meal!"
"This location is absolutely amazing! The Arcade, Laser Tag,Volleyball / Basketball Ball Courts are awesome. They have great bowling specials throughout the week making it very affordable. All arcade games are half price on Wednesday's! Check it out when you're in the area..."
"Throughout high-school, I was part of a bowling team for the school. After having issues with Western Bowl not oiling their lanes properly, our team decided to transfer over to Mockingbird for our weekly practices. Throughout my countless hours spent here, we never had any major problems. We held many practices here, as well as, Monday night bowling league."
"Looking for classic, no frills bowling, where the staff is courteous and the management go up and beyond? This is your place!! I'll admit I grew up visiting this place almost as much as my grandma's so the vintage decor not only doesn't phase me but it has a feel of home. Having said that, management does change over time and that's not always a guarantee. We just enjoyed an afternoon with our family this Christmas celebrating my dad's 80th birthday and JEN went out of her way to make everything smooth as silk!!! We reserved lanes in advance, her staff knew we were coming and pulled out all the stops. We had a tab for drinks and the only thing that could have made our day better is a burger by Fred (may he RIP). Thanks Parkway! I hope you continue on in Lincoln for many more years to come!!"
"Very pleasantly surprised. My sister and I's young kids wanted to go bowling, which is not something that we normally do. We stopped here because it was a great price ($5 per game per child) and they serve food. We went over the Christmas holiday and I loved that they were playing Christmas music and had the lights low with fun neon lights. The staff - specifically the woman at the checkout - was so delightful and helpful. The food was just fine. Plenty of options for children. My patty melt was too salty. They are very accommodating for children as far as equipment and bumper guards. We didn't even have to rent shoes because children are allowed to bowl in socks. The best part was letting our children experience what an old-school bowling alley is really like - minus the cigarettes and beer, of course. We will be back, especially during the winter when we need an indoor activity."
"Went here on a Tuesday and was harassed in the parking lot by a couple hobos. Got inside to find out that the person running the show was the only one there."
"Been here a couple times and both times had a good time. I have been both times on a Friday afternoon and I have to say.... I love the 90 minute bowling special for $12 a person. Keep that please. Great for families and very affordable. The lanes are spacious and people I interact there are nice. Also love the scoring done and ease of not needing to set it up ourself. Haven't tried any food yet.... But maybe next time. Will be back."
"This place is so much fun!! We enjoyed wonderbowl on a recent hot Sunday afternoon. We were able to get a same day lane reservation. Similar concept to bowling but with lighter/smaller ball and smaller pins.I love the option for some Nolis pizza while playing. Also fun to enjoy a few cocktails.Price was $43 for 4 of us to play for 1 hour, we will come again!"
"I need to post an update:They offered a summer kid's bowling deal that my wife purchased for $24, where kids bowl free and adults get 2 games a piece for the price of shoes. We've been there three times a week, the service has been better and this promotion is excellent for our five year old as well as our wallets."
