"First time here and we had a great time. We opted to sit inside, but there is an outside seating option as well. Lined the wall you will see wine everywhere. The wood was solid, and one of the highlights for us was actually the bread - unsure if they make it or buy it, but it was delicious. I also loved my beef bourguignon and would recommend that if it's on the menu.Other's rave about the hummus and I thought it was good, but don't think it was anything extraordinary."
"Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. It was recommended as I'm a beer "snob" by some friends. You get a wristband and pay by the ounce for your drinks, which is great when there are tons of options. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed with the beer selection, it was not at all interesting or new. They had the staples and some decent options, but nothing I hadn't tried before. Not one stout or porter (it's December for crying out loud). There were several cocktail options which my wife and her friends liked. We ordered 2 pizzas. The "Classic" was just ok, and the "Pokey Dokey" which was excellent. The restaurant itself is decorated really nicely. Fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, string lights, and what looked to be comfortable outdoor seating. We sat inside (it was 10 degrees out) and unfortunately got a wobbly table :( The service was very good, the people working the register were full of smiles and the manager even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere than the bar scene, but still get some decent drinks and ambiance."
"Everything was so good! We had a new to the cuisine participant and he was instantly in love. Try the Korma"
"When you think about Spirit World - you think wine. Think again. Of course they're still known for their large selections of wines (and always will). However, they've stepped up their game (maybe I'm just behind), but they are also well stocked when it comes to varieties of well known alcoholic brands, and their bartenders are more than eager to make you a specialty drink to your liking. My husband is always happy to find a bartender who's open to challenge by making him a specialty drink. It's a win-win situation. My husband gets to try out a new drink especially created for him and the bartender gets to experiment and better his craft! The photos provided was the process making the drink. I videotaped the finale' having smoke etc unfortunately, Yelp doesn't seem to allow video uploads. Stop by and see Sam!"
"This was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and charcuterie board on a beautiful patio! We had the meat tray and cheese tray, split the pig and fig bruschetta, and I had the green thumb panini. The trays were fantastic. The bruschetta was very good, but the serving was small for the price, and my panini was delicious! I loved the frose - sweet and strong!"

I've live in Omaha almost all my life and I'm ashamed that this was my first time. We finally had a Saturday night off so my husband and I decided to treat ourselves. We only waited about 10 minutes to snag a seat on the patio. It only looked like they had 2 servers and they were both so nice and helpful. Our main server was welcoming and offered suggestions. Even being off the main strip of downtown, restaurant so cozy and reminds me of a visit to a grocery/restaurant in Europe. We started with a bottle of wine from the store. They had a huge selection and the prices were reasonable and less than $5 corkage fee. For food, we started with the burrata caprese, and of course, the bread and butter that comes with the table. The pesto that came on the caprese was incredible, just slightly nutty but so smooth. The bread was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. If I could get away with eating the butter straight, I would...I ordered the short rib and it came with horseradish potatoes verts. The short rib was slightly crusty on the outside and just fell apart when you cut into it. The potatoes were fluffy, not too strong with horseradish but enough to give it a nice flavor. I couldn't get enough of this dish!My husband got the duck leg confit. It also just fell off the bone, and it was very rich and delicious. The real star of the dish was the creamy, savorycabbage side. Growing up polish, I've had my share of cabbage but this was on a new level. All in all, this will not be our last visit!

This place NEVER disappoints. I really love how this is outside turner park, allowing for a pretty view if choosing to eat outside. I really love the all day happy hour on Sunday combined with the free parking on Sundays. This makes for a nice little lunch date as a college student. With that, the food always hits the spot. I'd have to say, my favorite is the bbq chicken pizza. I'd have to say, they have a nice variety of pizza already but the addition of a custom pizza makes this place even better. I highly recommend for those with family visiting, needing a lunch date, or anyone hoping for some good tasting pizza!!

We came to Maharaja after being on the road and eating nothing but junk for the past few days. We were lucky to find this little gem. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious and the portions were much larger than you typically get at other Indian food restaurants. We left feeling full and taken care of. Highly recommend stopping here the next time you are trying to decide where to go for dinner.

Spiritworld, as the name would indicate, offers a wide variety of liquors...but also with a full bar inside that offers small lunch options. It really is a great place to roam the aisles looking at the wide variety of tequilas, whiskeys, wines, or whatever your vice happens to be.The layout is simple, inviting, and well executed. It is quite easy to find whatever you are looking for, and if you can't, there are plenty of experts on hand to help with finding a certain bottle, or giving a recommendation. If you can't find something to please you here, you are in trouble of finding it.The only drawback is it slightly above average prices. One of my favorite whiskeys ran about 10-15% above other places I could find it...however, for the convenience of Spirit World having EVERYTHING in one place, I understand the slightly raised prices on lower-end liquors. The experience is much different than say...a corner liquor mart.

I went to the rockbrook location for the first time last week and had such a fabulous time! I was so surprised to find out they also have a patio as that was one of the reasons we'd been going to the black stone location more than this one but this is much closer to our house! Everything I tried was phenomenal from the wine to the bread and oil--I could eat a whole entire loaf of the bread and oil! Our server was so amazing and attentive even with such a big group! We will definitely be back soon for date night!

Service was good. The waitress was super helpful and patient when I was trying to make my beer selection. The food was mediocre. The chicken Alfredo was fine (I asked for no parsley due to allergy and kitchen still put it on- luckily it wasn't a lot so I was able to pick it off) but the kids pizza had a weird taste. I've had better food at chain diners.

This little wine shop is more than I expected. I've been happy every time I left with the exception of when I can't get a chair. That's not a bad thing, I'm glad they are doing good business. One unique thing here---they have sort of a session type of music set up once a week where musicians of all levels can get a chance to perform. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I love that they support music that way. Of course they also have scheduled performers. If you want to kill some time, try some wine or whiskey, and maybe have a snack, these people are friendly and will give you some guidance on choices. I even tried a bacon bourbon!

I came here with my brother and cousins as we all came together for a family gathering in Omaha this past weekend. The locals in the group had frequented the Old Mill Lounge so we came here to drink a little and reminisce.Since I live in Vegas, I am used to paying large amounts of money for a draft beer or any sort of drink. I offered to pay for 2 beers and a drink when we got there and the total was $9.50! I was expecting more. Draft beers were bud light, bud light wheat, miller lite and sam adams, so most of us went for sam adams. We ended up getting a pitcher of it later for $12.The bar had a large TV showing the Olympics, couches, chairs, pool table, etc. I definitely used the touch tunes jukebox to play some Depeche Mode and Led Zeppelin in the bar. This is a cool and affordable place to hang out and grab a beer. I even brought along adult mad libs and we did those while drinking and had a good laugh.

"Great new addition to the Kearney restaurant scene, right off I-80 and smack dab in the middle of the hotel hub. The lineup of Nebraska brews is reason enough to stop. The menu is anything but limited, so it was hard to make a selection. Went with the Bison Meatloaf, and was not disappointed. Fries were crispy, and the bbq beans were solid. Want to try the duck gumbo next time. Service was great, and the place was clean and modern. The pasta looked great, as did most everything else. Cool place with great beers and grub."
"Vino Mas has the cozy wine store feel downpat while also providing enough seating strategically placed for small groups to unwind with some wine. Their outside patio is slightly small but I blame that more on location, the complex they're in has very little outdoor space. Wine "accessories" intertwine the wine racks and the checkout counter/bar is large enough for their wine tastings. The staff is very friendly and helpful in picking just the right wine for your enjoyment.Nice variety of House wines for Happy Hour, enjoyed the Torrontes last time I visited."
"Dark, divey, and a bit mysterious, the Old Mill Lounge is tucked away next to Cunningham's and New York Burrito. You know, the strip mall in the shadow of TD Ameritrade HQ.We stopped by for a couple drinks and some Funyuns on a Saturday night. The place was not busy. There were a few regulars at the bar drifting outside on occasion to smoke. The rest of the bar had younger couples quietly talking to each other at the various tables. The bartender was super nice and even offered table service. Drag racing was on the the big screen.A glass of wine and an Lagunitas draught was about $10. There's also a kitchen that serves up typical bar food, but it had closed down by 10pm.There's a review that says this bar feels like a basement from the '70s. Pretty accurate, although I'd add that it's feels like a basement that hasn't been remodeled since the '70s. I dug it. I'd go back."
"Seriously love this little shop.We are in Lincoln every holiday season, so we always make a stop here. Great beer selection and a big wall of singles to build a 6 pack. (super limited wine selection - don't come for that!)But the best part is that they have a taproom/bar in the back! Really, really good beers on tap, many local. You can get small pours to try more, or take a crowler home. The staff are all really nice and very knowledgeable on beers - both local and otherwise."
"No wonder there is no rating for this place. You have to be nuts to go in there by yourself and a stranger in town. (See my photo and judge for yourself) You need to go with someone that knows this neighborhood. When I got directions to this place from the car rental counter, they strongly recommended that I don't even drive down to that side of town. I couldn't quite tell if they were worried about my safety or more worried about their new car in that neighborhood.......3 stars for a neutral vote for now.....anyone want to carpool down there?.....and anyone 6'5", 300 lbs and played for the Cornhuskers?"
"Saw that they have pizza now, nabbed myself a slice and it was really tasty. Toppings were great, and had a good ratio of cheese, sauce and meat. It's a little greasy but as most pizza is. Definitely Worth a try ! The kitchen is a new addition and looks good. And Danny always gives the best customer service. Makes you feel like a friend or family when you're in there. Pizza 6.5/10 service 10/10."
