"Fun spot! I like coming here with friends to catch up, meet new people or just relax after a long week. It's a great place to people watch. Mostly a college crowd to those in their thirties. The indoor area is fairly small or it feels that way when it's full but they have a decent sized outdoor space/courtyard as well. The drinks are reasonably priced. No complaints. Overall I like and would recommend it!"
"We ended up spending an hour at this place even though we initially came in thinking to just pick up a few items. The store is huge and very well organized -the sheer variety they offer is impressive. Very well lit and clearly marked aisles really help with navigation . Staff is very helpful and offer recommendations and suggestions if you ask ."
"Store is really nice and well kept! Lay put is easy to find with everything easily labeled! Large selections of beers in coolers as well as wines. Came in for a local bottle of wine before I left the state. Staff was super friendly and knowledgable! Awesome at answering questions when I asked about a beer for my husband. A great place with a great selection and really nice staff! Prices are not marked up too bad above the actual vineyards pricing!! Their other prices and specials are also great! Especially for unique items and hard to find items! They also will call you when an item is in if it's out of stock!"
"We had a really great experience with them. We bought a keg of Rolling Rock for New Year's and I called ahead to make sure they could get that. They didn't typically order RR but were able to accommodate and the pick up process was easy. They gave us everything we needed, even a plastic trash can to ice it. It was an easy experience and we had an easy time working with their employees. Thanks!! Would definitely go to them next time we need a keg in Lincoln."
"I found this place by chance, went in without really looking for something in particular. I was pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of wines, liquors, premade cocktails, and beer. We spend about an hour looking and still did not get to see the back of the store...they also have a spot for tastings. I found a tequila that I've been casually looking for, for two years ( one that my sister had at her wedding). The prices are competitive, it's clean and organized and the staff was friendly."
"Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. It was recommended as I'm a beer "snob" by some friends. You get a wristband and pay by the ounce for your drinks, which is great when there are tons of options. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed with the beer selection, it was not at all interesting or new. They had the staples and some decent options, but nothing I hadn't tried before. Not one stout or porter (it's December for crying out loud). There were several cocktail options which my wife and her friends liked. We ordered 2 pizzas. The "Classic" was just ok, and the "Pokey Dokey" which was excellent. The restaurant itself is decorated really nicely. Fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, string lights, and what looked to be comfortable outdoor seating. We sat inside (it was 10 degrees out) and unfortunately got a wobbly table :( The service was very good, the people working the register were full of smiles and the manager even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere than the bar scene, but still get some decent drinks and ambiance."
"Very nice collection of wines. The gentleman working there was more than willing to offer suggestions or answer any questions. Very inviting, I felt like I was visiting the private wine collection in someone's home. There's a lovely restaurant attached I hope to check out before I leave town."
"When you think about Spirit World - you think wine. Think again. Of course they're still known for their large selections of wines (and always will). However, they've stepped up their game (maybe I'm just behind), but they are also well stocked when it comes to varieties of well known alcoholic brands, and their bartenders are more than eager to make you a specialty drink to your liking. My husband is always happy to find a bartender who's open to challenge by making him a specialty drink. It's a win-win situation. My husband gets to try out a new drink especially created for him and the bartender gets to experiment and better his craft! The photos provided was the process making the drink. I videotaped the finale' having smoke etc unfortunately, Yelp doesn't seem to allow video uploads. Stop by and see Sam!"
"this is a fantastic little corner market.. they are adding new things daily .. I live a short walk away and it's nice to see a little business give our neighborhood a try .. they have discount tobacco and liquor as well as misc grocery items.. bagged ice as well.. they are friendly I am enjoying watching it blossom"
"This bar has a great "small town feel" which I personally love. Everyone here knows everyone which is fun plus they have dart boards, shuffle board and pool. Unfortunately no foosball table (a personal favorite). Good beer selection. I didn't realize they have food which I never got a chance to look at. But overall a good local bar to come and have a chill night. I can't wait to come here for a winter Sunday funday and just hang out! While writing this review I just noticed they have life size Jenga and cornhole boards. You may be finding me here a lot!"
"I should probably mention... I don't drink alcohol... So this review won't mention that ha!My date and I came in as part of a little Blackstone crawl we stitched together, and we are so glad we added it to the list for the day. We specifically came for a cheese board and a complimentary truffle parmesan popcorn (thanks Yelp check-in offer!) The pairings this time:Pesto cheese with marinated grapes (my date's fave)Smoked blue cheese with an onion jam (my fave)??? With honey walnutsThey were each wonderful, and we happily polished it off with 0 regret. The popcorn was not exactly what I'd expected, but it was a unique take, I was glad to try it. The have much larger space than I'd anticipated, so plenty of room to stretch your legs, spread out with a small crew, etc. They also have a few seating options out back with fire pits, if it's a chilly evening. Preston was the one man show (as far as wait staff goes) and he was prompt, helpful, and very attentive! We were very pleased with his service."
"This lil liquor store packs a serious punch. They cram ALOT of variety in these little walls. They have a great small little selection of craft beers and just about any kinda beer in the big can size you would take to a house party or beach. The staff is pretty cool, but i dont always try to chat them up unless its really slow. Never leave me Liquor Cabinet... your my only friend. heh."

A number of local hot-shots were here on my last visit. It was the night of a Husker victory, and a friend of mine had dragged out of my hole-in-the-wall bar to accompany him to The Bar. The line was long and cold, but the clientele was hot...it appeared that most of the women had freshly bleached their hair, just for their night at The Bar. These are the women of the Big XII. I situated myself at a stool by the pool table, my eyes on the hottest girl in the bar, waiting for her to come talk to me...but then what should happen but she is approached by the middle linebacker for the Bucs and falls headlong into conversation. An urge to drink surged up in me, but luckily the bar was too crowded and so I sat patiently and received several old friends for conversation. My advice is to get out of here before last call, because things can get sloppy. I only come here twice a year...if I knew this place any better, I would probably rate it much lower.

This business is our go-to for restocking our liquor shelf. They have nearly everything, and the price is right.Parking is plentiful at this location, if busy. I have yet to park very far or wait very long for parking. The business is huge. It's a giant liquor store. They also have cigars. There is a wealth of every kind of alcohol you seek. Again, the price is right.Wouldn't be fair if I didn't mention the helpful staff. They always seem to know where my selections lie. Will definitely return.

This is the place to go if you're looking to buy specialty beers or find a new favorite wine. If you want to get something special to serve, check this place out.Forget grocery stores or the Quick-E-Mart if you want something special. You can find all sorts of imports & varieties here. They do monthly free wine tastings & they know their beer. They do special orders, & they even put out a newsletter. THAT is love.NOTE: As I post this, the wrong address is listed. The Still has moved from 48th into a bigger location at 6820 S 70th St. (next to Home Depot at 70th & Pine Lake Rd.)

Being a new, albeit temporary, member of the Lincoln community, it is always good to know where you can obtain a donkey* keg of microbrew at say, 11pm when your friends from Los Angeles are visiting. This is the place. Not only will they sell & load your keg, they will give you cups. "We need not your plastic cups, fine fellows! For we use frosty, frosty mugs or nothing at all!"*Donkey keg = 60 beers. Cheers, I say!

This is your one stop shop for alcohols and some cool gifts. They have a great selection of whiskey, bourbon, beer, and every other alcohol and mixers you can think of. I think it's always easy to walk in, grab what you need, and check out. The staff is always very friendly and quick to check you out. Make sure you sign up for their rewards tracker with your phone number too.

This place NEVER disappoints. I really love how this is outside turner park, allowing for a pretty view if choosing to eat outside. I really love the all day happy hour on Sunday combined with the free parking on Sundays. This makes for a nice little lunch date as a college student. With that, the food always hits the spot. I'd have to say, my favorite is the bbq chicken pizza. I'd have to say, they have a nice variety of pizza already but the addition of a custom pizza makes this place even better. I highly recommend for those with family visiting, needing a lunch date, or anyone hoping for some good tasting pizza!!

Spiritworld, as the name would indicate, offers a wide variety of liquors...but also with a full bar inside that offers small lunch options. It really is a great place to roam the aisles looking at the wide variety of tequilas, whiskeys, wines, or whatever your vice happens to be.The layout is simple, inviting, and well executed. It is quite easy to find whatever you are looking for, and if you can't, there are plenty of experts on hand to help with finding a certain bottle, or giving a recommendation. If you can't find something to please you here, you are in trouble of finding it.The only drawback is it slightly above average prices. One of my favorite whiskeys ran about 10-15% above other places I could find it...however, for the convenience of Spirit World having EVERYTHING in one place, I understand the slightly raised prices on lower-end liquors. The experience is much different than say...a corner liquor mart.

"Very friendly staff. They have a wide variety of choices for a variety of preferences."
"Vino Mas has the cozy wine store feel downpat while also providing enough seating strategically placed for small groups to unwind with some wine. Their outside patio is slightly small but I blame that more on location, the complex they're in has very little outdoor space. Wine "accessories" intertwine the wine racks and the checkout counter/bar is large enough for their wine tastings. The staff is very friendly and helpful in picking just the right wine for your enjoyment.Nice variety of House wines for Happy Hour, enjoyed the Torrontes last time I visited."
"Great vibe Good drinksOne of the better tiki bars I have done to around the country Can get a bit crowded Good place to go for a drink before or after dinner somewhere"
"No wonder there is no rating for this place. You have to be nuts to go in there by yourself and a stranger in town. (See my photo and judge for yourself) You need to go with someone that knows this neighborhood. When I got directions to this place from the car rental counter, they strongly recommended that I don't even drive down to that side of town. I couldn't quite tell if they were worried about my safety or more worried about their new car in that neighborhood.......3 stars for a neutral vote for now.....anyone want to carpool down there?.....and anyone 6'5", 300 lbs and played for the Cornhuskers?"
"With a name like the "Toddy Shop", I have to give it four stars. Their beer cave has a good selection of brands, and is definitely the oasis for a beer snob who finds themselves in Ne City for a month!"
"Closest liquor store to the Horseshoe. Was seeking out some craft beer, selection is a little sparse. Not much local beer stocked. Great staff and convenience factor gets this place 4 stars."
"We came here with some friend on a Saturday afternoon. The place is clean, quiet, well kept and they had the basketball game playing. They have a nice sitting area inside as well as outside in the patio. The beer selection was nice, they serve craft beers on tab from a variety of local breweries. You are welcomed to bring you own food/snacks. The service was prompt and friendly."
"Great new addition to the Kearney restaurant scene, right off I-80 and smack dab in the middle of the hotel hub. The lineup of Nebraska brews is reason enough to stop. The menu is anything but limited, so it was hard to make a selection. Went with the Bison Meatloaf, and was not disappointed. Fries were crispy, and the bbq beans were solid. Want to try the duck gumbo next time. Service was great, and the place was clean and modern. The pasta looked great, as did most everything else. Cool place with great beers and grub."
"I have been a Sickie's fan since a friend introduced me to the Overland Park, KS site. Had no idea there was in Omaha!Wait staff was great! Personable, attentive, and knowledgeable! I enjoyed the Kobe Black and Blue burger with sweet potato fries and my dining partner had the doughnut burger. I LOVE my Black and Blue with rich flavor, topped with blue cheese and peppered bacon. The doughnut burger was good..an interesting twist with a sweet side. The sweet po fries are always yummy and makes me feel like I'm eating healthy! We were seated in an area off the main DR and it was reasonably quiet and two TV's could be viewed by both of us. Others were seated in the area and the noise level was still good and we could hold a conversations without raising our having to raise our voices.Highly recommend and will be back!"
"Seriously love this little shop.We are in Lincoln every holiday season, so we always make a stop here. Great beer selection and a big wall of singles to build a 6 pack. (super limited wine selection - don't come for that!)But the best part is that they have a taproom/bar in the back! Really, really good beers on tap, many local. You can get small pours to try more, or take a crowler home. The staff are all really nice and very knowledgeable on beers - both local and otherwise."
"This is a nice little small town bar; it's almost like an Irish pub if the Irish were farmers in eastern Nebraska. If you are in Tekamah after 9:00, this is your only option in town for a drink in a social atmosphere. This is a bar in a town where everyone knows everyone, but if you are from out of town they are still a friendly crowd, especially the owner. They have a pool table, jukebox, and two TV screens for watching sports. They have some pub food for sale and some nice drink specials (Rolling Rock for $2.50). I would recommend the bar for being a good place to get reasonably priced drinks; my tab after five drinks was $12.50.My only complaint is the lack of diversity in beer selection. They don't have taps so all the beer comes from bottles or cans. They have Bud, Coors, Corona, Hamm's, Guinness, Rolling Rock, and Leinenkugel, but it would have been nice if they'd had a little more in the craft beer selection, like Boulevard or whatever else is brewed in the Midwest."
"Couple that run this are always friendly and helpful and out going. They stock quiet a bit if different stuff, most chilled and ready to go which is s bonus if you're in the area too be at one if the local lakes or grilling out. They do accept credit debit cards. They also offer some snacks etc, and its more reasonable priced than the gas station just up the block."
"This was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and charcuterie board on a beautiful patio! We had the meat tray and cheese tray, split the pig and fig bruschetta, and I had the green thumb panini. The trays were fantastic. The bruschetta was very good, but the serving was small for the price, and my panini was delicious! I loved the frose - sweet and strong!"
"All around fantastic experience! I met a group of friends to try this place out and had a great time. There was a fish fry going on but I'm not big on fish, thankfully they still offer their full menu as well. A couple people in my group had the fish and said it was great. My test of a bar is always a patty melt because it is easy to screw up but when it's right it's right and they NAILED it. The patty melt was so juicy and well seasoned and they did something with the onions (maybe slightly pre grilled) where they didn't have the pungency of raw onion but still had the snap. I'm home now and am already thinking about when I can go back. This place will be in heavy rotation for us. The fries and breaded mushrooms were standard bar fair but good. On tap the beer was limited but they had blue moon available which works for me. They have chili which someone at my table got and it is on my list to try next go around. It looked and smelled fantastic. All around a gem of a find I wasn't expecting."
"Love this place. Support local small businesses! Great bourbon selection, great craft beers too, BUT check dates on those IPAs"
"Their micro brew selection and wine is not the best but they have the basics. As for liquor they seem to have it all. Nice to have a place to go close to home!"
"This is a really solid liquor store. It's relatively new and I stopped in yesterday. Very friendly owner who was interested in helping, offering suggestions, as well as samples. Pricing was good and he had a few bourbons I'm not used to seeing them in the Omaha area. I will definitely shop here again."
"Saw that they have pizza now, nabbed myself a slice and it was really tasty. Toppings were great, and had a good ratio of cheese, sauce and meat. It's a little greasy but as most pizza is. Definitely Worth a try ! The kitchen is a new addition and looks good. And Danny always gives the best customer service. Makes you feel like a friend or family when you're in there. Pizza 6.5/10 service 10/10."
"Bob's is a nice bar for the Havelock area. They have plenty of room. Prices of drinks are very reasonable. Most of the patrons are friendly and sociable. I always have a good time when I am there."
"Dark, divey, and a bit mysterious, the Old Mill Lounge is tucked away next to Cunningham's and New York Burrito. You know, the strip mall in the shadow of TD Ameritrade HQ.We stopped by for a couple drinks and some Funyuns on a Saturday night. The place was not busy. There were a few regulars at the bar drifting outside on occasion to smoke. The rest of the bar had younger couples quietly talking to each other at the various tables. The bartender was super nice and even offered table service. Drag racing was on the the big screen.A glass of wine and an Lagunitas draught was about $10. There's also a kitchen that serves up typical bar food, but it had closed down by 10pm.There's a review that says this bar feels like a basement from the '70s. Pretty accurate, although I'd add that it's feels like a basement that hasn't been remodeled since the '70s. I dug it. I'd go back."
"Friendly service, nice atmosphere, BEST BEER GARDEN around! The owners always support the community in fundraising events. One of the best bars in town!"
"Not a frequent customer but I've been coming here for a few years now. No matter who's working the staff has always been very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Plus they have a great selection. The recommendations are good too. I was looking for a rye whiskey and the Sagamore Rye turned out to be an excellent recommendation."
"First time here and we had a great time. We opted to sit inside, but there is an outside seating option as well. Lined the wall you will see wine everywhere. The wood was solid, and one of the highlights for us was actually the bread - unsure if they make it or buy it, but it was delicious. I also loved my beef bourguignon and would recommend that if it's on the menu.Other's rave about the hummus and I thought it was good, but don't think it was anything extraordinary."
