"We stopped here again before another hockey game, and I was surprised they had the full menu available from what it appeared. We went with the butchers pizza that tasted amazing. This was my first time with Detroit style pizza and it did not disappoint. I also ordered the bacon cheddar sticks that were very good as well. Our pizza easily fed my husband and myself, and we took home leftovers. They have a decent selection on the menu, so I definitely plan to visit again and try something different."
"Came here for lunch and left impressed and planning our next visit! They have a variety of options for food and drink, which all sound delicious! The waitress was great at checking in on us but allowing us to yap away without interruption! Food was delicious, I tried the 30hop burger, which was cooked to perfection and fries had the best crunch! The atmosphere was perfect for catching up with an old friend, while still having a view of whatever sports games you'd like to watch. We both made several comments on how we enjoyed the vibe of this restaurant, the TVs were in perfect spots but were not overpowering the ambiance in any way! Great place to appease all crowds!"
"I'm not a beer fan, so it's great that they also have a distillery! Sometimes I feel left out at places because I don't like beer but not here! I had a drink that I'm pretty sure was called Bouquet of Newly Sharpened Pencils (wack name lol) that was DELICIOUS! It's a White Russian with a choice of Cut Spike flavored vodka. I tried the drink with peanut butter and the second time with Salted Caramel. GET THE PEANUT BUTTER!! It was heaven in a cup! The salted caramel was good but tasted pretty much just like a normal White Russian in my opinion. This place is pretty big and has a big room for private parties. My friends band was playing when I went so that made for a really fun time! The waitstaff was good but could have been a smidge friendlier (not that they were mean at all, they just could've smiled a bit more)."
"I had read the reviews before I came in so I knew that dogs were allowed! We brought my dog and they even provided him a water bowl! We chose 2 beers. The Stout was as expected, rich, deep flavor yet smooth and delicious! The Bahama llama was unexpectedly delicious as well. It's a seltzer smoothie style beer infused with pineapple, coconut and it essentially taste like a fizzy piña colada. Really fun drink! I love that they have dates lined up with food trucks and have even included the Huskers games. I look forward to coming here and hanging out with friends and enjoying future games here!"
"Always cold! My sister held my nieces' graduation party here in June and it was perfect! Acoustics are not great, but they are not going to be in an open room like that! It was easy to decorate, the taps were flowing for adults, and everyone had a blast! We brought in all of our food and they were so gracious and easy to work with. Just be warned, if you want access to the patio for use, that is going to cost you!"
"Super chill bar! It's got a new, clean, hip vibe to it. Plenty of parking nearby. They have a bunch of fun cocktails, they just put up their summer menu when I stopped by. The bartender is super nice and knowledgeable."
"This is a family favorite for us. The wait staff are awesome with our preschooler, and the food is great. We especially enjoy the patio when the weather is nice."
"A bowling alley bar, but separated enough from the bowling alley to take on its own personality. Part sports bar, part lounge, with an outdoor area called The Beach Club. The bar has an unusual, complicated layout that puts the bartender at the same level as some of the customers, but reaching up from a pit to serve other customers. This was a pretty decent place, with enough personality and amenities to make it fun. Not bad at all for a bowling alley bar."
"This is a decent Tanner's location. The chicken "lips", burgers, tots and fries are their strong suit. Today I made the mistake of straying into their Mexican offerings. I had the chicken taco special. It was pretty bad. They use ground chicken, which is not to my taste. I should have known better. The salsa is also pretty bad. Oh, and the chocolate cake, also not good. They drizzle Hershey's chocolate syrup over it for some reason which makes it extra bad.So why 3 stars? They have a very personable server in Rain. She made our dining experience fun. That counts for lot in my book. Also, this bad lunch was partially my fault. Tanner's does fried bar food well. Go off the beaten path at your own peril."
"Great place, stumbled upon it.Love the place, very simple great service and quite a selection of tap beer! Several local beers as well."
"This is the best homebrew supply store in Omaha! Easily! The owners are great people; very friendly and helpful for any of your brewing needs. They have an awesome selection of brewing equipment and ingredients. If they don't have what you are looking for they will happily order it in for you. They offer classes and events to help promote the homebrewing activity. The store is clean and easy to navigate. When gathering your recipe mill your malts on site for free, they have a variety of hops including local options and whole leaf, and they offer numerous varieties of yeast. Homebrewers of all levels will enjoy this store. Check them out!"
"We stopped here on our way to the Warren Co fair, I chose this place based on prior reviews on Yelp. There was a car show on at the time, so the menu was limited.. But the service was friendly. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and was thrilled.. the burger was tender, juicy, and delicious, and my fries were cooked perfectly. My husband had the fish and chips and enjoyed it as well. If we're in the area again, we will stop here again."

I am obsessed with this pizza place! I went to the Elkhorn location months ago, and can't stop thinking about the texture and taste of these Detroit pizzas. This was my first time coming to the Aksarben location, and it was a much different vibe from the standard restaurant experience we had in Elkhorn. I made a reservation for 8, and the day before our dinner, the manager called to let me know it was a UNO hockey night, so they couldn't get us in until a little later than planned. This worked fine for us, and the manager was very nice about it.When calling ahead to make my reservation, I mentioned bringing in a cake for a birthday, and they said there was no problem with putting this in the back and no charge for us to eat it there. When my party got there, we were told there was no freezer space for our ice cream cake -- this was my bad, I should have clarified over the phone this needed a freezer rather than a fridge! Luckily, they recommended cold Stone next-door, and the staff there allowed us to store our cake for an hour free of charge!!The overall venue here is much more like a sports bar than a restaurant. It was very loud at all times, although it was only about half full at the later time we came in. There were some fun table games to play like tic-tac-toe, connect the dots, And table shots. There is a pretty limited bar menu, as they are primarily known for their beers on tap, of which they have plenty! The mule I got was fine.I absolutely love the butchers word pizza, it has all the toppings I like, and they are very generous with these! My friend got a regular pepperoni pizza, and when I tried it, I realized the reason I love this spot so much is the oil they use on their pizza dough-- this sees into the dough, and gives it such an amazing flavor. Unfortunately, my pizza here had a thicker crust. Then the butchers word I got in Elkhorn, so it wasn't quite as good. Still a great pizza, but not the high I was chasing From a couple months ago!All in all, I would prefer to return to the Elkhorn location for a quieter restaurant vibe, and probably a more consistent product without event driven business.

We tried 30Hop after seeing a lot of social media hype, and we were not disappointed! It was crowded, but we only waited 10 mins to be seated. The menu is huge and has an interesting variety: sandwiches, tacos, noodle bowls, rice bowls...there is something for everyone! I had the turkey pesto sandwich, and it was sooo good. It was large enough that I took half home. My husband loved his tacos too and felt like they were a good portion. He did note that the chips would have been better warm and there wasn't enough salsa for the portion of chips. There were tons of great menu options; we will be back!

We came in to try a couple of beer flights here. The ambiance was nice - CWS was on, tall ceilings and lots of light from the windows. Plenty of what appeared to be regulars in as well.My flight was more of the seasonal light and fruity. Unfortunately, none really stood out to me and I wouldn't come back for those specific ones. My husband had a couple that I'd drink - especially with some brats or steaks: a seasonal chili one, Certified Evil (oatmeal stout - chewy, but good), and another seasonal(?) dark that was by far the best. (We think a cocoa one)What I really liked was the fact that the server wrote on the flight board what each one was - that's what every place should do!I'd be happy to go back and try some of the darks - which I'm not normally a fan of.

My wife and I met up with some friends to check out the brand new Corn Coast Brewing Company. Between the 4 of us we tried a lot of the beer menu and really enjoyed every drink! Favorites were the Secret Potion (sour), Imaginationland (hazy ipa), and 1st Stout & 10.For only being open 1 month the taproom was fairly busy. Plenty of parking, and they welcome pets!

The selection of brews here always has something I'm in awe of. There are a lot of breweries in the Omaha area and it's really easy to miss some of the goods ones, but I would highly recommend taking the time to get to this one. It's in a great location and the patio seating is great. The interior has plenty of seating for bigger groups as well. Overall just a fantastic place for great beer!!

This is a great spot for boujee cocktails! Totally my vibe, and plenty to choose from. The atmosphere is nice and classy, not too loud, and a patio outside. Not very large (one bartender on staff the Tuesday night I came), but busier during a week night than I expected.I tried to order a few drinks according to the menu I found online, and was told that was outdated. So be prepared to look up the QR code and choose from an entirely different set of drinks. No problem, the one I got tasted amazing! Their happy hour is also a great deal for the level of drinks you get.You can order from Pulled BBQ (through their phone number) and they will deliver it here for free. We enjoyed barbecue with our drinks!I would definitely come back!

"I loved this place. While I did not have any margaritas I was very impressed with the food. I got the Pollo Fundido and was impressed. The chorizo was fantastic great flavor while not heavy on the cinnamon. The chicken was very well seasoned and crispy yet juicy. The Al pastor was also amazing. I read some of the reviews after already eating here and I don't think some people know what authentic Mexican is and maybe need to stick to taco bell. This is the real deal. The staff were all super friendly and very welcoming. Next time I visit Omaha this will for sure by a stop."
"Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of the food here. They had several options for kids meals, which makes this a great place for families. Friday they have a happy hour that goes until 6 PM, which gives you $2 street tacos, and deals on margaritas and beer. I tried most of the street tacos...some of them were good and a couple of them were great. I was pleasantly surprised by the chorizo taco. I have had several disappointing ones in the past, but this had a nice spice level, it wasn't too dried out because the meat is ground up, it wasn't greasy...it was fantastic. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Carnitas. This is another one of the street tacos that typically gets dried out or bland. But not the case at bomb taco! Succulent meat and nicely flavored. The tacos were served with plenty of fresh limes, and they didn't scrimp on the fillings. The small corn tortillas were filled up, nearly completely. The main drawback was that they were understaffed. I felt bad for the gal who was working behind the register. She was the only one to handle taking orders, bringing food out from the window, and cleaning the entire dining room. She was a busy gal with a smile on her face so props to her. But it did make the wait longer for everyone involved."
"Not only do they have snacks, they make a fine cocktail, and have a very wide selection of beers. Also selections of ciders, sours, seltzers, and wines. It's excellent. The parking is okay. I'm here in opening hours, and it's packed out there. Not sure whose biz is flooded. This fine location has several people, but most arrived after me. Cools folks, too, FWIW The bar is rustic wood, with worn wood barstools. Charming. There are a varied set of tables with comfortable seats. While not huge, it's a reasonable sized bar. One TV at the far side of the bar.The bartender is cool. Someone called her Charlie and she responded. Served me a Manhattan with double the sweet vermouth, as requested. Hasn't quit moving. Whoever owns this place must be quite pleased with their work. I appreciate the black clothing worn by them. It's a look I favor. It's especially great when one's partner is at the nearby salon. Comfortable and inviting. Been here before. Will be here again!"
"We got the broasted chicken and loved it. We're so glad we found this place. Bests the heck out of fast food on a road trip. Easy on and off I-80."
"Met here for a few patio beers. Huge selection of cans and even some NA beers if you're looking. Small but comfy patio and a lively crowd on a Friday!"
"Walked in on a Tuesday night while in town for business and looking for something to do to kill some time for the night. Things were a little busy for a Tuesday night and the staff were a little overwhelmed. That didn't stop Jessica and Austin from making me feel welcome and at home. Being far away from home and having nothing going on, it really made me feel good to be around welcoming people. The chips and queso, wings and the brown ale on nitro were all on point. I didn't step next door for a movie, but seems like a great option and venue. If you're in the area and looking for some bar snacks and good beer options the stop in, it's worth it. Say hi to Jessica and Austin for me!!"
"Fantastic service. We had a large group but our order came out in record time. So delicious. Best crust we've had outside of our kitchen. A must try! Thanks so much!!"
"Proof is the guarantee that there will be good whiskey and great cocktails. The seating is plentiful, bar and tables. Service is plentiful and very effective. Seems they're good at recognizing regulars, yet greet new folks cheerfully. The location is quite attractive and cheery, yet appropriately dim.Oh, and it's a strip mall location with plenty of parking. A winning deal! We'll be back!"
"This was a really fun place to come for beers and Izzy's pizza bus! They had Izzy's one night, but it was a fairly long wait for it so we got to experience lots of what they had to offer. We went on a Friday night, and during happy hour they give you a little ticket that you can pull to reveal how much of your tab you have to pay that night. My husband pulled and got 50% off our tab for the night! We tried lots of beers, 2 flights between the four of us there, a few other selections, and a couple mixed drinks. They were all really good, especially the mezcal old fashioned! It had a great smoky flavor. The beers are all local Midwest, so lots of recognizable breweries and faves. There was plenty of seating inside, and board games to play. A great place to check out!"
"Having passed through Ft. Calhoun numerous times outside business hours, I had some anticipation when we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while the establishment was open. High hopes, one might say.Well, it didn't turn out as I wanted. Service was slow -- the person serving spent an inordinate amount of time chatting with already-served customers, leaving people who were waiting to languish in a proverbial desert of thirst. Maybe that's what is considered "charm" in this small village; and I agree that it's nice to engage your customers. However, leaving other customers unserved is a recipe for loss of a potential star.Another star disappeared when the beers we eventually ordered arrived warm. No, not England-ale-house-warm, but room-temperature-warm. Ugh. At least the craft beers could still be enjoyed to some degree, unlike a mass-market domestic that is undrinkable at ambient temperature. So, we soldiered through our beers, and then departed, left wanting for what "could have been"."
"I mean, it's a hipster place with a bunch of hipsters on staff and a bunch of hipsters for customers so there's that to deal with. Just tell them about how you don't own a tv and you hate football and ... I don't know, organic food or something and you can fit right in if that's not your jam. They make really great pizza though, so just slap on your skinny Jeans and fake handle bar mustache and grit it out. I generally get the international and build my own slice, Italian sausage, jalapenos, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and onions, but I don't know, you do you, there's lots of good stuff on the menu."
"Great place for lunch! We were there slightly after typical lunch hour so it was not busy. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The menus at the table could use some refreshing, as they are semi-tattered, but useable. We ordered a pretzel to share, and it was tasty. The grilled cheese sandwich was gooey and delicious. My bratwurst was unlike any other one I've ever had, but I enjoyed it. The best part of everything was the tomato jam that came with the grilled cheese. It makes a fantastic dip for the kettle chips that come with the sandwiches. I'm not from the area so it's unlikely I'll ever have the chance to get back there, though I would if given the chance."
"McCue's brings back nostalgia for many lifelong Kearney residents, in the location that used to house McCue's Market with everything from eggs to household items. When you walk into McCue's Taproom, the bar on your left has ~30 beers on tap, as well as many wine and spirits options. No food is available in house, but there are often food trucks parked in the back alley OR you can order food and have it delivered to McCue's from Alley Rose restaurant. The food truck "Hangries LLC" was on hand when we visited and it was delicious and filling. The best options from Nebraska breweries were awesome. Several high top and low top table options as well as barstools up to the bar. Groups of 2-20 would be able to find a spot to hang out inside or out on the back patio area. I'll definitely be back to McCue's when I'm back in Kearney!"
"I brought my dog to the bar and was not sure if their dog policy was still in effect. The bouncer informed me yes and I had a wonderful time at the bar. The staff are friendly and my dog got lots of hugs and kisses from the patrons. I will be returning as long as The bar allows me."
"Met up with a couple of my besties I haven't seen in many years. Jackie was bartending and is probably the best bartender I've ever met. Engaging, hilariously funny & sarcastic, we had an awesome time!"
"Quick and friendly service for the ONLY coffee worth getting in Nebraska. it's not watered down like the state favorite chain or intentionally burned bean taste like the global conglomerate chain. This is coffee as it should taste: roasted perfectly, brewed correctly, and careful attention to detail by the owner. Not a milkshake pretending to be coffee like everyone else, actualcoffee for people who love coffee created by people who respect the coffee, their staff, and their customers."
"Don't like buffets typically but had their Sunday buffet not realizing it was buffet only. Very pleasantly surprised!"
"I can't stop thinking about that gigantic pretzel!! This was maybe the best pretzel and cheese of my life. It was so soft and buttery, I'm salivating just thinking about it. Oh and the beers are delicious too..Come hungry, get the big pretzel with cheese, knock some of the salt off - the roof of your mouth will thank you. I split this with my husband but you could maybe share with a 3rd person.. maybe."
"A small place that is part coffee bar, and part restaurant, not the biggest place but we had a group of 15 and they made it work for us. I really enjoy their lumpia and Adobo. Give it a try!"
"First time I'd visited this establishment and had never heard of it prior. Went to lunch with some family members after piquing our interest when searching restaurants in the area. The restaurant was nearly empty except for a few patrons at the bar. Our food came out fairly quickly as expected but there were some issues. The sides had been mixed up with half of the order. In addition, the burger patties were half the size of the bun - essentially mini hockey pucks. Overall, not a raving experience by any means which was unfortunate."
"On my most recent trip to Nebraska Brewing Company I was able to take the tour of the facility. They offer tours once or twice a week led by staff members, so you can see the process in which beer is made here. Perhaps I just haven't paid much attention but I don't notice Nebraska brewing company's beers at a lot of local restaurants that I dine and drink at. One of the things the owner said during the tour was that they are focused a little bit more on distribution side of the business so they are more popular outside of the state than within our own state. This makes a lot of sense as to why I don't see it often when I'm out and about in Omaha. Now that I've had a chance to try about 5 to 6 of their beers I definitely want more. The melange a trois and the brunette nut brown were really stellar, but I did enjoy a bunch of the others too. Since the restaurant brewery location in Papillion is a bit far for me as well as this brewing facility in LaVista, it's not a place I go very often but I know when I do I'm going to stock up on some of my favorites! They were probably one of the first pioneers of craft beers in Omaha, I would say they're pretty heavy contenders with many of the local favorites. If they ever switch gears and wanted to be more in restaurants and local eateries (as opposed to being more of a distributor) should probably open a location more "in-town" like other small craft brewers have done. I think they would do well."
"Good pub for whiskey lovers. The owner was tending bar on Christmas Day. I had hunted a bit for a tavern that was open. He suggested several different bourbons for me. I settled on an Old Forester 1920. Generous pour. Friendly and accommodating of my internet needs. Atmosphere dark. They have a lot of obscure and expensive bottles on the shelf. The shelves that are not lined with bottles are lined with books. Country music in the background which I was enjoying. The owner was filling in for the bartender, who took that country off soon after he arrived. He probably would have left it on if I asked, but as a non-regular I didn't want to overstep."
"Great food at a great price. We had burgers, wraps, chicken strips and pork tenderloin at our table. Everyone loved their food."
