"Guess who LOVES Orisi's pizza more than my family? NOONE!!!!! Freshly made to order, freeze what you don't eat in freezer bags and it lasts us for months...pull out and toaster over it..yummness in minutes! Meat lovers FAMILY SIZE PIZZA, and PEPPERONI and PINEAPPLE FAMILY SIZE PIZZA...is what we bought for our family of 2tonight! Sometimes you gotta live a little...ORSI's is always ready with your order (call ahead) when you arrive...I highly recommend!"
"I came for lunch and had the adult 4 cheese grilled cheese on sourdough bread. It was wonderful. I only would have preferred the bread grilled just a bit more. I had some cheese curds as well that also were wonderful. I was going to get some hot cocoa but they told me I had to go to the dessert side for that. I'm not a fan of paying at 2 different places for the same business. I had no problem finding a seat I am also not a fan of tipping at the counter. It is not a full service restaurant and the do not get paid less like full service restaurants do."
"My kids and I came in for breakfast this morning, and all agreed that it was probably the most mediocre breakfast we'd ever had. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was great either. The pancakes weren't fluffy and were practically flavorless, my eggs were undercooked, the fresh fruit wasn't fresh... Thankfully, it's hard to screw up bacon and coffee!Service was friendly and fast, and everything was reasonably priced."
"Great local coffee spot! Food is great and it's veteran owned. Service is always on the spot and coffee is fantastic!"
"Another phenomenal place to grab a bite to eat or just have cocktails but never skip the chocolate! The vibe was perfect I would highly recommend when in Grand Island, Nebraska The Maple caramel was divine"
"I can not tell you how hard it is to find a pastries shop that's has gluten-free and vegan options. The pastries are huge, so many options and so freaking good. If you're crying about the price, go home and do it yourself. The staff is so helpful this place is super cute, everyone I bought treats for absolutely loved them!"
"So glad to see this Omaha! Most common one I saw in Seoul was Paris Baguette. A unique small bakery for Omaha. It doesn't match the many offerings I have seen before in Seoul, but works for me. I just needed to find Tiramisu, since Whole Foods didn't have a small portion. Grab a tray and tongs and grab some delicious pastries! On the expensive side though, but very nice quality. Delicious coffee as well. Nice ambience with comfy furniture and soft music."
"Always a great service and food is delicious prepared lunch menu.Lithuanian pastry's are a sweet treat."
"This was my first Crumbl experience, and I wasn't disappointed! Yes, I waited about 30 mins to get inside to order. Yes, they were out of two of the rotating flavors I wanted to try. However, we need to remember that this is a new location and the staff are all still green. I have no doubts that they will work out the kinks and be more seamless as time goes on.The cookies are HUGE and delicious. I love that they are served warm (or chilled, depending on the cookie!) My husband and I each had a hard time picking which one was the best.I'm looking forward to trying more flavors in the future!"
"Definitely worth spending the money in gas to get here for the savings on the bread! I got the 4 loafs and 2 packages of hamburger buns for only $7.55 which is about what you'd spent on one loaf at hyvee. It smells delicious outside of the doors, there's plenty of parking, lots of options, and the workers are friendly. They check out very quick and are always kind. If nothing else go to smell the bread!!They do have gluten free options in the freezer and keto options on the shelves! The one thing I will say is that if you are looking for a loaf that you really liked one day, it may not be there the next time because it's day old bread from what they're baking. There's never a shortage and you'll be able to find what you need! Must go!"
"Pleasantly surprised! The coffee here is delish and the barista is so helpful and kind. Did you know they brew their coffee right next door?! Soooo cool. I love the location of this place, it's practically off the interstate which makes it easy to find. The architectural design of this building and the housing around it is super cool and something I haven't really seen in omaha before. Of course, the best part was the GF muffins!!! They also had "local" chocolate for sale from lincoln. I'll have to come back and try the chocolate with a coffee!"
"Great location. I found myself needing a quick, light dinner and was please to see I could get sandwiches here. Grabbed some cookies and a loaf of their Mexican Chocolate bread to try. All were delicious."

It's not often that a pizza makes you stop and relish in how good it is, but this one did for me. This decades-old bakery and pizza joint doesn't have any seating, but it's absolutely worth stopping by to grab a pizza or two (and what looks like incredible bread) to share. Made with fresh dough, delicious sauce, and whatever toppings you choose, every bite is a symphony of flavor. In the four days I was in town, this was my favorite -- I'd highly recommend it and will 100% return the next time I'm in Omaha!

We wanted something sweet, we found Jones Bros. What a treat, they have delicious cupcakes and a lot of other tasty treats here. The lady behind the counter knows everything about each and every one and was very helpful. There a few tables in a big, very clean dining area. We grabbed a cupcake each. I devoured my choice, an amazing Lemon filled, lemon iced and lemon cakey cupcake. I like lemon, so this was perfect for me. I guess the hours change or have changed. Here is pic

Amazing Omaha cafe! It's in a great location with plenty of parking. The entrance is full of cakes, pies, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, breads, and cheesecakes. They all look amazing and are so tempting! They have a great selection of breakfast foods and lunch items. If you want classic, home style food, you want Farm House. The pancakes, rolls, and muffins are always fresh. They servers are attentive and kind, and there is plenty of seating indoors.

Sometimes you can find the perfect lunch in the most unusual places . I was going to go to a chain restaurant for lunch but was really hoping for more local experience. The chocolate Bar delivered in huge style . This is located in the historic downtown of grand island Nebraska. It's an unlikely place to find a swank and Uber cool brunch spot . The Chocolate Bar has style . I could hope to find a place like this in Denver, or Chicago or even Vegas but finding it here in this small Midwest town is even better! The coffee was delicious. The chocolate truffles were rich and amazingly refined . I had a Cobb salad for lunch and sat at the counter . The vibe was perfect. From the music ( tears for fears,Thank You) , to the friendly service to the perfectly casual moments everyone was enjoying in the packed classic restaurant , every was right on . I also indulged in a slice of almond cake . Prices were reasonable. Selection is not huge but it's just right. Seating is ample but the place was very busy on a late Saturday morning. Come relaxed . This is not a fast food place. Be ready to enjoy your meal and sit to talk and eat some chocolate.

Recently we had a large group to celebrate a birthday. I called early in May because all bakeries are busy with graduations etc The woman I spoke with was extremely nice and very helpful. Our daughter recommended using this bakery because she must have only gluten free food. The cakes were delicious and very moist, even the leftovers after a few days in the fridge.Staff were very helpful and made our birthday celebration special. Thank you for your gluten free cake and wonderful service.

Always a pleasure coming here! It's always clean and the staff is friendly, I wish there was a bit more seating but the seating they do have is comfy. I like that a lot of people come here with their study materials and find comfort in doing their work here. The food is always so good, I have not had a single pastry that I haven't liked. I always get the strawberry croissant and some form of pastry with cheese and meat in it for protein. The spinach feta is so perfect and it fills you up when it's paired with a little dessert pastry like the chocolate horn. We also tried the ham and cheese pastry this time and it was filling and yummy. They also have multiple breads and things prepackaged that you can buy and take home. I get an iced coffee every time and my favorite one is the caramel macchiato, it's sweet but not too sweet and the espresso is very smooth. I also get it with almond milk and I appreciate them having multiple alternative milks!

Unless you've grown up with a Lithuanian grandmother like I did, you truly don't know what being fed is all about. I know, I know... Your German grandmother, or your Indonesian grandmother, or your Chinese grandmother... Trust me, I know they also took great pleasure in giving you more food then should be provided to an army battalion... but in my experience, and for the purposes of this review, you're gonna just have to take my word for it... heck, for a culture that refers to beer as skysta duona (liquid bread), IYKYK.Anyway, we found ourselves in Omaha the past couple of summers, road trip in across the country, and pit stopping at my brothers new home, to which he moved during the pandemic. as an aside, it's kind of funny the difference of what a couple hundred grand can buy in Omaha versus what it can buy in Southern California. (Spoiler alert: you can't buy a home for a couple hundred grand in Southern California) but it's always a pleasure to see my kid brother, his beautiful wife and my adorable nieces. As luck would have it, his home is only about a mile from the Lithuanian Bakery and Kafé. I made this discovery one morning heading out for donuts as a surprise for the kids, only to discover that for whatever reason, I had struck out on two different donut shops that were sold out early. In desperation, I stopped at this bakery, and it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done in Omaha. The pastries, strudel, and other breakfast treats are divine. On subsequent trips, I sampled their Reuben sandwich... One of the best I've ever had... the braunschweiger, the kielbasa. Man, lots of awesome food here. The folks behind the counter are the type of awesome/kind/middle-of-the-country you would expect to find. I have not found a lot of ultra traditional Lithuanian foods on their menu, to be honest. Or maybe I just haven't been there enough? Haven't found Blynais or Kibinai or Šaltibarščiai... but maybe next time I'll ask if they can make them for me special? Like Nana used to.... Iki Pasimatymo!

"One of the best bakeries in town. Their sugar cookies are soft and chewy not hard and stale. Their frosting is not overly sweet and still creamy with fun design choices. Today I had a lion, ate it too quickly and didnt take a picture.Their carrot cake cupcakes are theeee best. No nuts which is the way I like them. I also tried their triple chocolate cupcake as they had a buy one get one free! Excited to try new flavors and different cookie options.Ps- they have pupcakes! Dog friendly cupcakes"
"Best, Mexican, sweet bread in town hands-down. The bread is not oily or stale. They bake fresh every day and the varieties are incredible. I bought my dad's birthday cake here and he loved it . This is my favorite bakery in Lincoln!"
"Shandy's Swedish Bakery was mentioned on the Grow Omaha radio show this morning, mentioning it had recently opened, so I had to go and try it out. It may be a little hard to find if you don't know the area, but if you travel south from 138th and Q there is a small strip mall south of La Petite Academy where it can be found. As I said it was mentioned on the radio so many people had already been there before me that took care of her inventory already. Shandy was the only one there feverishly trying to restock the goods in her small store. She pointed out the loaf of Swedish Rye Bread and her Scandinavian Almond Cake which I got and her full breaded Kolaches (she also had Bohemian in the family). She gave many suggestions for the Rye bread with including grilled cheese which I will try first. I hope to go back to try her Kolaches."
"We noticed this bakery a few nights ago and decided to pop in today for lunch. WOW! We each got a sweet potato taco (one flour shell and one corn shell) and we shared the Mexican Caesar salad - perfect portions for lunch and incredibly filling. When I say the sweet potato taco is one of the best tacos I've ever had, it'd be an understatement. Truly an explosion of flavors 10/10 recommended!"
"What can you say about a business that gladly hands out free samples? I have passed by this location for years, but today as I was photographing Dundee I happened to park right in front of the store. I was about to leave but remembering their free samples, and I really wanted a nice loaf of bread, I decided to see what I could find. The free sample sitting on the counter this Saturday was a White Chocolate Cherry Swirl. It was to die for. Next to a sizable tub of butter didn't make it any worse. I was ready to buy a loaf, but being the end of the week, their selection was limited and this had sold out. I saw their selection of scones, and I made sure these got sold out next. The lady serving me was a hoot. She talked about the Vienna Orchestra (apparently in her first life she was a musician) and convinced me to YouTube "Hamilton" a Rapped Opera.I almost tried one of their sandwiches, but I was in a hurry. That was what actually first caught my attention, I did not know they had soups and sandwiches, and very reasonably priced. I will return if not for a loaf of bread (and free sample) but to try their roast beef sandwich."
"I sometimes run around to different 66 gas stations just hoping Randy's donuts haven't sold out yet... I love the big puffy glazed donuts..... their the best! The green ones were so good too."
"I finally got in to Sugared Ledge and boy, the wait has been worth it! The donuts are absolutely delicious, and as a bonus they're beautiful to look at! I got the chocolate sprinkle, vanilla sprinkle, triple blueberry glazed, and the chocolate peppermint. I love that they do a donut of the month, which is currently the chocolate peppermint, and I'll absolutely be back for more! The shop itself is adorable and welcoming, and the person who helped me was kind and personable. Get to this donut shop, you won't regret it!"
"The food is delicious and the service is great. I'm glad Perkins is still in Lincoln, Nebraska. I use to go to the old location a lot on 48th & O streets here in Lincoln in 2018 and prior. I commend all who demanded to bring Perkins back in 2019. A+ on their service."
"Ok. This was my first time here. We went on a Wednesday morning about 11 am. It was nice because we were the only customers. They came quickly to help us and explain the options. Friendly and helpful. It smelled so good inside like a bakery should! Both cookies we got were very good. Extremely fresh and great flavor. The chocolate cookie had a deep chocolate flavor that made it our favorite. The carrot cake cookie was really more like a cake. (We used a fork at home). It had really great seasoning and the frosting was very good. Not too sweet. I was thinking for the price of their cookies they better be good and they did not disappoint. Also you save on cookie price if you buy more than one at a time. Great for a special occasion."
"Such beautiful work! I asked Lori (Owner of Sugar Coma Treats) to make me a special cake for a friend who was turning 50 years old. My friend is a physician who was also celebrating joining a new hospital group. Lori researched on her own the customer's medical specialty for her cake creation, and made the cake so personalized! Lori incorporated my friend's picture, a personalized lab coat with her name on it, a stethoscope, some scans, a syringe, pills, and many other beautiful details. She made the cake strawberry flavored, and it was delicious! The cake had pink white frosting with a prominent "50" on it. My friend said it was the most beautiful cake she had ever seen! (I agree!) Lori is easy to work with, customer-focused, and detail-oriented. Lori helped me package the cake and gave me preparation instructions for the 3+ hour drive to ensure the cake arrived safely. Her creations are truly beautiful. I recommend Lori Manoj and Sugar Coma Treats highly!"
"So-so cookies from my one experience here. Didn't find the cookie I had better than most that I've had in the past at other places. They have a nice selection of a few varieties and they are baked fresh daily. I'd try them to see where they fit in with you."
"Ext to the armed forces recruitment center on 27th between Vine and O street is Misky's Bakery. It's a small women owned Latino Bakery with dozens of made by scratch pastries. I decided to try a couple of pastries and get a tamale to go for later. I recognized many of the items in the display, but they were in their Latino name. Croissants, churros. English shortbread. And of course a few that look delicious which I will have to try later. Definitely a place to stop in for a bite sometime."
"Came across this little hidden gem. The cake was moist and a nice flavor and my favorite about it was the icing wasn't so sweet so you could really enjoy the whole slice of you would like. Definitely worth A Try"
"It's a great cookie place. However most flavors for the week are almost the same but with different names. It's a lot of Oreo. I don't go there often because the flavors lack for me or they just don't sound good to me. I only go there if there's a flavor that I like. For instance the cinnamon square"
"This is apparently International Bakery's third location. I believe there is the original on 24th Street in South O and on in the Park Avenue Neighborhood. In any case, I have only been to this location. It is a small shop that serves lots of different breads and pastries at affordable prices. This is a no nonsense business; you tong-pick your baked goods, put them on a plastic tray, and pay for them. That's it. I won't even talk about the decor, or ambiance, or service (though the people there are nice and helpful). If you want good, cheap, sweet breads, go here, now!"
"Ordering thru the iPad is a genius idea. It was quick and easy and there was no line. The cookies came out within 10 minutes or less, and they were friendly. The cookies are huge and expensive, and full of sugar. Recommend for a once in a while sweet treat!"
"This Stories coffee is in the lobby of the Union Bank & Trust, off of P Street and 13th in downtown Lincoln. What a welcome surprise when you enter and see the open atrium area with clean tables, chairs, and tabletop bar counters conveniently located in the middle of the bottom floor. I have the bacon and turkey sandwich with an Americano coffee. To my surprise, it came in a paper box with chips and plastic utensils. The sandwich was even warmed up and fresh to the taste. They have other options of food choices besides sandwiches but still is from a limited menu. Their coffee drinks are plentiful and priced affordably. 5 stars for a tasty sandwich and a hot coffee drink on a cold blustery day in Lincoln."
"Love the food and people. Too, too, loud. Turn off the music! Cannot have a conversation."
