"I visited Stella's a little while back when my sister was visiting town, as we both love a good burger and heard great things about Stella's. Parking was easy with a big lot outside, and despite arriving on the early side for dinner, it was already quite busy. At times you may have to wait a bit for a table, so be prepared for that or call ahead for a takeout order. We were able to get seats at the bar, and the bartender was friendly. Our food came out fast, which was great. We each ordered a cheeseburger, which were really good and we got them with all the toppings that they come with. The burgers were just a good, simple, classic burger, and are a pretty good price for the size. The atmosphere is a very casual, neighborhood burger place. I believe they have outdoor seating as well, which is great for nice weather days. We really enjoyed our food and will definitely return!"
"What a dive! When we walked in on a Friday night, it was packed...and for a good reason! Casual, typical sports bar ambiance. Great service and delicious food and drinks. Our water cups were always filled, servers gave us enough attention without being intrusive, price was just right. Only complaint was that the brussel sprouts were not as cooked soft as we would generally like. They were crispy, just had a bit of a bite to them. The burgers were so large though, I'd recommend just skipping the appetizers altogether. Cajun fries are an absolute MUST. Best Cajun fries that I've had, period. My berry burger was like nothing that I have ever tasted before but I loved the sweet and salty combo. The blue cheese burger was interestingly soft and juicy, my partner compared it to biting into a beefy pot pie. He loved it though and was sad he couldn't finish it all because the portions are huge. The takeaway? No apps, order the Cajun fries, the burgers are delicious."

"In town for the week. Have no idea why I waited so long before visiting. Happy Hour Specials were great. The pretzel bits and Gruyère cheese fondue was that extra little. Chicken tenders had a wonderful breading and all the sauces were on the side. Don't laugh at me but they had PBR on draft. You had me right then. And something even cooler is a beer canning machine at the bar. You can buy a crowler (32oz) and they pour draft and seal it right there. I thought that was super cool. Kinda why I'm here 2 days in a row, now that I know all of the above. Great and friendly staff. You gotta give it a try!"
"Came here since Rueben's were recommended from this place. Luckily when we came, there were unlimited mimosas and we love a good unlimited deal. The server was super attentive and chill,And i dug how cool the place was decorated. We ordered two Ruben's, which were actually really good. Would def come back."
"Biggest pork chops I've ever experienced. If you come here you better be hungry because they give you a ton of food at an excellent value. Service was fast and friendly Inside is super clean including the bathrooms."
"Found out about this place from a friend recently after years of living in the area. Some of the best breakfast food we've ever had here in Omaha. Still have yet to try a burger (was going to try one for dinner only to see they are only a brunch place and close at 3 all week), but all the breakfast dishes have been phenomenal. The green chili in particular is something special not seen in other Midwestern joints east of Colorado. I like to smother everything with it.The ambiance is a diner classic--we only have a few of these left in the US, so we need to keep them alive. The service is great, they keep a keen eye on your coffee, filling it up very frequently.Truly a great restaurant. The only downside are it's hours, but beggars can't be choosers."
"We have stopped by in the past but this trip we stayed at the moxie and it is right around the corner. With the weather being a tundra this weekend thank goodness we love Jams!First stop for brunch, ambiance is beautiful and comfortably designed.Pre show dinner sat at the bar and had the salmon salad. So yummy and filling.Came back for night cocktail and desert everything on the desert menu looked amazing except for the cheesecake- I would be so much healthier if cheesecake were the only desert but it is not and I am so glad because I had the fabulous Chocolate Crème Brûlée!! Oh my gawd. The staff was awesome - letting us finish watching the Commanders vrs Lions Game.Of course we will be back!Unless can we get one going in Des Moines?"
"Wow! So we got right in and next to the fire which was awesome as it was 3 degrees out side.Hot coffee right away on the table! Added the Capital Crunch coffee holy buckets right on!Had the Smoked Salmon frittata and the hubs had an omelet. Yes filling and super delicious. The establishment runs with many great systems in place with exceptional employees who were so busy but so friendly and seem to enjoy each other while giving so much care and attention to every guest.Hope I go out of the way to eat here again as we take our to go coffees our server got us and head back to DSM."
"We love Blatt and all three of our kids like something on the menu which is a win! The Mac and cheese is delicious and the Tipsy Cuban is a fave. Not a fan, personally, of the Brussels but the other apps are yummy."
"Huge place! Lots of tables and great for family gatherings or parties! Sports bar vibe..with high tops ..beer and casual feel. Awesome menu though! Was there for a Teammates Mentoring gathering with lots of yummy appetizers."
"I normally don't like steak but I thought this steak was really really good. Thai is Warren Buffet's favorite steak house. I can see why! There's a booth of his seat. People reserve it so they can sit in his booth!"
"Adding to my review after having brunch here--loved the experience! This vibe is so moody and boujee--I love it. The brunch menu is somewhat limited, but you can also order from the regular menu.I got the potato puffs which have changed shape it seems--I loved the tube shape as it allows for more of the crispy outside (my favorite part) to encompass the puffy cheesy potatoes inside! The banana bread French toast wasn't my favorite, as it was more a slice of banana bread with toppings. The fruit, pistachios, and granola on top were amazing! There was a tiny drizzle of syrup until I asked for more and got a tiny ramekin. I would definitely ask for 3-4 sides if I was eating this whole dish, but I also use a lot of sauces! We also got the biscuits and gravy which were amazing--the biscuits were incredibly flakey which was a great surprise! I also had a side of steak which was cooked perfectly.Overall a great brunch!"

The way this burger has me daydreaming about it even now...Stella's warrants best burger consideration. The burger and fries are just tasty. Prices are right and ambience is casual and cool. Parking right outside the building.

The best cheese curds in Omaha, maybe Nebraska?! The downtown location is our go to date night dinner spot before a show at the Orpheum since it's a quick 5 minute walk! There's tons of parking around it that are meters. They have tons of local beer to choose from and is decently large inside, tables booths, and bar seating. Service was great this last time and every time we have gone. Food always comes out quick, hot and correct!

This joint is located right at the door step of the College World Series Baseball stadium downtown. There is tons of metered street parking available, within a reasonable walking distance. It has a neat set up. There is the main bar area with a full bar, with seating around it, and dining room seating as well. You will find televisions all around that area. There is also another full bar with seating and a dining area off to the side, which is used for private events and over flow. Additionally, the bar has an outdoor courtyard in the back with seating. It is a nice place to sit if the weather is nice. I came on the night of a big show at the convention center, so they had a limited menu. The staff at the place is very friendly. In addition to their full service bar with signature cocktails, they serve burgers, sandwiches, fish, chicken strips, salads, and sandwiches. I ended up going with the fish and chips. I also got a Spritzer to wash it down. It took about 15 minutes or so to get my food. It was ok. One of the fish fillets were overcooked and very crunchy. The other one was fine though. The fries were pretty good and I loved the spritzer. If I had to do it over again, I would probably have gotten something else. Anyway, this is a convenient bar/restaurant within walking distance of the convention center and baseball stadium. A 3.5 rating would be more appropriate for this place, but that is not an option so I went with a 3 because I felt it was closest to it.

Read through the majority of reviews and can add the following. This (IMHO) is the best Ruben sandwich around. The city has many varieties but this one takes the prize. Pro tip: upgrade the fries to garlic fries and add a side of dill ranch. In regards to the negative posts, the service at lunch was spot on. Sitting at the bar is the move but the dining room had attentive service. The beer selection is massive and they have daily specials. I'm from out of town and came for the history and storied Ruben. It was worth the trip. The bar (pun intended) has been set very high and this is what I will rate other versions off of.

Edit I just realized I've left two reviews lol oops Our new favorite breakfast spot. Each servers are so nice so are the ones that clean the tables. Food is good. Atmosphere is good and the prices are decent coffee comes with your breakfast I guess depending on what you're ordering and if you don't get hashbrowns and toast, they take a couple dollars off.

We stopped in on a Saturday around 1pm with a group of 11. We were seated fairly quickly. We got our drinks, but in between drinks, ordering, and getting our food, there were a lot of long stretches without our server (and it wasn't busy).Otherwise, the food was fantastic!! We love their bruchetta, and we tried a new menu item, the coffee cake. It was delicious! As always my roasted turkey was fantastic. My husband got onion rings with his burger and they were also so perfectly cripsy and evenly coated. Great ambiance.

We've been to quite a few First Watch's, and this one was as good as all the others. A group of 4 of us went for brunch on a Sunday during a holiday weekend and got on the waitlist on the way there. The time estimate was very close to when our table was ready, and we were seated adn started looking over the menu. Both the women in our group decided they wanted a glass of sparkling wine - there were mimosa's on the menu, so our server just brought them each a split bottle of sparkling wine and charged us for the mimosa. We ordered our food and it came out quickly. We got a variety of breakfast dishes - I got the Healthy Turkey Omelete - always great! Lots of spincach and other veggies. I did substitute the potatoes for the tomatoes as a side. The potato serving was very ample, and they were hot and nicely cooked. My wife got the Breakfast Bowl - also a consistently good option. Fresh and tasty. The others in our group got The Superfood Bowl and an omelete. Everyone really enjoyed their meal - everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful.Service was very good as well. Definitely a great breakfast/brunch stop!

"Great breakfast! Service was polite and friendly. Inside was cool to see so much history. Definitely worth the trip!"
"excellent breakfast with alot of history. Old fashioned diner. Service was ***** stars. will definetly be back next time in Omaha.Quiet and relaxed."
"We had our Thanksgiving catered after doing a couple years of good food at Railcar and we loved it! The smoked turkey had lots of flavor! So much that it changed my mother in law's mind about eating turkey at Thanksgiving over ham. The sides were great! We had lots of food and it was all delicious and easy! The staff were friendly and the pickup was simple! So glad we got a chance to try it out!"
"Friday night and the end of a busy week. I asked my wife what we wanted to do for dinner. She was considering the options and mentioned having a taste for barbecue pork. My mind thought of more well known chains, and questioned if a local grocery might have something to offer. And I landed on Smoking Jays, which is located just a few minutes from our downtown Omaha residence. I asked her if she wanted to be adventurous and she said yes. We were feeding three adults. She wanted a barbecue pork sandwich. My son wanted ribs, coleslaw and fries. I decided to get chicken, which like the ribs, comes as a meal with two sides. The sandwich gets one side, and she wanted waffle fries. For the purposes of sampling, I decided to get onion rings and potato salad, and let everyone taste whatever they wanted. Our two dinners and sandwich meal costs $76. I was concerned about how much food would be given. We all ended up with leftovers for later and were full. My half chicken was packed with a piece of garlic toast and a square of cornbread, which I thought was a little odd, but I appreciated the cornbread because the garlic toast was very obviously seasoned with garlic salt. The onion rings were also a bit salty. They seem to be homemade and battered, so tasty but with a bit of salt with each bite. I tasted a waffle fry and didn't taste any salt. They were part of my wife's sandwich and she enjoyed her meat and the fries and said they were not salty. The rack of ribs were very tasty and very much "falling off the bone". My son enjoyed the half of the ribs he was able to eat at the first sitting. He had some coleslaw and I had potato salad for sides, both of which were fine. Almost sure they are pre-made items, but they were acceptable. The final comment is about accessibility to the store. You can only get in by making a right turn, from the right hand lane, on 13th, and to exit during the rush hour traffic, I made a right hand turn onto Vinton (you can enter this way, too, but you need to have a blinker on and be very clear about your intentions) and when you get on Vinton, you need to be prepared to turn right again to navigate back to the Old Market area. So if you are downtown and in the mood for barbecue, it is a good option to check out, especially to bring home a lot of tasty food."
"My kids and I came in for breakfast this morning, and all agreed that it was probably the most mediocre breakfast we'd ever had. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was great either. The pancakes weren't fluffy and were practically flavorless, my eggs were undercooked, the fresh fruit wasn't fresh... Thankfully, it's hard to screw up bacon and coffee!Service was friendly and fast, and everything was reasonably priced."
"If there was ever a prime example of "Never judge a book by its cover", Everett's is absolutely it. The outside? Let's be honest, dingy at best. But the inside is inviting, clean and spacious. The true triumph here however, is the FOOD!!Sure Everett's is known for the wings, and delicious they! Huge, meaty, saucy! The Brussel sprouts though? Absolute perfection. Crispy, tender, wonderfully seasoned. The lime cream is next level. What I didn't expect at all was to fall in love with the fries. I am truly a fry guy, and these are as well executed as I've seen. So good that I didn't even bother asking for any dipping sauce by the time they were alllllll gone. I can easily see why Everett's has a local following. From the service, to the prices, to the food quality.....it ticks all the boxes. As far as bang for your buck, it doesn't get better than this. Everett's is worth any detour if you are anywhere close to the area."
"Went here for a date night on their weekly trivia night. The host was fun and there were a number of teams there. The drinks were tasty. They have a large beer selection with a good list of cocktails. The pretzels are always delicious and perfectly made. They come with a side of mustard and cheese. We had a great night and will be back for more drinks and trivia!"
"The service was outstanding, food healthy and fresh, and vibrant was positive. We enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend!"
"Recommended by lady who cut my hair about 20 minutes ago. Here I am. Mexico CocaCola coming. Chili relenos burrito also requested. 5 Stars alone for Mex Coke!! All all is real good as expected. Tortillas don't appear handmade but no complaints. They are real good as is."
"AMAZING!!! from the appetizers, to the drink, to the main meal... It was awesome! The staff was nice, and even though they were short, they were very attentive!"
"My family went here for lunch one day because I kept hearing how good the food was. I went with some type of grilled chicken and bacon sandwich on ciabatta bread with sweet potato fries. It was delicious! We only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Our server was busy, but we still received good service. I will definitely come back again."
"Fun Cajun inspired joint that offers a taste of the bayou in the Midwest! Excellent customer service and a large restaurant with patio seating as well. If you're looking for some Cajun inspired food in Lincoln, NE, look no further!"
"When I come back home from a business trip, I don't want to go out to eat or really go anywhere, but Lucca is absolutely incredible. It's my first time at the restaurant, and they are incredibly accommodating to my lactose-free diet, and everything tasted amazing."
"Burgers were definitely award winning you must try the bourbon kickin cheeseburger! Great flavor with a little kick. You can taste its local beef. Toasted buns were soft flavorful as well. Homemade thin fries were great and crunchy. Did I mention endless fries! The waitress Amanda was super friendly and helpful. Even a free keychain as a parting gift. If you drive by Adair Iowa you must stop here!!"
"Brother suggested we stop here for brunch while in the area. Glad we did! It was fabulous!Starting with no wait, followed by a wonderful waitress and food.I had the Chicken Parm sandwich, which was really good, the fries were cooked to perfection, crispy and soft in the middle. My brother had the Chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrown and a pancake. We both dabbled in a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. We waited a bit for this but it was worth it! Definitely made fresh!Everything was hot and delicious. Fell in love with our waitress and can't wait to go back to see her and try some other dishes."
"We took our young boys here while in town and I'm so glad we chose The Monarch! What a gem of a restaurant!!! The decor is absolutely beautiful. Dark sultry walls with beautiful warm lit sconces and chandeliers. The array of live plants scattered about makes you feel like you are dining in an atrium set back in the 1920's. The wall murals completed the vibe. Seriously a very intimate space. We ordered Shirley temples and mock-tails to start and ordered the calamari and balsamic brussel sprouts for our appetizers and all were delicious. Our boys each ordered the steak and pommes frites and I ordered the Cowboy ribeye and my husband ordered the dry aged ribeye special with the garlic jalapeño compote. My husband and I enjoyed our steaks but we were both shocked at how amazing our boys sirloins were. Like..... ahhhhh is that even possible? As steak lovers, we've had them all but these sirloins were, chefs kiss!!!! I cannot recommend the sirloin enough. Don't sleep on this one!!! Our server was very attentive and personable and the chef came out to ask how everything was tasting. This to me shows he prides himself on his work and added to the evening. The details will ALWAYS make good impressions. It was fun to show our boys what mom and dad do on date nights and they were excited to be a part of it. We traveled to Omaha from Milwaukee WI area and I'm really happy we stumbled upon this absolute gem. Thank you for a wonderful evening for my family."
"Great pizza. Got our large order correct - everyone loved it. 10/10 will eat here again!"
"The new first watch is so nice! There is a bar outsideYou can sit at also. The food is fresh and delicious. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious. This may be our new breakfast spot!"
"Amazing!! A quaint but modern dinner. Comfortable and clean. Tables and booths available. We were told to sit anywhere and Tommy the owner, greeted us and brought our waters and menus immediately. Booths were good sized too. Didn't feel pinned in. Food was Amazing! We had the pork loin and a 3 piece fried chicken dinner. The pork loin was tender and juice with a nice seasoning. The fried chicken was perfect. Lightly breaded, very juicy and flavorful. The breading was excellent. Usually I'm picking it off because it's too much or over done but not here. I was looking for more little crunchy bits. They were out of baked potatoes but the mashed tasted from scratch and the country gravy was excellent. Definitely a must see. You know it's great when the locals eat there too!"
"Detroit transplant in Omaha who was very happy to find Detroit style pizza. I recommend the Detroit Classic (pepperoni) and finish with a hot fudge cream puff, that's Detroit through and through. They just need Vernors and it would be complete."
"The food was pretty delicious, I enjoyed the cheese spread it was melt in your mouth savory with the burger. The waitress was great! Literally surprised me in the best way with a few questions. It's a very feel like home atmosphere. Hopefully your experience is just as great as mine"
"This place is a brunch classic! The food is hearty and comforting. They have a huge selection of drinks on tap and monthly specials. The brunch menu on the weekends is too good, the steak and eggs are the best in town. They season them perfectly and cooked expertly. It's a great place to watch Saturday/Sunday football games. There are plenty of servers walking around to grab their attention. The mimosas and bloody Mary's are one of a kind"
"I was already impressed with The Eatery's GF options, but a dedicated GF fryer!?! Y'all are killing' it! Other Lincoln establishments could really take a lesson from what The Eatery does so well.Had to come and update my review today because I came for lunch in between two appointments. The place is packed, but the service is amazing as always and my food came so fast. Got an omelet and swapped out the bread for GF, which they purposely gave butter on the side to avoid cross contamination. Appreciate your concern and attention to detail so much!"
