Buttered Marshmallow

I very recently heard about this bakery from the Faturday Omaha podcast and if you haven't heard of it yet - you seriously should check it out! I needed to order a cake for my brother's birthday, so this episode came at a very convenient time. Listening to Stacey talk about her baking passion is really what made me excited to get a cake from her - anyone who is this excited about their work must take enormous pride in it. And I'm so glad I did!She has such a huge list of flavors to choose from and all of them seriously sounded so good, especially the OG buttered marshmallow cake and all the happy hour cakes, but I went with a 6 inch 3 layer cinnamon crunch to appease all of the partygoers. Ordering the cake was super simple - you fill out an order form online and then Stacey gets back to you with the confirmation and ways to pay. I wanted to pay with credit card, so I called Stacey and she was genuinely so kind and helpful, it made me even more excited!The pickup was a breeze - just follow the instructions she sends you. The cake looked and tasted great! The buttercream frosting is a lighter, airier version of the traditional. My family also very much enjoyed the cake and my brother was very happy! Will definitely come back to Stacey for more cakes and hoping to try some of the other flavors as well - I've got my eye on the French 75!

I follow them on Facebook and saw them post a banana cake that looked amazing. I told my husband that's what I wanted for my birthday cake. Much to my surprise, he remembered and ordered it for me for my birthday. It looked gorgeous and we all couldn't wait to jump in. Unfortunately it was just okay. Not a ton of flavor, little filling and the frosting was odd. We had 10 people try it and no one could really put their finger on what the frosting tasted like, but everyone described it as odd. Also the cake was pretty dry. And he just picked it up that day, so can't use the storing excuse that I've read the company uses. Overall, especially for the price, I'd suggest going anywhere else.

The cake is dry and tasteless with hardly any filling. The cake rips and tears upon cutting and the owner will blame it on "not storing/thawing properly". If she produced a sound product it wouldn't have those kinds of problems. The way she replies to people on other review sites tells you all you need to know about her and will slander anyone who gives her a bad review. Buyer beware, she will charge you through 3rd party apps like Venmo and Paypal and then complain after the fact that you didn't pay her. I wouldn't let her make my dog a cake.

Stacey was an amazing person to work with for a wedding cake! I would definitely recommend her. All the guest loved the cakes! We ran into some issues on my end and she was amazing about resolving the issues. She also helped a lot in narrowing down my options to select the right cakes for us. Beautiful and delicious cakes! Overall, just really great experience I would highly recommend!
