I got lucky with a last-minute haircut with Aubrey, and she gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. She asked great questions, check in with me about the length and 'piecing' of the cut. Wonderful stylist who I'm excited to have found!

I am not from Omaha and was nervous to try a new hair place here! I was recommended bungalow 8 by a few of my friends/coworkers and decided to give it a shot - best choice ever!! I see Alyssa and she does an amazing job - im a natural blonde but hair is getting a bit more brassy/darker as I get older. Love the natural bright blonde highlighting Alyssa does & the cut/blowout. I always get compliments & asked where I go!The salons vibe is boujee but inviting & relaxing! Definitely will be my forever Omaha hair place. It is a bit pricey but very worth it in my opinion for the quality you get.

This was my first experience not only at Bungalow 8 but also at this type of hair salon as I have spent the last 40 years at places like Sports Clips, Great Clips etc. I decided to grow my hair out and finally felt I needed a more professional spot with greater talent. No offense to any other place as they have served me well for years. I called to make an appointment and as expected they are booked out pretty well but depends who you want to see. My wife recommended Elise. I was quite nervous coming into it and Elise did a fantastic job. Very easy going and helpful. I highly recommend her and will feel much more at ease for my next cut.

I really enjoyed getting my hair cut here with Clara. She moved away since I visited but I do think I will come here again and see another stylist for my haircuts. They use/sell bumble & bumble products which are my favorite. It was super easy and convenient to book an appointment here with their online system. My haircut turned out really nice and it was exactly what I asked for. The ambiance of the salon is very pleasing and they offer you a drink while you wait for your appointment. I'd recommend coming here for haircuts. It's also close by to Trader Joe's/Whole Foods for errands right after!

I moved to Omaha in August and was very nervous about finding a salon. I agonized for months before making an appointment at BUNGALOW/8 in early November based upon Yelp reviews. The salon has a great vibe. It felt welcoming and not "cookie cutter" when I walked in the door. In addition, the stylist I saw was super nice. I enjoyed our conversation while she cut my hair.BUTWhen I went in my hair was below my bra strap and I was ready for a change. I asked for a lob, which the stylist gave me.After my hair was shampooed it parted to one side. The stylist asked if that was usually where I part my hair and I told her I often do but it depends on my mood. Despite my response, she cut my hair using where it had parted as the dividing line. This means that now when I'm busy and push my hands through my hair frequently it parts somewhere other than where she cuts it, and I have really weird and unattractive pieces sticking out. I have a public facing job and it makes me feel really insecure.From my understanding the stylist who cut my hair is one of the more senior stylists at BUNGALOW/8 which raises a lot of questions about quality control. I wanted to like the salon, but unfortunately great vibe did not equal great quality.

Hi everyone!My fiancé and I recently moved to Omaha. Just prior to the pandemic, I really didn't know where to start when looking for a new hair stylist. I read a few Google reviews from around town and finally landed on a Yelp review about Bungalow/8. I sent a general inquiry and Eric responded immediately with recommendations for two stylists at his salon who know curly hair. One phone call and I was booked with Elise for a week later.... with SMS confirmation and reminders too!My hair is curly and brunette and shoulder length (or longer) ever since I can remember. The reception team was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked into the salon. Elise walked out to greet me right on time and I was immediately relieved to see that she also lives the curly hair life. She gave me a brief tour of the salon, explained the process and products she would be using, and listened to my every wish for this morning's "fresh start" chop! Elise dove right in with a dry cut, an invigorating scalp massage, and fabulous conversation. The Innersense line is therapeutically aromatic and the mousse left my curls feeling light/soft NOT weighted down/crunchy. I highly recommend Elise to any lusciously locked lady in Omaha. The era of the curly bob has commenced for me and I'm not looking back :) Change is good, people!-Olivia H.

I just moved to Omaha from a different state and was really excited to try this hair salon for the first time. The reviews were good and the place seemed professional.I called to make an appointment and specifically asked for a hair stylist who can work with a thick , curly and long hair like mine. You paired me with Natasha (I believe that was her name). A nice lady who seemed like she knew what she was doing.Little did I know I was wrong. After coming back home and washed my hair after the blowout, I was left speechless. This is the most uneven and worst haircut I've ever got. Uneven layers, took a lot of the length even when I specifically asked to keep it longer as possible, and an unflattering shape. I'm so disappointed, I honestly thought this would be my new hair salon that I would go to from now on, but after my first (and last) experience I'm doubtful that I'll ever come back to this place again .

Obsessed. I have fine hair and have horror stories of other hair dressers. Kelly is AMAZING! She is SO fast while being SO thorough! Talented people here. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Bungalow/8 hairdressing! The service was out of this world and my hair turned out perfectly! I have been looking for a salon that knows how to take care of my hair while still helping me achieve a beautiful end result. The atmosphere helped make the experience. 10/10 will be returning.

I had read rave reviews and have been looking for a new stylist for the last year. I was set up a stylist with a few days and in a time frame that was perfect for my schedule. A great location to boot- very central. Sadly, the front desk was more focused on making plans for after work than check me in. The stylist who cut my hair seemed like I was interrupting her time and did not even ask what I wanted done so I was given a trim. I was hoping to take off 4-5 inches. She didn't talk me. Took 40 minutes to blow dry my hair when my hair is fairly thin...I have natural wave and usually just ask for a bit of product and diffuse it but she didn't ask how I wanted it styled either. My hair looked nice, I will give her that, but the whole customer service experience was extremely cold. Not returning.
