Great product at a fair price. When we needed Hunter Green roofing shingles to complete our estate they came through.

Unbelievably poor customer service. We got an order acknowledgement from our contractor, called them to pay, and they tried to extort us by saying the price of lumber had increased by 15% in 4 days. Dealt with the manager Kathy, who may be the single worst customer-facing employee I've ever dealt with. We got transferred around multiple times before getting to her, nobody had a clue what they were doing. We'll be going through another supplier, even if it costs $1K more. This company will never get a penny of mine now, thanks to Kathy. STEER CLEAR, you have plenty of options in Omaha that don't involve price inflation/extorsion, and abysmal customer service.

Great products at fair prices. The customer service is much better than the big box stores. You can tell they truly care about your project.

At one time Builders Supply was THE place to do business. Sadly, that is no longer true. My last three visits there have convinced me that Builders Supply does not care about walk-in customers. I have had problems with quality and availability of lumber. The staff at the desk either wants to talk down to you or sell you something other that what you specified. Evidently they want to sell only to contractors. That's fine with me because I will not go back to Builders Supply. Good riddance.

Avoid Builders supply! Piss poor management. I bought siding for my house from builder supply on a friends account. When I purchased it I made sure I bought a little bit extra in case I messed up. At the time of purchasing and then again earlier this year I called to make sure I could still return my extras that I've kept stored in my garage over the winter. I was told by multiple employees that since it was bought on an account and stored inside it would not be an issue. Low and behold when I try to return it, an extremely unpleasant woman who was not apologetic in the least bit told me I'm screwed as they have a hard 90 day return policy. I asked to speak to the manager and she refused to pass me onto them. I asked even though I was told by two from their employees at separate times I could still return it I just have to eat the $300 and siding. She said yes and then hung up on me

I rarely write reviews but I think everyone needs to understand what they are getting into when working with this company. I am in the process of building a deck and came to Builders Supply after creating a plan to get a bid on the materials. Their deck rep was knowledgeable about their products and helped us reduce our materials after looking at our plans and making adjustments. I resubmitted those plans to the city and worked on taking time off from work to complete my project. I was able to take off a week in July and had footing pads approved for my job instead of cement footings. I was emailing Builders Supply regularly with any changes and let them know my start date when I wanted the supplies delivered (the Monday of my week off) the Wednesday prior. I dug my footings on Sunday.On Monday morning, I called to see when my supplies would be delivered. Not only did their guy NOT put the order in, when he went to complete the order, they didn't have the footing pads in stock! That is literally the next step in this project. I had them rush the delivery of everything else and that still didn't get delivered until Tuesday night. It is now Wednesday night and I am at a stand still until they can get those pads. I wanted to be DONE with this project by Thursday so I could get our patio furniture put together on Friday. I have gotten one apology this whole time and I still don't know when the pads will be in because they couldn't get a tracking number from their supplier which means they didn't require overnight shipping! On top of that, a lot of the lumber is split on the ends and the pieces I used for the ledger board were really warped. Horrible customer service, poor quality product and much more expensive than buying at a big box store. I was offered no discount for this huge delay and now I'll gave to complete this job after work for the next week, IF THE FOOTING PADS EVER COME IN!
