Good Singapore noodles!I have been missing Singapore noodles since Canton House on North 90th St. removed it from their menu several years ago and subsequently closed.Saw in a review for Buddha Belly that Singapore noodles were on the menu. As it was close to my lunchtime errand path, gave it a try. Unassuming building, but clean and nicer on the inside than the parking lot would lend one to believe. No other customers were inside at 1:30 p.m. on a Wednesday.As for the Singapore noodles, a very good rendition!The counter attendant (who I suspect is the proprietor although I don't know) was friendly and worked with my schedule to time the pickup just right.One tiny issue -- I wish they had airtight containers for to-go dishes instead of styrofoam. It worked out OK this time, but any kind of saucy dish could be problematic in transport.

Went threw the drive through for lunch today and my wife got the Peanut butter chicken and I got the firecracker Shrimp and got the chicken egg rolls. The guy at the window wasn't very friendly. The peanut butter chicken was crispy and delicious, as was the egg rolls! The firecracker shrimp didn't have any heat and was a little runny for my taste. I would recommend this place to anyone, I would just try a different entree next time.

But what makes Buudha Belly special is the daily chef's special, which may feature in-season vegetables or a creative combination of old favorites. Communication is good, so you can make special requests with no problem. Flavor: 4/5. Sweet or salty, but rarely subtle.Value: 5/5. Prices are low and portions are generous. Special diets: 3/5. No nutritional information is available. A good variety of veggie options, and I've found I can ask for extra veggies with almost any dish. When asked, they said they don't use MSG, but a family member has reacted to the food as if MSG (or something similar) was present.Atmosphere: 2/5. Good views...of roads and a few trees. Spartan fast food vibe. Tables can be moved to accommodate groups.Cleanliness: 5/5.Access: Plenty of parking, drive through, easy in and out from any direction. No insurmountable wheelchair barriers. The website hasn't been updated for years and still shows them at their old location in Gretna.Food is served in Styrofoam containers. Sauces can melt Styrofoam (it's happened to me with hot garlic sauce at this restaurant), leaving a big mess if it melts through, and adding nasty chemicals to your food.

This spot used to be China Bistro. They continue to offer the convenient and quick drive thru service. I got the Buddha Belly friend rice which is like combo fried rice but with extra seasonings according to the person who took my order. It was really good and pretty much everything I wanted in a fried rice. The crab rangoon are giant and very flavorful. I also like the sweet and sour sauce that is not the bright pink kind that I'm used to getting in most Chinese restaurants. This is so close to my work I'll definitely be stopping by again. Reasonable prices and quick friendly service!

Went to Buddha Belly hoping they would be as good as their successor (and the craving of Chinese food helped).It was nice to see that the inside has received a minor upgrade that was definitely needed. The customer service at BB was great. The owner was very friendly and talked to us while we're waiting for our order.The food varied in deliciousness. The crab rangoon and pot stickers were absolutely fantastic! The rangoons were huge and the filling was creamy and delicious. For me, the sauce for pot stickers is what makes or breaks it. Buddha Belly's sauce was awesome!The shrimp fried rice and firecracker shrimp were good, but, not great. Specifically, the SFR was just like any other and the firecracker shrimp was not at all spicy like the name presumes. I was greatly disappointed in the shrimp pad tai. The noodles were over cooked and the dish itself lacked in flavor. To make it a little tastier, I added soy sauce and some of the extra sauce from the firecracker shrimp. I am hardly ever the person to try a place once and never go back if dissatisfied. The owner recommended the Buddha fried rice, so, I'm definitely going to have to go back to try it. I recommend trying it and deciding it for yourselves.Happy eating Yelpers!

I've been going here since they changed over to Buddha Belly and they're so good! They're super quick and convenient. Never had any issues or concerns. Their vegetable rolls & crab Rangoons are very flavorful. Oh and not to mention they're reasonably priced. I also like how you can order a lunch size any time of the day. Definitely recommend!!

My fav Chinese food place in Omaha. The crab Rangoon are the BEST in Omaha. I get drive thru regularly.Love the new owners, sesame chicken is amazing.

Funny name but great food! The peanut butter chicken is fantastic. Give this place a try!

Attempted to dine there this week ,entered establishment an was met by an agitated gentlemen. I was admonished about parking in non handicap spot and I should move my vehicle to the handicap slot. In a state of confusion I left, and will not return under any circumstance. How ironic that there were plenty of available parking slots . If what transpired was intended to be humorous it failed miserably .

So delicious!! I ordered the peanut butter chicken and general Tso chicken with fried rice and soup. Highly recommend both. Also got some crab rangoons and they were so fresh!!! If you haven't tried this place, you are missing out. Gave it four stars because I'd love to try some more before I give it a five!
