Carl runs a tight ship, does good work and has been established for a long time. He also charges almost $200 an hour for labor. Most independent repair shops charge between $80-$90 per hour in Omaha and most dealerships charge between $80-$125. Mark up on parts has been consistently higher than quoted averages from others as well, which I have experienced with tires too. Love this neighborhood station but I only get gas there now.

Example: was expecting to have to replace my whole exhaust system ($1000+) - but Bob and crew patched the problems and got me back on the road in just a few hours for less than $300. I have been going to Buchanan for some time. Bob and his team are the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever used for car repair. Their prices are more than fair and they never pressure you into something you don't need, unlike the chain store shops here in Omaha.

Bob was phenomenal getting my car towed in after it died half way thru my errands Friday. He fixed it n I had my car back the next day by end of business day. He always is so helpful and makes maintenance on my car easy and affordable. Recommend 100% over any other mechanic out there!
