Bubbles and blocks on 48th and Pioneers is the worse daycare ever. My grandson started there over a month ago he was signed up to go Monday-Thursday. about three weeks after he started they gave My daughter a warning that he had to be there on Fridays her day off for at least 6 hours. Why would she take him on her day off. They told her she would be charged for it no matter what this was never told to us when he started. Then then called her today and said effective today he could no longer come back because he missed another Friday. We were already looking for another daycare but needed just a little more time.. My other daughter was let into the locked door by head staff and not asked for a ID and was able to walk right into the daycare and get him no questions asked. A random lady that they have never met was able to go into a locked facility was directed to his room and picked up with not ONE question asked We didn't want him to have to go back there it's not safe they don't know me or my other daughter at this daycare never seen us never met us and both of us at different times walked in there and picks up my grandson . No one asked us who were no name nothing. When I addressed the head lady regarding this she said if you got in with a code we don't ask who you are. . How they would even know that I got in with a code or i Walked in behind someone when my no one was even uoThere. when asked about it the head director lied right to my face and told me my daughter had called and said he was getting picked up early which was impossible because she was in the hospital and even if she had called and said someone else was picking him up they still didn't know my other daughter or what she looks like at all and was able to walk right out the doors with him The diaper was put on everyday with the tabs overlapping so tight I have pictures ofThe marks on my grandson. From the diaper. They definitely don't wipe their noses. tI wouldn't trust hem to tell the truth about anything if they had to lie about something so simple what else could they be lying about. Don't take your child here it is not safe.

Great friclean child development center. The staff and owner are great! If you are in Lincoln, NE and looking for a daycare this place is wonderful.

TERRIBLE DAYCARE. They treat your kids just like they are a number. My experience there was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

This place is ok. We attended the North location. Not the worst place in town, definitely not the best. It's clean, and the lead teachers we had in infant 2 and toddler 1 were great. The supplemental teachers were spotty. Some were fine some were absolutely awful. They were all very undertrained and never stayed around long. They pretty much ignored the kids unless there was a problem. We had multiple issues, such as the teachers ignoring my son on arrival and letting him chase me out the door screaming instead of helping him transition to the day. We also had an issue where I overheard a teacher tell a less than 2 year old child to shut up. But mostly I just felt like they didn't do much to nurture development. The worst part was the attitude of the male owner. When I brought my concerns to his attention (in an extremely polite conversation) I was told "this is a business and if you don't like it, I have a waitlist." I just think that is a horrible attitude for someone who is being entrusted with the health and well being of children. That being said, the two lead teachers we had were fine. I felt like my kid was mostly safe. It was clean. We obviously like our new daycare A LOT better but I've also heard of places a lot worse.

When I found out I was pregnant I searched all over Lincoln for a good infant care center. It was a struggle. I could not fathom leaving my child at some of these child centers. There were some places that (as an emotional pregnant woman) made me want to cry. My son has attended Bubbles and Blocks South since he was a new born. It was always been wonderful. The staff are friendly, educated and kind to both my son and I. They send me photographs on occasion via text and let me know when he learns something new. My son is all smiles when he gets to Bubbles in the morning, and I know he has a good time there. The only negative is that they do not offer discounts for siblings - and they are a tad pricey. (Although they are in the same range as some of the far less attractive day cares we visited).I absolutely recommend Bubbles and Blocks South!
