My grandfathers nurse, Megan RN on 3rd floor was the most unpleasant and most rude nurse we have ever had to deal with. She was not compassionate at all and never had any sort of answers for us. We had more questions and she just walked out of the room and didn't say a word. Very unprofessional!!

Bryan Medical Center - East Campus, located on 1600 S. 48th St. Lincoln, Nebraska. This morning I had a double appointment following a cardiac procedure done about two weeks ago. All looks good, by the way. The facility has plenty of parking, mainly due to the 4-level parking structure next to the main buildings. Inside the lobby area was lightly populated and there is an information desk right in front staffed with a very cheerful and courteous clerk. All floors I visited this morning were clean and spacious. There were signs everywhere, especially ne'er the elevators, to keep me informed of where I needed to go and who was offices on each floor. In the lobby and you travel towards the main elevators, the was a pianist playing on what looked like a grand piano. I like this hospital quite a lot and am very glad to have most of my appointments here.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I went to the ER with the worst migraine of my life. I felt like someone was taking a sledgehammer to my head and it was day 8 of this migraine. When I got there, they put me in a hallway in a chair where they started an IV. I was left with the IV in my arm for about 1.5 and had no one to check on me. The nurse who originally put the IV in came back and apologized to me (she was an angel) and told me they were swamped. I told her I understand but that the IV was sending zings up my arm. Came to find out, it was sitting on a nerve for the last 20 minutes of it being in there. To this day, I have permanent damage in my left arm. When the doctor came back, the migraine was still there so he recommended a lumbar puncture. I refused as I was alone and terrified and felt like that was a last resort. He said that if I didn't get it, I had to leave against medical advice which I did. When I said this, he was pissed. He threw the paper to sign at me. I felt like he wanted me to get this lumbar puncture for his own satisfaction or something. Then, they sent me a $2,000 medical bill after all of this which I said I'm not paying because of the treatment I received. I had them look into this and they said they did nothing wrong. I then applied for some financial assistance and the woman on the phone told me that the assistance was for people who actually need it.. wow. I was then granted the assistance and I made scheduled payments on the bill. I missed 1 single payment because I was in the hospital after having a double mastectomy! And they sent me to collections. If you want terrible medical care and awful staff, this is your place!

I have had several things done here. Left Main stented By Doctor Cookman, A great Cardiologist. supraclavicular Node removed (Cancer) by Doctor Wolfe from ENT Specialists of Lincoln, NE another great Doctor. So about Bryan East. The staff, and Nurses here are so good, and take such good care of me when I come in. From Admitting to the time I get in the car to go home they are all great. Ashely and Renee you are both a great asset to all the patients you serve. Thank You so much for making me feel cared for. Hope to see you again if I need anything else done. I highly recommend this hospital.

So disappointed... I came to bring my mom and the waiting room had about two people here. Still waiting to even get her weight and stuff and they have passed 4 people already. Like wtf my mom is in pain and she just here waiting. So disappointed... deciding to be leaving since nobody cares. Once it a life threatening situation that's when they are aware. So disappointed with the service here.

A great hospital. I'm an out of town guy, needed a couple scripts written. Got no wait, no bs from the doctors. Got 30 day scripts. I've been to other hospital and gotten all kinds of grief. It's not like I'm asking for Xanax or oxycontin. The staff was friendly. There were outlets to charge my electronics. The bathroom was clean. It was in a safe location. Great all the way around. Parking is no problem as well.

The nurse, we had, was very slow with giving my boyfriend any medication for his pain. She would mess around on the computer or talk the whole time and didn't care that my boyfriend was in any pain. She would say, we gotta wait 20 minutes for the next medicine, another 20 minutes for this medicine. Granted, I am not a doctor or nurse, but the last experience we had with the same illness, we were told different. And the doctor stated the obvious and left within 20 seconds. Didn't follow-up with anything, just take your medicine. Very poor service/staff. Needed to be on their game more. Nurse/doctor was not helpful. Very disappointed.

My medical procedure went fine. THEN the problems started - with billing. I'm being billed TWICE for the procedure. I paid over the phone when I couldn't access MyChart. More than a week later, I receive a bill for the procedure. I am being billed TWICE.It is virtually impossible to actually speak to a person in the billing department. I've left comments on the "contact Bryan" page. I spoke to the "patient's advocate" or something like that, but have not heard back from Bryan Health.

If you place any value on your health and your time stay away from this place. I went here at approximately 0130 in the morning because i was feeling very ill. The first thing they do with any patient is admit you and take your blood pressure. Keep that in mind....Eleven hours later after telling them i am leaving because the heart rhythm doctor told me to leave and dont come back, i was stopped by a nurse and told not to leave. Another doctor came in the room and stated after 11 + hours, your blood pressure reached the point where we generally start seeing people have a stroke so we would like to do an MRI on your brain to make sure you havent had a stroke.Eleven hours of suffering and being told to leave. After monitoring my blood pressure for "ELEVEN HOURS" in the ER mind you, they decided it might be a good idea to give me blood pressure medicine and MRI my brain for fear i may have had a stroke. This is absolutely the worst hospital in the entire state of Nebraska in my opinion. DO not take your loved ones to this place, you have fair warning.

My father who is 85 was sent to this so-called hospital for care. I live out of town, and it was like pulling teeth to get any information or a doctor to call me back with any status on him. I finally talk to my father, and he is telling me they are coming in and poking him "14 times so far for blood". I'm like WTH why are they drawing so much blood? He tells me the steroids that they were giving him were too high. I find out after the fact that the steroids caused his blood sugar to rise. When I finally do talk to a doctor, she tells me that he is not responding to the 5 days of antibiotic and that the steroids are hard on his kidneys. She did NOT tell me that it raised his blood sugar levels. So, I guess after 5 days of not responding to antibiotics they pretty much give up and send him home with palliative/hospice care. When the time comes for transport to home the nurses taking care of him did not even know he was going home. My dogs have gotten better treatment at a veterinary hospital than this place provided. I would not recommend taking you loved one to this place.
