Brokedown Palace

Where have you been all my life...or at least as long as I have been in Omaha. So this bar really checks my boxes.Dive bar - CheckGrateful Dead themed - Check!!Greeted by a dog when we walked in - CheckJam Bands on the Jukebox - Check!So sure this is just a bar tucked away at the end of a non-descript strip mall and sure it's not fancy, but Grateful Dead and Nebraska anything usually don't go hand in hand, so this was a great surprise to find and then check out. The drinks were strong, the atmosphere chill, the music was great, the people friendly and hell there were a couple dogs roaming around when we were there. That's pretty much a perfect evening.

I went to the Browndown Palace for the first time this past weekend to see my favorite local band Rhythm Collective perform and I had an amazing time! The show was supposed to be outdoors, but with it being pretty cold, they performed inside instead. They had great deals on drinks (my favorite being the $6 lemon drop shots) and they had little chandeliers as well as Husker decor I loved. I got to see my favorite local band super close and they hung out afterwards. $10 cover charge to stay for the show. My service was good that I got as well. Really loved it here and would go back! :) (Especially if Rhythm Collective comes back)

This place is tucked away but has a solid amount of regulars. Prices are fine, cool fish tank right in the door, nice bartenders. Good for a couple beers or the 90th Street bar crawl...

Small town bar in the city ~ I'm from a small town and this reminds me of one of those friendly small town dive bars that your happy to chill in w good friends for an unspecified amount of time. Can't wait to watch a game here - GBR!

We checked out this place a couple of months ago for their birthday bash. Cool vibe and they put on a great party with bands playing both in and outside. The event brought a good crowd and everyone was having a great time!

If you're a dead head - come on over! We don't have many choices here in ol' cornfield land but regardless, if you love the dead, you need to check this place out. The vibe and decor/art makes you know you're with the fam. I highly suggest the patio. Beautifully set up and very peaceful. Service was attentive and you can be a dumb ass like me and buy several brokedown t-shirts or coozies to rake up your tab. No regrets. Great people, even better tunes and if there is dead related live stream going on, you can bet they'll be playing it. Cheers

Well valley was great, but valley's service was greater. We love sitting with no beers when we asked for no beers. Also we got no shots when we didn't ask for shots. BUT when we asked for shots, they were poured immediately. So we added a star for that, that was nice. Black Sabbath was playing on the jukebox. So that made me feel comfortable. The bartender wore a sexy tank top and I played fetch with a dog. All said and done, I'll be back 100x over. Sorry in advance, Val and Ross.

I nice little spot outside seating pool table!! Friendly bar tenders great service! Vary reasonably prices across the board!! Good bands on weekends twice a month call ahead!! For young and old enjoy
