Where to start..... If you want the short version, this is the most amazing preschool out there and ANY CHILD would be lucky to get a spot there. I toured more than 10 preschools between Omaha and Phoenix and not one compares to Bluebird, including three other Montessori Preschools. We are on our second child at Bluebird, it simply has been life changing for our family and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Every staff member knows every student and they are all great individuals, not to mention it's the same group as when my son started. In other preschools we tried we've experienced high turnover, and since children thrive on consistency, it really interrupts the learning and experience they are they for.We have the option to have kept the kids home doing a home-school preschool but what Bluebird offers teaching the Social, Emotional, Intellect and Independence could absolutely not be matched.I believe THE WAY THEY TEACH and THE TEAM they have in place is what sets them apart, I can not say enough about the staff. The Director is phenomenal, the owner is there all of the time, maybe every day and the teachers and their assistants are just great at what they do. It's not too big and that's why it's like a little family, a family we are SO GRATEFUL TO BE A PART OF!!!

I was threatened by the director that they would take legal action against me should I say anything bad about the school but I have to do my due diligence. Due to these threats I will keep my review short with some helpful advice I wish I had gotten when I was having issues with Bluebird. My advice to parents who have children enrolled here is to document all injuries until you can find another place. Trust your instincts as parents and your childrens word. After my experience here it's my opinion that they don't have your child's best interest at heart. Best of luck to you and I hope that Bluebird will someday become worthy of the ridiculous amount they charge.

My son has been attending Montessori school since he was two years old and we recently just started him at Bluebird Montessori. It honestly brings tears to my eyes when I see him in the Montessori environment. He is a completely different boy but different in such a good way. He is like all other 3 year old boys... busy and does not sit still for a long period of time. To see him sit at a desk that is his size and do Montessori work (and he could do it for hours) amazes me. He absolutely loves this place; he loves the teachers, the environment, the outside play area, the Montessori work, and he loves learning how to be more independent. Not only is his learning improving but his manners are improving as well which I love. Thank you for providing such an amazing school and daycare for my son! I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone!

My child has been learning at Bluebird since he was a toddler and will soon be promoted to kindergarten. We have had the pleasure of seeing him be promoted to every class with every teacher in these years. Born during the COVID years, he had very high stranger anxiety and would cry inconsolably when not with parents. Bluebird helped him overcome that distress with all the patience and love. Today his eyes light up when going to the school as he finds it his second home. Montessori education may not be a unique learning style anymore but easing a kid out into a new environment away from one's home is. Bluebird is unique at this. As a kid in the primary class today, I would attribute the significant growth in his creative skills to Bluebird. Monitoring habits, reporting incidents, highlighting achievments & improvement-areas through parent-teachers meet - they are prompt and dilligent at it. I couldn't have made a better investment in my child than Bluebird and I am so happy I did. I would highly reccomend the school to any parent looking for a safe, educative and a happy environment for a school.

Parents BewareI've been waiting to write this review as directed by Child Protective Services (CPS) for fear of interfering with their investigation. See this picture. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori. There were only 5 kids in the classroom with 2 teachers and they say they have no idea how it happened. Nobody saw or heard anything. This is not a simple bruise or small scratch. This is BIG. During their investigation CPS did find "a toy box with rough edges that *daughter* could have placed her hand in which could have produced those large scratches on her forearm (from her elbow to her wrist)."When you send your child to daycare you expect they'll be cared for. If they would have told us this happened that day we would have been understanding. But to avoid the blame and responsibility by claiming to know nothing is much worse. This shows neglect and it raises the question about what they're hiding. For example, the next day our daughter got a small scratch near her eye and they told us about it. Understandable. Later the same week (January 7, 2021) she had some red marks on her cheek from placing her face on the snow trying to eat it. They also told us about it and filled out an incident report. OK, but this raised another concern. How much was she putting her face in the snow? Were the caretakers watching? Why wasn't she redirected to do something else?January 7 was the last straw and our daughter's final day attending Blue Bird. If your child currently attends Blue Bird please ask yourself if you've seen any signs of neglect or unusual happenings. If you're considering sending your child here just know you may not get the care your child deserves or the full story from them. Look at the picture of my daughter's arm. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori and nobody claims to know how it happened. Is this incompetence, laziness or something else? Is this the care you want your child to receive?

My two children have attended Bluebird for a year and I have nothing negative to say about the school or staff. We are a military family and have had our children in multiple preschools. With that being said, Bluebird has been the best by far. The staff/owner are caring and take time to get to know your child. Both of my children have greatly improved on all their development skills since attending this preschool. I highly recommend this school if you value your child's development skills, they won't disappoint you.

Attention parents considering to send your children to BLUEBIRD MONTESSORI DAYCARE!!! On January 4, 2021, our daughter came home from BLUEBIRD, where she was attending at that time, with deep scratches on her arm as seen in the pictures. The director of the school, Mr. Tom, said they didn't know anything and convinced us our daughter was safe. Later that week they told us that our daughter's cheek was irritated from the snow. She laid on the snow multiple times and nobody thought to redirect her to do something else. She is a petite, 3-year-old, good-natured girl. We immediately took our daughter from the daycare and never sent her to BLUEBIRD MONTESSORI DAYCARE again. We informed the police. The police closed the case because they could not find any evidence. The Child Protection Service also did an investigation. They found a sharp-edged toy that could possibility have caused the scratches. The BLUEBIRD MONTESSORI DAYCARE hid what happened to our daughter's arm. Also at the very least wasn't paying attention to her. This worries us even more. We want to know what happened to our daughter's arm! Also, we do not want what happened to our daughter to happen to other children!! If anything has happened to your child or know of anyone's child having incidents at BLUEBIRD please contact us. If there's a pattern it needs to be exposed. If you're considering sending your child here, be advised. Also please share my review/post that we can reach more families that may send their kids to BLUEBIRD MONTESSORI DAYCARE!

I have been thrilled with Bluebird Montessori as my two-year old daughter's school for the last four months. The teachers and teachers' assistants are all delightful, energetic, intelligent people who are highly devoted to engaging the children. They treat the children and their parents with the utmost respect. The environment is beautiful, orderly, and inspiring--including a garden in the school's backyard where the kids learn how to grow their own food. They then pick their vegetables and even learn to (safely) prepare their food with what they have culled from the garden. For me, one key question to ask of a preschool is, "How do you retain your teachers and assistants?" as many preschools tend to have problems with a high turnover rate. I have toured many schools in the area that did not answer this question in a way that satisfied me. At Bluebird, the friendly feeling among staff and between the owner and the teachers is palpable and obvious. As an educator myself, it is extremely important to see that teachers are appreciated by the institutions where they work, and this could not be more true at Bluebird Montessori.
