My father recently passed away and they conveniently delayed responding to our request to cancel his membership until they could bill him for an additional month. They are unethical. The manager refused to provide me with an escalation path. There are so many fitness options in Omaha... stay away from this one.

DON'T Do It I'll provide reasoning as to why I would not recommend Blue Moon. I am an active duty service member. Summer 2023 there was a $1 sign up, biweekly payment, NO CONTRACT. Promotion. That is what was briefed to me by personnel employed at this business. I was placed on orders to another state and when cancelling I was told to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I paid it. This prompted me to review the initial contract again. It see that there are multiple errors. I then bring this to the attention of management who after several days of dodging the customer, (Kevin Bromley to be specific) explains that because I paid the cancellation fee I am not entitled to a refund. That if I would not paid it then the membership cancellation fee wouldn't be an issue. I close with multiple employees acknowledging that the membership was set up wrong. I also take accountability for signing documentation (allegedly) that was incorrect. Please do not do business with this company. They could care less about customer satisfaction.

Great staff and kind personal trainers. Disregard the complaints about canceling you set if a few other reviews. According to the law they can't take your cancelation without something in person or certified mail. I had that same experience at two other gyms. People's choices to decline service need to be handled by them the customer responsibly. The managers and staff treat me with respect and are genuine for the most part. Make sure you know what you want and stick to it. If you change your mind after signing a contract then just drive in and handle it like a mature adult.The only thing i can say turns me off is they are pushing a lot of technology like heart monitoring or 3d body scan (no i really don't want a rendering of my dad bod). Stick with the basics and you will be satisfied. They are trying too hard to sell you on styku scans or massage chairs or tanning. Just focus on basics for me. But if perks are your thing they have plenty of them. Fine star place. Very nice people

I will be going in soon & cancelling my membership! The staff is rude over the phone & I had to call multiple times now just to find out how to cancel my membership. They've been charging me $21.40 a WEEK to workout here! That is actually ridiculous, I was under the impression it was $21.40 a month which I think isn't too bad, it was never brought to my attention it would be coming out weekly. I go to college full time & only work a part time job & I don't have money to be spending $86 on a gym membership every month. Clearer communication would be great, however due to this experience I will never go to this gym again. Thanks for making my experience awful

Don't go here they lie to you and charge you even when you have cancelled your membership then threaten to take the other months you "owe" them for this place is a joke! Anytime fitness all the way or 24 hour you get way more for your money at those places anyways and they don't treat you like crap there!

Do not go to this gym. Or any blue moon. I was charged 50 dollars to get out of my contract after being with blue moon for over 2 years. Had to pay $60 worth of yearly fees in two months. Poor customer service. Pick literally any other gym you can.

This location in particular has such a great staff that loves working there. All smiles when I walk in. Much enthusiasm and effort is so wonderful! This is my first yelp review on anything but I had to figure it out so I can say GREAT JOB! Keep it up! Moving to a big city was hard for me and everyone here is So nice and helpful! God Bless!

The gym experience was OK to good. Place was clean, and I could generally get on the equipment/machines I wanted. WiFi was spotty, and getting assistance, such a spot on the bench, was touch and go.Cancelling was an awful experience. I cancelled due to switching jobs, I was no longer in the area. Was told that it had to be done in person. "Can you email the forms?" "No, has to be in person." "Can I send you signed photos of my Driver's License?" "No, has to be in person." It is literally easier to cancel/change banks or insurance providers than a stupid gym. Thanks guys! I gladly would have returned prior to this, but now I'm a pissed off former customer.

Awful experience trying to cancel my monthly membership. I'm in college and taking advantage of the on-campus workout facilities since I already pay that in my tuition. I was canceling my monthly membership just until I was out of college, but I will not be going back to Blue Moon now. First, they make it a huge hassle to cancel. There is no way to manage your membership online, so I called to their offices and was told I had to physically go to the gym to cancel or I could send "certified mail" which would have cost me approximately $30. I'm in college in a different town, how am I supposed to make this work? I ended up making an unscheduled trip home just to cancel a gym membership and avoid the additional fees. Second, they will charge you for an extra month. I had already paid my fees for the month of February and canceled my membership in early February. When I canceled, I was told I would still be charged for the month of March even though I would not be using the gym. This just seems shady business. They can see that I haven't been using the gym recently, and to charge me for an extra month is just a money hungry grab from the company. Overall, very disappointed in the management and treatment of customers. You are a source of profit, not a "valued customer". Don't get me wrong, most employees are great, but upper management and the owner(s) need to re-evaluate their business plan.
