Blair Garden Center & Greenhouse

I absolutely love this greenhouse! They had so many options available and the flowers were all so healthy looking. The service was very friendly. I got beautiful hanging baskets for a great price!

Blair Garden Center & Greenhouse was so helpful and so reasonably priced. I will definatly be going back every spring or any time I need some garden help or supplies.

I really like this place. If you like pet shops and gardening, this is for you. There are small dogs and occasional kittens running around. You can purchase all manner of small mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish and the occasional bird (I have seen baby cockatiels, love birds, pigeons, quail, and young chickens for sale there). While your significant other is petting the guinea pigs or eyeing the scorpions, you can wander around the greenhouses. Annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, they have it all. Plenty of natives. They deliver rock, soil, compost, mulch etc.Prices are reasonable, and as always you should really check the health of the plant before buying it (e.g. rootbound, underwatered, etc), and, best of all, John and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. He will cut you a deal, more often than not.

We love getting small animals there and our garden supplies. Great for the whole family.

Do not shop at this place. John the owner is a total jerk. Not sure how he stays in business. Bought a tree from him last year that died. These trees are supposed to be guaranteed for a year. When we went in there first they told us that they did not honor the guarantee due to winter kill. When I said you told us it was guaranteed for a year the lady took our name and number and said John would call us. Of course he never did. Went back in and John tried to give us a scraggly tree that had no chance of living. When asked if he would guarantee it for a year he said no. When I told him we didn't want that tree and wanted our money back he made a statement that he could see I had an attitude. That could have only came from the lady the day before questioning her about the guarantee. He would not give us our money back, gave us store credit, and said he didn't want our business anymore. Jon even said he wished I would have a stroke and die right there on the spot. How a guy like this stays in business I'll never know. I have to give this place a rating but the ratings don't go low enough.
