Sort of hard to figure out the star rating for this place. If you go on quality of the building, it won't score well. It looks like it was built in the mid fifties and any motel of that age will not score well.On the other hand, the place was clean. It had a mini-fridge and microwave that both worked just fine. The TV worked well and had a good selection of channels. The wifi was funky, but that happens at lots of places. So it's an old building, but the folks who own and run it do all they can to make it as best as they are able on what is clearly a slim budget. They clearly work hard and will do what they can to make your stay as good as they can. If you want luxury, this is not your place, but if you want a clean cheap place to sleep with a fridge and microwave to do some cooking, you should stay here.

This is, as Twin Peak's Special Agent Dale Cooper puts it: "a clean room, reasonably priced." It doesn't get any more "no frills" than this. I travel a lot for work, and I am used to using the bigger chain hotels, because they are easy to find and reliable. I found this hotel via Trip Advisor and I found a handful of decent reviews. They are as affordable as it gets, it is a simple, clean room and nothing more. You cannot book online, you must call, and they will take nothing more than your name and phone number. They don't send a confirmation email, which was a little disconcerting to me, but no worries....they will have your room. I joked with friends that I might be walking into a "Bates Motel" scene, but there is nothing to worry about. They are a small, family owned business. It was nice to give my money to a small, family owned business. I highly recommend.......but if you are looking for fancy or posh, this is not the motel you are looking for....

We were in the area deer hunting public land. This is our second stay at the Big T Motel. This is an older style motel type establishment with updated rooms. The rooms are clean, bathrooms were clean, microwave and small refrigerator worked well, heater and exhaust vent worked well in the bathroom with plenty of hot water for the shower and sink. Wifi worked well for us and a great variety of channels on the television. We had a nice desk, night stand, extra table and hanging clothes bar along with a 4-drawer cabinet. The towels were nice fluffy designer towels and the sheets were above the average motel/hotel sheets. Our king bed was extremely comfortable. The parking lot gets a little full with pickup trucks during hunting season but there is spill over parking. There is a Casey's General Store across the street for gas/fuel, coffee, food & snacks. It is walking distance from the Pizza Hut and not too far from Wildhorse Saloon. The owners were extremely nice and accomodating and worked very hard to put us in the room size we needed during their peak time. If we come back to this area to hunt in the future we would not hesitate to stay here again.
