After searching online and reading several reviews I called Big Red's. He was very informative about their cleaning process. I explained about the dog urine and cat scratch damage to our carpet on top of never having them professionally cleaned. I was quoted a price and that's what I was charged after the work was complete. That was a big complaint about some of the bigger companies in town....advertising a discount price but then up charging after arrival.I received a text and email reminder before the appointment. The guys showed up on time and did a very thorough job!! The repair to the cat damaged holes in my carpet were perfect. You can't even tell where it was patched. The smell of dog urine is gone. I will definitely use Big Red's again and refer them to my friends and family.

Steer clear from this company, they are the most dishonest company I have dealt with. I called this company and spoke to Rex in regards to giving me an estimate for a small area on my carpet where my dogs urinated and my kids never cleaned it up. At this time, he informed me that they will come out, look at the carpet, remove the carpet off the pad to see if the urine went all the way down. Once finished they would give me an estimate on what needs to be done. On Jan 3, 2020 around 2:30pm Matt came out, used his blacklight to see where the spots were and it was at that time he only recommended the following treatment stating the spots were not bad. PET - POST - Pet Odor Surface TreatmentPet Odor Surface Treatment - Treat the carpet surface only with enzymes and sanitizing agents designed to neutralize odors and stains. Carpet will be sprayed at a rate two times heavier than regular carpet cleaning and will therefore take 2 times longer to dry. Carpet must stay wet for 45 Minutes while being agitated every 5-10 minutes. Although this will help alleviate pet odors it is a temporary solution and is Not a Guaranteed Pet Odor Removal Process.I asked numerous times if he was sure this was going to get the smell out along with the buildup from me trying to clean it, Matt guaranteed me it would. I told Matt, what I was told would take place in regards to pulling up the carpet to see if it went to the pad when I called to book the estimate. He then assured and guaranteed this would take care of it as it was not bad. At this point I proceeded to schedule an appointment for Jan 8, 2020 9-9:30am. I received a text that day saying Matt was on his way. To my surprise it was not Matt, but another person whose name I forgot. He explained that he will spray the carpet heavier than normal with the chemical solution, wait 20 minutes, come back in and spray it again and let it set for an additional 10 minutes. After that he would suck it up with his tool and that I would need to let it dry. He then asked if he could use some hot water and I said yes, he then started the process. Once he was finished, I smelled it and verbalized to him that it still smells like urine, he proceeded to say that the chemical continues to eat up the enzymes in the dog urine as the carpet dries. I said ok and paid. In the following days continue to smell dog urine still. I call the following Monday morning Jan 13, 2020, with no answer I left a message. I called again on Tuesday after not receiving a call back and left another message. I called Wednesday Jan 15, 2020 after not receiving a call back and Rex finally answered the phone. After stating my name, he acted like he could not hear me, but then the final time I said my first name he cut me off and said my last name. He said yeah I received your messages and forwarded them on to Matt, he said he would call me. Matt called me eventually and set up a time to comeback out to the house around 2:30pm the same day. When Matt came out, he came with another individual who I have never seen before in a maroon sweatshirt. At this point Matt smells the carpet in the spots and acts like there is no smell of dog urine. I said really because it's clear it's still there. The guy in the maroon sweatshirt agreed with me and Matt said oh you can..ok. At that point, I'm over it because they were not trying to call me back and then tried to act like I was lying. When Matt asked me what I want to do next, I advised I want my money back. Matt advised he never guaranteed it and that the company could do it again. There could have been an error in the mixing of the chemical solution or the water was not hot enough. I said no, I just want my money back. I said you guaranteed my mother and I that this would come out. Matt then proceeded to say I never guaranteed it would be removed I provided you the most cost-effective treatment. That is when the guy in the maroon sweatshirt said let's go she's not trying to work with us. He repeatedly said this and then said give it to Rex to deal with. Matt advised he would give to Rex and he will call me. I have never received a call from Rex!!!I called a supposed professional carpet cleaning company to advise what needed to be done to fix my 3 month old carpet. Cost was never an issue, I just wanted the urine smell out of the carpet..no clue where the cost effective came in as I never stated this! In addition, the process they sent me was not followed as the chemical only sat on my carpet for 30-35 minutes and definitely was not agitated every 5-10 minutes. The guy went to his brown van for the first 20 minutes, came back in sprayed, and then went back to his van for the additional 10 minutes. In addition, it states it's temporary, however, it was not even temporary as the smell never went away. As a consumer I do not have to let them repeat the process as you failed the first time. That is my right. I will be disputing this as I'm getting nowhere with my refund of $156

Big Red's helped stretch my parents' carpet prior to them moving into their new home. I was quoted on the phone what I thought was a somewhat high price but it was also sight unseen. However, they seemed reputable and on the ball when I talked to them a few times over the phone, so I went with them. They were also accommodating with the day and time which was non-negotiable due to the movers needing to move furniture in the next day. Long story short: they arrived on-time, were very nice and professional, did a great job and it ended up costing a third of what I was quoted. Highly recommended!!

We had a very expensive area rug cleaned by this company. It was picked up on June 7. It was not returned until July 14. Communication in between was Li'l if none, only if I reached out and questioned where is my rug. The rug came back, but not great. The pre-existing stains were still there and a new one in the middle of the rug. Also along the perimeter, it appears that there is water stains as if the rug had gotten entirely too soaking wet and just couldn't dry out. This is a fragile rug with no backing. It now leaves vacuum marks where before there were none when vacuumed, and sheds a lot of fibers. Also the edges are no longer straight. It's lost its shape. I would not recommend this for any high end expensive area rugs. Or any area rug. I don't think it should have been cleaned with water. And I know that's what they did because when questioned about delivery, Rex stated it needed more time to dry. I pointed out all these issues to Rex when he and his associate delivered it, and I was not offered the happiness guarantee. I actually didn't ask for it because I just wanted them out of the house. Zero stars from me.

We could not be more pleased with the service! First, the work they did was exceptional. We had some REALLY bad waves in our carpet and they got them all out. Second, they cleaned the carpet (16-year-old carpet) we NEVER thought it would get clean and they really did a great job- SO HAPPY! The guys were so pleasant and communication was excellent- we would recommend them to everyone. We added on a room while they were working on the house and it was done much faster than we expected. The prices were GREAT! and the quality of work was exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If I could give this company -0 stars I would. -- First, they forgot the scheduled appointment. I was in town for three days to help my parents, so I did not have much leeway in scheduling;-- Second, the cleaner they sent was lazy, rude, and acted like I was puttinghim out by expecting him to work, and further, the "cleaned" carpets just did not look that great; -- The cleaner got water EVERYWHERE in one of the bathrooms b/c he couldn't take his machine outside (from a ground-floor apartment) to dump the water. I used three full-sized towels to clean it up. It was truly disgusting, plus the jerk didn't acknowledge the mess he made; and-- Fourth, I paid the invoice via credit card at 2:10 p.m. six days after the day the service was performed -- w/ a healthy tip the cleaner did not deserve -- and they kept hounding me for payment for two full months despite me sending them a copy of the invoice that clearly stated $0 due. Several weeks later I called the company's POC to coordinate delivery of the rugs back to my parent's home; it was a Friday mid-morning Omaha time and the POC sounded like he'd just woken up. I work where I cannot have access to a cell phone or e-mail, and calling out can be a challenge. I'd taken the day off to do a few tasks for my parents, albeit remotely, and coordinating delivery was one of those tasks. Once he seemed to wake up and realize why I was calling, he rudely told me that it was his day off and he therefore couldn't be bothered to help me. And instead of having the office call me, he -- again, rudely -- told me to call him on Monday. I explained that I work M-F and that I'd taken the day off so I could call to coordinate delivery; he didn't care. I then asked my parents' caregiver to call to coordinate delivery -- he was rude to her, as well! Unbelievable.I live on the east coast near DC where customer service is regularly poor; however, I've never experienced such poor service from a company in the Midwest, particularly in Omaha. It's sad.I definitely do not recommend this company.
