Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar

Came here to watch a sports game and the staff was helpful to put it on the screen for me. Brooklyn, our waitress, was super sweet and an absolutely awesome server! For a sports bar, I was pretty surprised how good our snacks were. We came here to study (ironic, I know), and we might just do it again! It wasn't too loud in here and has plenty of space inside! (Look at that cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks)

The absolute worst establishment i have ever been to. We waited 30 minutes for our food, the manager stood there behind the bar staring at everyone rather than helping. A female server rolling silverware had filthy fingernails with very visible dirt under her nails. I gave this place another chance, and to my surprise the food was completely diffrent than the time before...as if it couldn't be any worse..it was. If you want dirty fingernails on your silverware and inconsistency in your order! this is definitely the place for you.

Had to update my review after todays visit. First and foremost our waitress was really good. She did all she can and was very pleasant. My problem is with the manager today who sent our waitress out to us to tell us "we are not changing tv channels anymore today". We were literally one of the first in today and immediately told them we wanted a specific game on a tv close to us. After 45 mins...and our game only on a far tv in the corner we asked our waitress again if they can oblige us with our game. Well she asked the manager and the manager sent our waitress out to tell us the above mentioned. We then asked her to send the manager out to us. This manager lady had attitude from the get go. Granted she finally did change it but.... I was taken back by how long it took and how it was handled by her. We had a party of 8 of us too. Next time....on a Sunday....for nfl games....I'll take my party if 8 and all out money elsewhere. So frustratingly handled. Again waitress was great and food was decent too but the manager handled it wrong. Do better manager lady on Sunday 10/2/2022.

A very solid go-to spot if you're in the mood for football, keno and tasty bar food. Over the years I've played volleyball, Keno and arcade games even with friends, coworkers and family. This spot is nestled in between the busy streets of Dodge and Maple and is spacious like other big bars in omaha but with the charm of a neighborhood haunt. The staff is always nice and polite, some have even become friends. The beer selection is large and they have quite a few craft beers on tap. The food menu has exactly what you'd expect and you can't go wrong with the wings or burgers. Outside there are patio tables and picnic tables in the sand. The volley ball courts are spaced out well enough and they host leagues or independent events. (Spring-Fall)If you're in the area I highly recommend this bar over any other.

This is a great place to come and watch sports. The tables have comfortable chairs to come and stay awhile. Great food and drink selection for a sport bar. This is my first time at this location and I will say I was a tad disappointed. It took awhile to get my drink and food which our server was brand new so I won't hold that against him but once I got my food the chicken in my wrap didn't taste fresh it almost tasted like it was from lunch earlier or the evening before. I'll probably try this place again because other big red kenos have been great! Subfar food experience but everything else was great.

Having been to Hyvee numerous times and passing this, I was curious what it was. I recently went with some coworkers on Christmas Eve (around noonish) and the place was packed. I would say it is a hybrid casino/sports bar/dive bar/casual hang out vibe. If I'm looking for a casual place to meet up with some friends, I would consider coming back.

Hello this is my fourth time eating at this establishment and always have had great food service is kind of slow but overall we enjoyed playing Keno

Food was good and reasonably priced. Kids menu available with a nice selection. Our server was very attentive and friendly, even when it became quite busy.

Once again. No Husker baseball on tv. They must not have espn but they do have the Florida baseball game on!

Food, not to the level it was in the past. Lack flavor, seasoning on the meat and chicken. Decent prices. Exactly service. Need to keep smoking away from front door. That is the worst, having to walk through the smoke to get in or out.Ambiance was fine.
