Big Kel's Pizza & Wings

Had another birdie drop in my DM's, who had an EXCELLENT memory, that I adored a similar restaurants 1/2 priced select apps on Wednesday...That said, Big Kels ALSO, has 1/2 priced select apps on Wednesdays (today, DAY 1!). Her memory didn't disappoint! FIRSTLY lemme just say, that I was THAT guest (inadvertently) who showed up 17mins before the grill closed ‍ and I am forever sorry. I felt so damn bad for not even *realizing* that grills close generally an hour before the business does. I knew and KNOW that, but it's been a day But anyways! God bless a forgiving waitress. SO... that being said, and totally my fault... I treated myself to their Exotic French Martini Grabbed the Italian Nachos (yes, quite similar!), Ravioli, and Meatballs. Everything but the Ravioli was on their 1/2 priced select apps. Oh man... there's just something about those airy AF chips, covered in peps, cheese, meat, and pepperoncinis. Served with side of marinara sauce. Those meatballs... served with two light, airy and crunchy pieces of dipping bread to sop up all that sauce! However, for the moment, the ravioli stole the show. Just something about a cold, rainy night and a take on simple eats; but with the Big Kels twist!A little hard to find - for me anyways - but there's two entrances, a fabulous game area on the East Sides To-Go door, very eclectic decor (as you'll see in the pics), and a GREAT space for LARGE get together.

We stopped in here on Sunday for lunch. The service was alright. The gal was very friendly and she was doing well. But for the size of our party I feel like she could of used a partner. The food wasn't all that great, it was just okay. My daughter got Mac'n cheese and a fruit bowl. I guess I was expecting better mac, it was like microwaved Kraft. Even the fruit bowl looked sad haha. I tried the street taco pizza, it wasn't my favorite either. The meat was tough and the pizza needed some sort of sauce on it. The pizza crust was tasty. But the pizza itself was just missing something. We tried a side of fries to share too, they were super soggy and over saturated in grease. We got some appetizers too. Cheese curds and onion rings. The curds were great. The onion rings were definitely some onion rings. Haha things were huge ! But weren't really for me. Overall, wasn't the best experience. Don't think I'll be trying it again

Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Arrived shortly after 9pm with a 10pm closing. Lots of staff and they were pleasant. The pizza was covered sparsely with toppings on a thin crust. Cute restaurant. Pretty average at a $24 cost for a medium.

Salad to go was decent, but was accompanied by only a plastic "spork". I was staying in a hotel nearby without another other utensils around - nearly impossible to eat. :/

We had a pretty mediocre visit. We visited some friends for the church in West CB and they asked if we wanted to get Quaker Steak & Lube for lunch but it was unfortunately closed! We drove down the road and walked in here. We sat right away at around 11:00 on a Sunday which was great.Our server was very quick at the very beginning and then lacked attentiveness for the rest of our time there. Maybe she was slammed with tables, but we felt pretty neglected and our party of four was there for over two hours.Although we enjoyed the time with the other couple, it just kinda stunk to be there for so long.I ordered the parmesan boneless wings and it was not near enough. Small wings and a small portion. I ate more lunch when we got home!My wife ordered a personal pizza. It was good and I snagged a few slices of hers.I wish the service had been better and I would not order the same thing if we ever pop in here again.

Family friendly, reasonable and services groups!For the kids they have games and adults a brewery as a neighbor;)

Open to 11 is a lie. Called them from utah because we had a road trip and was planning to stop there for food after they said they were open to 11. Soon later we got there around 9:45 and they werent open so thanks for your customer service and showing that you were closed. 0 stars if i could

I'm from out of town and I came here 5 days in a row! The Char-buff wings are awesome. They fry the wings, sauce them up, THEN throw them on the grill!!Get the rosemary sweet chiliCrazy good!Good deals for beer during happy hour.They make all of their sauces in house, so you can't really go wrong. Their onion rings and buffalo pizza is fire as fu*k!You should definitely eat here. Also, Rachel rules

Had meatballs - 3+. Good but not great. Liked they came with mozzarella which made above them average Mozzarella pizza - chunky tomatoes, good cheese, spices.

Came over cheer competition weekend, place was packed. Got seated and served relatively fast. Nachos: 5/5 fantastic, wonton chips were fresh and dish was hot. Lists of cheese and toppings. Better than expected.Bbq chicken pizza: 2/5 generic crust that was total let down, not great. Toppings were good. Overall disappointing.Charred wings: 5/5 Amazing wings. My favorite wings I can remember having. They were hot and crunchy and the grill flavor was fantastic. I might come back tomorrow for more.
