Best Choice Property Management

Absolutely the worst choice for property management in all of Lincoln possibly all of Nebraska. Lazy and rude doesn't even begin to describe their unprofessional service. Never ever check in on their properties (literally the job), so problems go unfixed and renters go wild. With mowing (about the most simple part of the property management job) they push a mower (miss spots all over) leave snippy notes for renters, and leave weeds all over to grow and grow. No edging or weedeating around edges just a basic quick trim once its gotten so overgrown it can no longer be ignored. On the plus side if you're a renter looking to trash a property your renting these guys will definitely let you do it. Needless to say, they're causing me to leave a property I've rented for 6+ years now.

I'm really disappointed with this company overall. We knew from the beginning that Best Choice Realty was bad news from all of the horrible reviews. However, we weren't able to do anything about it because our property came under his management during our lease. When the time came, he kept over a third of our security deposit (from a lease we didn't even sign with him) and didn't respond to our calls or texts until we threatened to have a lawyer call. I'm angry that we had to move out of a property we loved purely because of a horrible landlord. DO NOT rent from this company and tell your family and friends to stay far away as well.

Good luck if you let them manage your property and expect them to communicate with you! 3 weeks and can't get a returned phone call, email or txt message.

These people are not honest. I had to fight to get part of my daughter's deposit back. I am a landlord in Lincoln and I would never treat someone like that. AVOID THEM

10/10 recommend renting from them! i was able to get ahold of them and everyone was super nice. I would 110% deal with this business again.

DO NOT WORK with this "integrity based and honest" company. They took our deposit and with no documentation (shame on us) kept it and were unwilling to return it even though we never rented the property. They were rude throughout and claimed to have "verbal agreements" with us that never took place. We would rate them a -1 if it was possible. Don't be foolish enough to work with them. When we sent them messages they mysteriously never got them. They don't have phones that can text message correctly apparently. Do yourself a favor and avoid them.

These crap reviews aren't a joke, people. Keith Morris of Best Choice Realty took over a third of our security deposit for ordinary wear of the property i.e. cleaning of toilets, oven, and ceiling fans. He completely inflated the charges and took over 4 weeks to return the rest to us after we called and left numerous unreturned messages. I have a lawyer who is pursuing this claim. It saddens me that he will continue to exploit vulnerable people in Lincoln. Please avoid this company and don't let your friends do business with them!

The owner of this business does not have customer management skills. He does not follow up about maintenance and repairs. Ignores texts and calls. It is very difficult to contact him or get a response. Very difficult working with this person.

This is one of the worst places to attempt to rent from. After days of waiting and waiting and wasting twenty bucks on a half assed credit check we were denied for one of the worst apartments we could rent for the price. It looked like barn animals would have even turned it down and that's being nice. The lock in the house to the basement was broken and holes in the walls that were supposed to be fixed. I am so glad we didn't rent from these unprofessional half wits.

DO NOT USE best choice realty if you are looking for someone to manage your property. These people are super shady and do not communicate. Imagine our surprise when we go to close on the house we sold and find out Keith has placed a lien on it on top of what he kept from the security deposit. He did not tell us and made no attempt to let us know. We had tried calling him numerous times to make sure everyone was on the same page. All we got were crickets. This wasn't the only issue we had with communication. Very poor management. Avoid these unprofessionals at all costs.
