I was very disappointed. This is the first time I have taken my Bernina to be serviced. It started out that I had to pay $10 more for the service because it was not purchased at their store. I was pleasantly surprised that they had it done so quickly, but when I went to picked it up I didn't open the case to check on it and got all the way home (17 miles) and realized they had given me someone else's machine. There was no compensation or apology given until I sent my husband in to exchange machines and he told them how upset I was. They said sorry. So then I take it home, we are out of town for a month before I get to sew again. I sit down and my zig zag knob will not work. I am so frustrated, especially since it has been long enough now that they will most likely not believe me. After almost $100 for service I can't afford to take it to be repaired for something they caused. I will find another service place after this.

Years ago I was in the market for a sewing machine of my own. I had learned how to sew using one of their machines so I decided to try and go there to get one. Had looked up the store times and everything prior, but when I arrived it was closed. Store ladies just glared at my mother and I from inside.

I haven't been there for a couple of years, but while their service of my old machine was excellent, I thought it was a tad overpriced. And I wasn't given the warmest welcome once they found out I wasn't there to buy one of their spaceships. I'm looking elsewhere for sewing machine repair and maintenance.

I love this store. They are always ready to help. Linda's classes are excellent and Cami is always ready to answer my questions and make sure I can do what I want to do with my very complicated machine.
