My mom recently lost her diamond in her wedding ring so I have been on high alert to get my prints checked. I stopped in at Bergman to see if they offered a service for such a thing and they graciously offered to check and CLEAN IT (which was soooooooo needed) for free. They inspected it and told me my prongs had some good life left in them and my ring has not been this sparkling since the day I got engaged! Thank you Bergman for your kindness.

My family & I have been going Bergman's for years. Both Larry & Martha are extremely knowledgeable & will work with their customers to find what they want. My sister got her engagement ring/wedding set from here and my mom has upgraded her wedding set through them multiple times. We both just went last month and upgraded both of our rings yet again--and Martha was more than patient with both of us, getting a variety of stones and settings we both wanted to look at and at a budget we could afford. Larry has done the same for my mom in the past, and found her a sapphire that she still gets complements on every time she wears it!

I'm 48 years old! This is the first time I've ever taken the time out of my life to write a review. Let me start off by saying I'm absolutely appalled. I stopped in today with the intention of getting an appraisal on my wedding ring for insurance purposes.Living in a county that doesn't require masks, and working from home, I don't think to bring one with me. After I was buzzed in I mentioned I did not have a mask and she asked me to go back outside and she would slip one through the door. Ok understandable. Once inside I mentioned since my county doesn't require a mask I didn't think to bring one. She than proceeded to condemn MY choice not to wear one when not mandated, more than once. Masked, I tried to hand her my ring, which she wouldn't touch without gloves, then backed up about 10 feet. Even though it's not her place to judge me I probably wouldn't be writhing this review if she didn't out right lie to me.Remember I only went there for a $75 appraisal. She then proceeded to tell me my ring had a lot of wear and tear. She asked if I wear my ring all the time. I responded of course, it's my wedding ring. She with a condescending tone said she can tell. Whatever that meant. I'm writing this review because of what happened next. She said my ring needed thousands of dollars in repairs or I will start losing stones. I took my ring and stated I was getting second opinion. I took my ring to a very reputable jeweler in Bellevue with decades of experience that said my ring was very solid and didn't need any repairs. Based on my previous advice I questioned his assurance. This professional then showed me my ring under the microscope and pointed out how sturdy my ring was. If she wasn't snarky and condescending I might have been out thousands of unnecessary dollars. With the pandemic and small business owners struggling I definitely expected more. Shame on you. Buyer be ware. Don't let this place be your one stop shop get a second opinion.

The quality of work from this place is acceptable. They are knowledgeable and proficient. With that said, I was surprised by one particular incident. I took two rings in to be cleaned, one of which was purchased from them. They are supposed to check the diamonds before they clean them and they did not. When I went to pick them up later that day, I was told I needed to pay to have the diamonds put back in. I was not responsible for them falling out in the first place so I wasn't going to pay this ridiculous amount.After voicing my concern they agreed it was their fault and I didn't have to pay to replace them.

Have been working with Bergman's for over 40 years. We do not live in Omaha but when we go back to visit, I do have my rings checked. My husband purchased my wedding ring set and they met his budget demands ($250 for stone and rings) with a beautiful 0.49 carat diamond. They worked with us for the 25th anniversary additions. Last month Larry worked with us for the 40th anniversary setting. Now our children are also working with Bergmans. We feel toltally confident we receive excellent service and value for our money at Bergmans.

I discovered this store via Yelp. Both experiences with staff were perfect. Friendly and knowledgeable and very patient. Best of all my engagement and wedding rings were re-sized, cleaned, and dipped. They look better than brand new!!! I've been getting so many compliments.

Bergmans is the number one place to go! Martha and her team are amazing! Not only does she help you find exactly what you want but continues to help keep your diamonds clean for its life.
