Bellevue Public Library

Libraries are the last bastion of liberty. They should not be censored and if there's a book you don't like, don't check the book out! No one is forcing you to go to story times, nor to read something. But it's there if you, or someone else needs it!#ProtectLibertyProtectLibraries

I am so happy that they finally broke ground on a bigger building for this library. They are working hard on building bigger programs but can only do as much as they have room for.

I love this library! I will admit I haven't owned a library card in 20+ years too. They always have a great collection of books available, and the employees are so friendly. Checking out is always quick and painless. They have lots of family events according to the emails I receive. I love their pet program that allows dogs to sit in with readers.

My kids love the Bellevue library! Who ever creates and directs the programs for the kids deserves a pay raise. I have two teenager who want to be signed up for all of the activities. The space stuff and reading rewards programs are amazing. I have a nine year old and the fact that they seem to have activities at the same time as the older kids, shows forethought and planning. Which is often in short supply today. The ladies who do the book sales are a lovely group of grandma's.

Building and decor is in serious need of updating. Libraries should bea place that looks pleasant and encourages kids to stick around and explore their world through books. Great online book service, I love the digital book selections.

Nice kids area with plenty of books. Nice that we can reserve books to pick up online. Friendly staff.

Two or three years ago they revamped this place and it's really nice. Good kids programs and nice computer lab.

I am so happy to have access to this library! The staff is so helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. They were so helpful when getting books for a local book club . Their catalogue of hardback, ebooks and audio books are just some of the many items you can checkout.

Incredible staff and services. Excellent variety of programs, media, community service. They can get almost any book for you! In a world where costs keep going up this library gives us amazing services the entire family can enjoy with free access. A gem.

I came in on a Wednesday morning to study for some finals. The library itself is a bit dated. It could be modernized and made into a more relaxing place. But there are table and desks where you can do your homework. There is a children's section with stuffed animals and lots of books, but the children are loud. Some don't stop crying. It's a calm place, but it's not dead silent. There are lots of books in good conditions. Overall, it's an okay place if you need to finish homework or just want to read a book.
