The Bellevue Farmer's Market was great! We went when it was a little chilly but still had a great time. A lot of great vendors, some even with samples! Tried some great biscuits and gravy, won a free kids book, and was able to play at the park. Totally recommend to support our locals!

I enjoy going every Sat. Always something new, and I've even made new friends with some of the vendors. They often have things for younger kids so that is nice and often have live music playing.

Having just moved the the state within the month, I am on a mission to get out and see what the farmers markets and local community have to offer. This is one of the local markets that I found via FB, follow them for more info about when they are open, what sort of vendors you can expect, etc. This market has a shorter run than the Omaha market, for example.Location: street parking surrounding a lovely shaded community park with a playground to keep the kids occupied while you browse. It is on the smaller side but you'll still find a good variety of local produce, honey, and baked goods. I would say that roughly half of the vendors appeared to be direct-sales (home based or mlm businesses).Bring Cash, I don't recall seeing an ATM and while some vendors are equipped for card payments, being small or home based businesses they may not all have that feature available.

This is a great smaller market that offers everything the big markets offer without the crowds. They feature area farmers, so produce becomes more bountiful as the season expands. The produce is seriously picked the night before or morning of the market and lasts much longer than your produce from the grocery store. Live music each weekend begins at 9 am, but the market opens at 7:45 am for the early birds who want the pick of the produce. This is a great market for senior citizens who are sick of being bumped around at the bigger markets. Plus, they have vendors who do accept our senior coupons.

We just moved into the area and was excited to here there was a local farmers market. It's small which I like but the one lane/sidewalk with pop-up tents on either side is a little cramped. I brought my dog and he gets a little excited so the small walkway between tents was just a little crowed and overwhelming for us. I loved the variety of vendors but expected a few more produce vendors. It is a little early in the season for most produce so hopefully there will be more vendors later in the season. I purchased some pork liver dog treats from Clovis & Company and a delicious peach salsa from Scotts Pico. We will definitely be returning!
