Bella Skin Care and Massage Therapy

My husband and I went for a couples massage for our very first anniversary. We had purchased gift certificates for one another. Needless to say, we were both very excited as it was a first for both of us. In scheduling our appointment, I found out that we had to wait almost 6 weeks for it. So much for a celebratory spa day date. Upon arriving, we found parking to be a bit of a challenge, and even locating the building was difficult as the business is located in a small yet charming little house. I must say that the building had tons of potential curb appeal, but sadly was in disarray and had a tiny almost non visible sign. Our appointment was during the holidays, so the cozy little house and front yard could have really been decorated and made to look like the owners of the spa really cared about the business and the complete overall customer experience. Sadly, though, the business looked run down and neglected, not a good first impression. Once entering the spa, it was a bit cluttered, but everyone was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Our massages were wonderful, although due to covid, we were in separate rooms and had to wear masks. Neither of which supported our original plans of a relaxing spa date. However, we both enjoyed our massages. The room I was in was beautiful, and the total environment was very relaxing for all the senses. My massage was wonderful, the masseuse was very knowledgeable and respectful. To sum things up, my husband and I loved the people and the service they provided. However, a lot was lost on appearance and branding. The employees seemed to want to make this appointment a "total experience" but forgot that that begins before you ever enter the building and before the massage ever begins.

This review is so long overdue!! Background... I've managed high end salon and spas in Mn, Co and Ca and i am a massage therapist. (PS I don't tell ANYONE this when I go in to get services). I'm picky. Like really picky. If I walk in a place and the vibe is off, I will leave. I look for professionalism, amazing products and operators who know what they are doing. Bella has consistently exceeded my expectations. The receptionist is absolutely wonderful. She remembers names, she has wonderful energy and is so sweet. Everyone that I have had services from has done an amazing job. I've had wonderful massages and facials there all done with high end products as well.The place itself is beautiful and smells amazing. Bella is absolutely wonderful and I encourage anyone to have a service there so they can see! This is Lincoln's premier day spa, hands down.

Excellent facial in a lovely, relaxing environment. I look forward to seeing Ann and she always knows just what my skin needs.

I've been to Bella before but tonight had my first massage with Haley (hoped I spelled her name correct) as a birthday present from my husband. BEST MASSAGE EVER!! She was professional, friendly but most of all did an amazing job working out my sore muscles. I will definitely be booking another one here again. Thank you for making me feel my best.

Shen worked with us to get my daughter in when she technically didn't work that day. She was kind, helpful and explained everything she waa doing. She gave us good advise to follow after the acupuncture treatment to continue so my daughter can begin healing.

This spa is adorable. Beautiful calming atmosphere and wonderful employees. The muscle relief massage I had was above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend. (Also, a gift card from here makes a great gift!)

I came to Bella Skin Care for my very first brazilian wax. Believe me, I was terrified making the appointment and the consequent days I waited for my actual appointment. But when the day came, I realized I was worried for no reason and the people at Bella are responsible for my overall great experience.My appointment was with Nikki and she is AMAZING (but I'll get to that in a bit). Walking into Bella is literally like walking into someone's house. It smells great and is very relaxing and quaint. I was greeted very kindly and was offered water and magazines while I waited. The ambiance was great and the music was soothing. The lighting is dim, but not too dim. When I met NIkki, she was friendly and professional. Given the sensitivity of the brazilian wax, Nikki made sure to make me feel very comfortable. Throughout the process, I found myself not feeling nervous at all and it was a pleasure talking to Nikki. We talked about makeup, traveling, and tons other. It felt like I was just gossiping with one of my girlfriends. Before I knew it, the whole thing was over and to be completely honest, the pain was very minimal. I attribute that mostly to NIkki being so professional, making me feel so comfortable, and overall being so talented at her job.I will definitely go back to Bella's in the future to try out their massages and other services, but as for now... if you're looking for a waxer, Nikki is the one for you!

This small converted house may not look like much on the outside, but it's very clean and nice on the inside. Give yourself extra time to find it, as it's in a residential area. Street parking can be a little confusing, but I found a small parking lot nearby that works well. I would recommend Kristi for bikinis, brazilians, or in-between's. Her friendly, approachable manner puts me at ease, she's terrific at what she does, and she's happy to answer questions about after-care.

OMG. I am tightly-wound, and Bella had me so relaxed, I was drooling and half asleep.(We visited the 4726 Cooper location)I made a "Couples Sanctuary" appointment for my mom & I for Mothers Day. We were running a couple minutes late and frazzled as usual, but as soon as we walked through the front door, it was impossible not to slow down and breathe. I was thirsty; they had water waiting. I skipped breakfast; they offered us a choice of sweet or savory rolls. They gave us a foot scrub and soak in some hot water & herbs as we sat in our robes and drank our tea (sooo nice!). And I'm not even to the best part yet...I've had massages before, and this one was an hour of BLISS. Both of the masseuses actually listened to what was bothering us & modified the massages. I had hurt my lower back earlier that week, and so Toddia gave it special attention. Honestly, my mom & I both walked out like noodles, and we STAYED relaxed for the rest of the day! A new family record - ha!This was the best mother's day gift I've ever given, and I cannot WAIT to go back for a solo session.

This spa is excellent! First, my two daughters and I were in town for a short visit over the holidays and I wanted to treat my girls to facials. Technically they are closed the Monday after Christmas but Jenny agreed to come in. So extremely grateful that she did. I live in Chicago so have my choice of high end salons but I will do everything in my power to come back here anytime I'm in town. Had the hydra facial and my face honest to goodness did have that "glow" when finished. I felt comfortable walking around for the rest of the day makeup free. The spa itself is quaint and has a calming presence to it. Highly recommend and like I said, I'll definitely come back.
