Leaving a 2 is being very nice. The office staff is nice. That's about it. If you go to the office, you'll get the help you need. But don't call or email cause you won't get a response for days. The leaks at this place is unbelievable and the maintenance here SUCKS. I have had more leaks in my apartment than I can actually count. Do no, I repeat, do not move here.

This place is crap! Sadly I lived there for 8 years. I've flooded over 5 times from different spot in the unit. They've literally stolen from me. They have storage space but don't use them will just throw your stuff away. I've witnessed them take advantage of people that don't speak English. They've tried to tell me that rent is due on the 1st by 5 p.m. nowhere in your lease agreement does it tell you what time of day you can pay rent! If you're reading this please don't give them your money!!! Slumlords to the max!

My experience has been great. Granted with COVID there's been adjustments. But the on staff manager is wonderful and helpful. Large complex with limited maintenance but they generally get to your issue and fix quickly and correctly. I have nothing negative to say other then I'm extremely happy and love my place. Though the lack of upgrades to my apartment is disappointing as my rent increases. But again, I find this place to be very nice, great location and the manager does all that she can. HOWEVER, I recently have discovered an issue with THEIR SCREENING AGENCY they use to determine credit worthiness. This 3rd party is using OLD models for determining your credit score. I wanted to co-sign for my son to have an apartment, and even though each reporting agency reports be in the HIGH 680's (need to be over 675 w/ Experian) this 3rd party reported back a credit score of 627. 61 points LOWER then what Experian themselves report. So ANYONE that wants to apply or cosign, BEFORE you waste and burn away $40 for a credit check, be very very certain of your credit. The property management GOLDMARK seems disinterested that they have outsourced their screening to a 3rd party that is using an OLD model to determine your credit. And admittedly BY this 3rd party, they are using Model 2 (NOTE: current model is 10 or 11 with SOME companies/business's are using at model 8. So that is my take. Great place. Great Location. The office cannot help how the management company does their business. So regardless that I have printed out my credit report from EACH credit agency (Equifax, TransUnion AND Experian, and the average is OVER 675) and the credit they look to is Experian, they do not care. They do not care that they are turning away potential renters and taking $40 from your pocket. They need to review and obtain a better 3rd party that uses current versions of determining your FICO score that they solely base your acceptance or denial. They CLAIM to be 'fair' and not have a claim filed that they cannot use your actual consumer credit score. SO there you go - make your own choice - Their 3rd party admits the score they report back to Beacon can vary from a few points up to 100 points. SO if you are borderline, I'd look elsewhere unless you're ok with throwing away 40 bucks. IF you want to throw it away - send it to me LOL

If I could leave less than 1 star, I definitely would. Where do I begin? How about their bogus office hours? 9-5 I think is there current listed hours but I never see anyone there and can never get anyone on the phone. And they definitely don't stay until their closing time so good luck trying to get packages or talk to someone during office hours!Management changed at least 6 times in the 2.5 years we were there. No matter who was manager, no one would take noise complaints or parking issues seriously. Residents would leave their non-functioning vehicles in spots for MONTHS when it says in the lease they have to be moved at least once every 3 days.Snow and ice removal is a joke. Last full winter we were there, my boyfriend was the one shoveling our entrance/sidewalk and even took care of another sidewalk because he knew there was an amputee that took that path.Maintenance took WEEKS even for the smallest of repairs (that was when Martell was around and from my understanding he is thankfully gone). My boyfriend and I got so sick of waiting around for things to get done, we just started taking care of everything ourselves unless it was a plumbing issue (and even then our rusted out guest bathroom sink took way too long to be installed.) We also never knew if maintenance did come when they said they would because they never left notes like they're supposed to saying if someone was in our apartment that day. We would get less than 24 hour notice if they were doing a building check up or if there was going to be workers in and out of the building or our apartment.Constantly got threats of eviction for unpaid utility bills when in fact it was set up to pull automatically each month from THEIR online system. We terminated our lease early (huge mistake. they make you pay month-to-month, electricity and MUD if you don't do a lease buyout until someone occupies the apartment. even though they couldn't be bothered to hold up on their end of the lease agreement. never once got the offer of a free carpet cleaning or accent wall the 2 times we renewed our lease. yes, that's in your agreement!) We were told that we'd be kept in the loop on when someone moved in and someone would let us know when to expect our final bill. I noticed around Christmas 2018 that our apartment listing was no longer on their website so my boyfriend called to verify if someone was in fact taking over our apartment (about 3 weeks after we moved). We were told if everything checked out for this new applicant, they'd be moving in on 1/15/19. They'd let us know once they had it all sorted out. For the next few weeks, we never once got a call. We called and emailed several times and the maybe 2-3 times someone did actually answer the phone, we were told "I can't give you that information but I'll let Jesse know you called!" Jesse was a decent manager in the short time we were there while she managed. 99% sure that other office worker just said she'd tell Jesse but then never actually gave her any of our messages. We never received any call backs and they refused to tell us the official date someone was moving in. They had no issue telling us initially that there was a tentative move-in date of 1/15/19 but after that, they didn't tell us anything. So I'm pretty confident we're going to get screwed over on this final bill because we have no idea when our contract officially ended and the new tenant's officially started! We also, somehow, still have to pay OPPD and MUD until someone occupies the apartment. No biggie, should be small bills. LOL YEAH RIGHT. How the hell does an empty apartment rack up a $60+ MUD bill and a $50+ OPPD bill?? Friends who live in a different building told us that they've seen lights on in our old place DAY AND NIGHT since we moved out in the beginning of December. And for MUD, they're too cheap to get individual trackers for each unit so each section splits the MUD bill (6 units per section). So we still got to pay a giant MUD bill despite our heat being set on low. Just another way for this slum to rip you off before you can be free of them!To sum up, DO NOT LIVE HERE OR ANY OTHER GOLDMARK PROPERTY. YOU WILL SERIOUSLY REGRET IT.

We are 6 month into our lease here we signed up for 12 and it's awful here. My mother always has to go outside to smoke cause landlord charge you for smoke scent. We have third floor apartment and roof leak above toilet when snow melts. My mother doesn't speak good English and the managements make fun of her and mock her. We had to pay to fix roof ourself. It's very expensive for the conditions of apartments. I wouldn't wish anyone to have the misfortune of moving into Beacon Hill apartmentS
