Mark is always so helpful when we walk in the door. The meat is fresh and always tender and delicious. The Best steaks, home made jerky sticks and brats. Fast and dependable on getting our deer processed also.

Deer hunters beware! When I first started taking my deer to Dave BIG meats, I was assured that I would receive my deer back and they don't batch grind multiple deer. (I am a stickler on my deer after seeing how some are field dressed and brought to processing.) They do batch grind deer. In addition to that, when I started eating my ground, it was seasoned as breakfast meat. Deer meat is my families yearly supply of red meat, now I have more than a year's supply of breakfast meat! I called and talked to Dave one of the owners, and he didn't care. Didn't care that it was the wrong meat. I asked for 10 pounds of ground beef to get me thru these next 10 weeks till deer season and he flat said he wouldn't do that as it was "my problem". When I told him I was lied to about batch ground, he got extremely defensive and argumentative, almost like he has been caught lying to customers before. He did offer a "discount" on my deer this year, to which I kindly refused after finding out that they batch grind. Bennington will be betting my business from here on out!

I don't think you can find any place in Omaha that has better Steaks, Chops and Hamburger. For many years I was getting so discussed with the meats I was getting in our local stores, especially the beef -- It tasted like liver. A friend of my sons told me to try BIG Meats down in Millard. I did just that and now buy most of my meats there especially if I am entertaining people from out of town that have no idea what Nebraska beef tastes like. Have never been disappointed.Kathy W.

The meat is very good. Best bacon I've ever eaten. Great rib eyes and filets. I would give it 5 stars but customer service is not good. 2 brothers run the place. Dave is very friendly and lets you know he really appreciates your business. The other brother, Mark, is not friendly, borders on rude and acts like he could care less. When I see him behind the counter I feel like walking back out.

Best and friendly customer service, great group of guys that always make us feel welcome. My little girls love their jerky and beef sticks. Best meats in town!
