Audio Video Specialist

Went to audio video to have my subs installed in my fiancé's car and tint windows and windshield. In the beginning talking about what we wanted to do they were very helpful in the end goal of upselling their own stuff instead of using my subs which were better and more cost effective for us and our amp we had. They also wouldn't tint the vehicle the way we wanted it done and ended up charging more than what we'd pay in Omaha at A+ auto glass for less and lighter tint. When she brought the vehicle in without me there they continued to bash on my equipment I had and proceeded to tell her it just wouldn't work and up sold her 2 subs of lesser value than what we already had as well as forget to install all the tint they had promised which again was already less than what we could've had done elsewhere. After they had been in her vehicle a week or so we found out they hooked up improperly and it blew the primary control module's fuse on the vehicle as well as it's relay and it would no longer start. Had to have it towed to ford for repairs and miss out on work. After which I called and told them they needed to reimburse us, hook up subs correctly and give the full amount of tint we could've got elsewhere for our troubles. They happily obliged. However when we got the vehicle back, the tint was done the way they had originally promised and not how i could've got it done at A+ which I specifically said is what I wanted done and we agreed upon. Now when I call back into the owner he states that he never said he'd do that and won't, but will reimburse the money she paid for the one window so we can have it done elsewhere full well knowing that it'll cost half of the total cost to do the car to have them do just the one window and again not be cost effective and be more hassle for us when it should've just all been done correctly the first time or taken care of the second time like we had spoke about. I've heard nothing but bad things about them and was warned not to use them and regret using them solely out of what we expected to be convenience. Do not make the same mistake as us.

We are still working to get everything working in my car. The car is proving to be the problem. So the manufacturer of the radio is now on the case and I'm sure all will be resolved. Nice people to work with.

When to have Windows tinted although they look good for the price of $250. I discovered item missing from my car. I recommend to them to several other soon to be customers but after they heard they heard of someone taking belongings out of my car they soon changed there minds.

Inquired about having an OTA antenna installed in my house, Scott told me they couldn't do it...I used to work for Ben & Scott and installed OTA antennas frequently. Not sure what changed, but perhaps they're getting out of the Video Specialist market. Very disappointed.
