Attitude On Food

We used Attitude on Food for our wedding back in 2016. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were easy to work with and the food tasted very good. We really enjoyed our meals. We also used their bar service and the bartender was great and made nice drinks. That being said they are only getting 3 stars because they really missed big on several things. First my only request for the bar was that I as the groom wanted to have an Old Fashioned at my wedding. They didn't bring the proper ingredients. No Old Fashioned for me. Second we requested roasted potatoes and instead got mashed potatoes. They tasted great but again not what we asked for. Third My wife needed gluten free so we had two desserts one gluten free cake and one not gluten free, they mixed them together at the end of the night so no left over cake for my wife. Fourth some random woman came into the venue to snoop prior to the wedding so a catering staff member took upon themselves to show her around and they walked in on my wife while she was changing. Fifth we were given a personalized bottle of Champagne to commemorate the event that was thrown away at the end of the night by the staff as they were cleaning. None of this was really major and certainly didn't ruin our night but left a very bad taste in our mouth about every recommending our using this company again. They did offer to buy us an anniversary cake and bottle of Champagne but we did not want freebies, we just want them to take more care when working at such a memorable event.

The food trucks comes to my work! In a pinch there food is great. Sometimes they run out of food while I'm in line :( Macaroni is awesome!

Best catering in Omaha for big events! I love the creativity and attention to detail they bring to each event that I have attended. Their service was professional, streamlined and accommodating to any of your needs for your event and actually are quite reasonably priced. Go to one of their group tastings to sample a wide range of their offerings, which will make navigating their wide menu a breeze. We used them for catering for our wedding and had a fantastic meal! We were able to take home leftovers (although there wasn't much left), which made accommodating family the day after the wedding a breeze!

We booked with AOF for our wedding and I couldn't be more impressed! Their food was a huge hit with our guests and almost everyone had something good to say about the food. An added plus, we had two guests who are celiac and they easily catered to their gluten free needs. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of some delicious food to be catered.

Our event went off without a single hiccup.From the initial planning to the execution it was flawless. We had plenty to worry about and this took a big load off. The food was excellent. The bar service was a big hit. All friendly and caring! Please look to them for your next event big, medium, or small...

Went to a wedding last night at the Omar event center and Attitude on Food (AOF) catered the event. The best description is that they certainly did have an attitude, and not a very positive one. I didn't realize that I would have to specify a dairy allergy ahead of time, especially since others at the wedding (including groom) had food allergies. When we got there early during the cocktail hour, I asked a couple of the servers about the appetizers and if they had dairy products. They mainly shrugged and didn't attempt to answer the question or guide me to an answer. I went to talk to a 3rd server who directed me around the corner to where AOF was plating food behind a curtain. AOF said that they would check into it and get back to me. An hour later, right before dinner came out, they told me that there was really nothing they could do and that I should have specified my allergy ahead of time (which I get and I should have done but in this day in age, you would think they could accommodate with some sort of substitution, especially with 230 guests). The server came back and said that the only items they could serve me were chicken fingers with fruit and asked how I felt about it. I said not particularly good but if that was my only choice, then that is what I would eat. They ended up bringing me cold chicken tenders with no sauce even to dip them in which I barely choked down and then they must have had "hidden" dairy in them like whey, since I got sick from them later. I am guessing they were frozen and that AOF didn't truly know the ingredients. My husband had the main plating of food which was chicken stuffed with brie, mashed potatoes, and green beans and said it rated a 3 out of 10 and that he had eaten airplane meals that were better than the meal served. He also commented that 1 of the 2 wedding cakes was still frozen on the inside. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience.

Nathan Newhouse and his staff are one of the best experiences I have had in catering in the Omaha area. Their food is wonderful, their services are above reproach and their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any event weather casual or upscale

Chef Nathan and his Director of Operations Melissa are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Not only is Attitude on Food INCREDIBLY affordable, they work with their client SO much and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. They respond quickly to emails and are more than accomodating and polite when you do talk to them. They are catering my wedding next year and we already have had a tasting with them. He cooked the main things on our menu, and let me just say.. he is truly talented, EVERYTHING was delicous. His food is absolutely delicious and the service and the price cannot be beaten. This isn't your plain roast beef and fried chicken catering either (even though he will do that if you want-and it will be amazing :-) ), he will do it all! We are having Mexican food for our reception and let me just say, his Mexican food can compete with all the authentic Mexican restaurants along 24th street! He catered my sisters wedding 4 years ago, everyone raved about the food for their wedding too. I am so lucky to have Chef Nathan/Attitude on Food as my caterer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Attitude on food was hard to contact, didn't respond, and took advantage of us not being able to host our event by not giving us any sort of refund or being able to negotiate options. I would not recommend this caterer to anyone.

Attitude on Food was wonderful for our wedding. Nathan and Melissa were great to work with and we received many compliments on the food. The creativity of Attitude on Food is far beyond what I have seen at other catered events.
