This is a nice little gem of a thrift to add to Omaha's thrift scene. Everyone is super nice & the prices are worth checking this place out! I wish I could go more often but I have found some hidden gems, both clothes and housewares here.

This place is a hidden gem. I have driven by so many time and thought about stopping. Finally stopped by today and was very pleased to find a new thrift store. The mens selection was great, lots of very nice dress shirts and pants and even suits. The Women's selection was also very nice, and arranged very nicely. The prices are super low, similar to Goodwill, but items were consignment quality. Lots of home decor and jewelry too. Will definitely be back.

The Assistance League Thrift Shop moved within recent months from around 35th & Leavenworth to 85th & Center (near Westside Middle School). The new location is housed in a bigger space, has lots of parking, and is very convenient for me to stop in which I did last week. I was very impressed with their clothing selection. Everything was clean and neatly hung up on hangers organized by garment type, color and size. Prices were very reasonable. They had quite a nice selection of dishes, jewelry, knickknacks and books. There were even some puzzles, games and room decor. It felt high end and not musty, messy, junky or dusty like many thrift shops are. I bought a small box with a dragonfly on the lid for my elementary school age niece for $2.00 and the ladies working wrapped it up in newspaper and put it in a gift bag. That was a nice touch! My spouse needs some new work shirts and I told him to look there first!
