I've walked past this place about a thousand times and I've never stopped in and I've so glad that changed. This place is everything and adorable!! It has everything from mugs, to spices, to kitchen utensils, to decorations. The prices are quite reasonable and the quality is so nice!! I believe the owner has cashed out my order, she was so sweet and does a wonderful job keeping this place neat and tidy! I highly recommend if you're looking for something sassy or a little different for a gift for a friend or family member! My mom would love this shop and I can't wait to take her here!!

This place is awesome! It's too bad I don't live closer, although I bet my husband is sure thankful that we don't!! LOL! We may or may not have bought out the majority of Halloween that they had. There are soooo many interesting things to look at, all of which aligned with mine and my family's interests. We received great customer service; the owner offered us discount pricing on two of our most desired items, for which we are exceedingly appreciative! I will definitely go out of my way to stop by whenever we are in Omaha!

This place is amazing. Had to check it out. Never seen so many bottles of sauces. There was plenty more than just hot sauces but that was my main objective going in here. First time in the worker payed no mind. Came back a day later and a different worker was super friendly. She was helpful on choosing out what I ended up bringing home. A sure place to visit.

A nice novelty shop that a great fit for the Old Market. Expect plenty of seasonal offerings alongside staples like incense, artisanal soaps and a wall of hot sauce. That's pretty fun!If you need a unique, quirky or kinda-gag gift, this is a great spot to find all the above all-the-while supporting a great local business.

It's turning into more of a market and the food and soda selection is awesome! Since those living downtown might not have many food choices for groceries, this place help!Must stop in as there are some new staff and yes the owner can have a strong personality but he means well and helps so many people in the old market!

Stumbled upon this shop accidentally down stairs below street level after leaving record store. Halloween is my favorite holiday to decorate and this store has some of the cutest displays. Full size characters too. I plan to make this my favorite store to shop when in Omaha!

Hello omaha .I respect Ashley's place .I do..I had my door pried open twice and it's on cam and my things were taken twice and one of the managers promised locks on my door and never did the locks .there busted .and everyone has deadbolt but me .I text the manager asking over and over again and he lied to me about fixing the already broken handle and lock..it's not secured entry either..thats even pried open.i just want locks and my belongings back and I feel the manager here didn't call the main boss after he saw everything on cam over and over again.jg here 12-20-24.

If I could leave a zero star review I definitely would. My friends and I came into the store to shop around while we waited to pickup a food order we had placed prior. As we looked around I realized that my lips were chapped (winter of course) and the bag I had was roughly laptop sized so it was pretty capacious. As I dug in my bag to try to find this I followed behind my friends while they looked at things, then towards the back of the store I noticed the shopkeeper (man, bald, older) came over to look at us. I didn't think anything of it as it's his job... but as I continued to search I noticed he was following us around the store, and as I looked up through the glass case, there he was, arms crossed, STARING at me. It was making me extremely uncomfortable so I put my bag on the ground and then grabbed the Vaseline I was searching for blindly before. I then said to him "I am not stealing if that's what you're thinking" and he replied "Well you keep digging around in your purse so" I'm not sure if I said anything after that but we continued to look around and we realized that he was still following us, and when I said something to the group of friends I was with he stated "it's my job to watch you" and started talking about the fact that they have cameras and are "watching". We then left after this but Long story short, if you are at all young or alternative, DO NOT enter this store as you will literally be immediately profiled as thieves. I am genuinely appalled that I was treated this way, so much so that I am writing an extensive review for such matters. If the shopkeeper reads this, just know, every time you do this, you are losing a paying customer. This is highly disappointing, disrespectful, and weird.

So I don't usually write these bad reviews, but me and my friends had such a bad experience it almost had me in tears. We went here June 24th, around 8:00-8:30 pm. Employees had a bias against us the second we walked in. The first employee (female, white, brown-white hair, about 50 or 60 years old) immediately yelled at us when we walked in, yelling "You're not allowed in here!" We stopped in confusion and she goes "Anyone who is 16 and under is not allowed without an adult." Is this an actual rule? I think the employees made it up because they didn't want to deal with children (sometimes understandable but still not right since this was not an 18+ store). While it was quite flattering that she assumed we were so young, we are all 20 and the fact that she immediately got defensive and assumed our age made us very concerned. So, we proceeded to walk around the store. There was one moment that my friend showed me a Jason figure, and I grabbed it to examine it. We had to pick it up in order to see the price since the tag was placed on the bottom of the figure. When I realized it was too expensive, I placed it back. This was the only example I can think of where we "messed around" with their products. They didn't yell at us until we were looking at the cool shirts they had. It was in a dark area of the building and the shirts were all black so I brought the shirt into the light to examine it closely. I hear the female employee yell "DON'T TAKE THE SHIRTS OFF THE HANGERS," which confused me because the shirt was still on the hanger, it was just off the rack. When my friend did the same, they got very angry. The male employee (white, bald/short hair) walked up to us saying they were going to kick us out. We were very confused. We asked him how we were supposed to look at the shirts without touching them. He paused and said something non-coherent about "You can tell the price right here," even though that had nothing to do with the conversation. He then proceeds to say that they were watching us on the camera, and we were touching everything and messing their pristine store up with our nasty hands. We were thoroughly confused and I was on the brink tears at this point.I am very confused and hurt that they had something against us because we looked young and dressed like teenagers. I also want to add that they were definitely NOT sober. The male was very sweaty and talked to us incoherently, and was unable to answer any of our questions. The male employee was also extremely sweaty even though it was very cold in the store. I would say either alcohol or speed.Anyways, just letting everyone know that if you go to this store, you have to be over 16 and are not allowed to examine anything.

This store is one of my favorite places downtown. It's a lot of fun to look around but a great place to actually buy hot sauce. The owner is super nice and so are all of the staff. They have always been friendly and make this place an undoubted landmark of the old market.
