This art gallery is a cooperative with a few dozen artists that showcase and sell their work. They reset the works about every month so there is always something fresh. There is usually painting, ceramics, jewelry, and a few other mediums. There is no admission fee but there is a free will donation collection. First Fridays are fun here and they usually have drinks/snacks and some music playing. Come support local art! They have art at all price points. There is a pay parking lot right in front of the gallery that's really convenient. The front door is on the parking lot side.

Beautiful, unique local art. Over 30 Omaha artists are part of this gallery so there's a whole range of art styles to admire. Art prices ranged from $25 to thousands. As we entered, we were greeted by one of the artists. She was so welcoming and told us about the cooperative's mission. We felt even more welcomed when she offered us complimentary coffee and tea! Lovely place to enjoy art and support local artists!

I'm sure many people have walked by this place and not realized what it was. Well, next time your downtown, stop in. They have new art from 20+ artists every month and it features art across all shapes, styles, subjects and mediums. The staff is very friendly and for a more formal art tour of downtown, sign up to go during a "First Friday" event.

My wife and I were married here in October 2010. It isn't a place that I would have ever thought of for a wedding ceremony but my wife is much more open minded and creative than I am. We knew going into it that we wanted to do something a little different and we wanted to do it in the the Old Market. She's always loved this gallery and asked about its availability. Come to find out, we were to be their first wedding. That was pretty exciting but I was a little nervous because of the set-up. The staff was very accommodating even helping set-up the chairs, which we had to rent. They also helped re-arrange a bit for the ceremony. Because of the set-up, it was a tad cramped but no one seemed to mind. The wedding itself went very well and the atmosphere was fantastic. We even had a choice of which art work to put on the wall behind us. The only negative might be parking but it's in the Old Market so it's to be expected. For someone that's planning a wedding on a budget but wants something out of the ordinary, I highly recommend it. The cost was just a donation and it was much appreciated.

100% of the proceeds go to the artists, so that makes for more affordable art. This is one of my go-to places for that "find something in the $20-30 range" for the annual office gift exchange (although they also have plenty of larger, pricier items as well). There are quite a few co-op artists and the gallery is quite small, so not all of the art is readily on display. Go to the bookshelf with binders - each artist has a binder with examples of their work. So, if you don't readily see something you want on display, these books can come in pretty handy. If you're in the market for something new, one-of-a-kind and local, definitely add this place to your list. And, if you have questions, just ask...the artists take turns staffing the gallery and are always willing to help.

I don't go in here often, but I would say every time someone in my family is in town, we hit the Co-op Gallery. You never know what you might find, depending what they have going on. The nice thing is there is lots of affordable art here. It's great to support local artists, especially when it's within your budget.

A wonderful variety of art at price points accessible for all. I enjoyed a stroll through the gallery on a warm summer day, and purchased a small ceramic piece. Shop local and support the arts!

The Artists Cooperative Fine Art Gallery in the Old Market is a lovely gallery, filled with amazing art. After walking through for the first time I realized how important this Cooperative is. Over 35 local and regional artists show their work and all the proceeds go directly to the artists. What a cool thing for Omaha and the art community!
