Artis Strength and Fitness

Wanted to write a much needed review about Artis Gym... I recently traveled to Omaha for work and needing a gym that taught early AM classes that were similar to Crossfit for about 5-7days.The gym owner/main trainer was out of town on vacation, but took the time to email me back quickly and gave me a very generous weekly rate. I came early on my first day and met two guys in the gym. Both were welcoming and gave me a tour, even though neither were coaches. When I came back the next day, they even remembered my name!The gym equipment is up to date and in very good condition. The building is quite large, with fans and rolling doors to help with air flow. Each person has a section that is taped off to help with social distancing. It was nice not having to walk around to gather equipment! I had my own personal rower and weights within my taped off area. Coach Ryan was very welcoming and treated me like I had been going to the gym for years. I never felt like an outsider at this new gym.When I did get to meet Jon (owner), he gave me some tips on my squat that really helped my form. I was never singled out for doing modifications that fit my ability. I hope to make this my home gym if I ever move back to Omaha.

CrossFit Artis is a top notch establishment. I've been a client from the very beginning and have noticed continuous growth, both physically and mentally. The owners, Jon and Jen, have built a fantastic community where everyone is welcome, regardless of your fitness level. I workout daily next to elite athletes and receive the same amount of coaching, support, and attention as they do. If you are looking for a place to get a fantastic workout in a great community, Artis can't be beat!

I only have great things to say about Crossfit Artis! Not only are the coaches incredibly knowledgeable and helpful but the other athletes are so supportive too. I immediately felt welcome and by the end of my first week I felt like a regular. Not only is it a great workout, but it is one of the best run gyms I've been to. This is how a gym should be run. I'm so glad I found Artis! It's my new home away from home.
